I recently moved to Langwarrin and needed a new vet. I was recommended Langwarrin vet, and in particular Barb. I had a beautiful Staffy and wanted some advice on how to care for her in her aging years, and decided to take her to see Barb. Barb was amazing from the minute she opened the door to see us. She sat on the floor and welcomed us in. Unfortunately things didn’t go well and Barb discovered a large tumour on Bonnie’s shoulder. I was shattered! Barb was so kind and understanding, talking me through my options and offered kind words and tissues as I cried . Barb sent us home for me to to consider all of my options . Unfortunately 10 days later I had to put my beautiful girl to rest. This was one of the hardest things I’ve done. I can’t begin to say how amazing Barb and her team were that day. I was over come with such fear and sadness, but felt so much support from Barb and the other girls. I can’t recommend them highly enough! I have owned pets all of my adult life and have never seen a team so caring and compassionate. Thank you so much Barb and ladies for all your support and kindness. X Read Less

I place this review with a heavy heart, however it reflects my disappointment in this clinic. We had been going here for a few years, super happy with Dr Manning, he’s very old school. Always very caring, about the owner and their pet, and reasonable prices. Since it’s changed ownership, this type of care seems to have gone out the window. We needed a refill of anti seizure medication for our dog, Now our boy has been in and out for other appointments since early Feb as he had an eye removed (by the wonderful Dr Manning) we have previously been able to call for a refill without a consultation. As Dr Manning is away, we had to go in for an appointment. We are not local, but they have always been worth the trip. We were literally in for 8-10mins, the most basic check, and $94 ( this did include the meds, but even with a consult and meds, we have never been charged that much) I then called to request, a couple of scripts for his eye drops (as I forgot at the appointment ) The appointment was Sat I called today, as I missed them yesterday,Tuesday, closing at 2pm) and another $16.50 While I expected a small charge, I didn’t expect this. I really wasn’t keen to see the doctor we were booked with, as I am still quite annoyed from a previous appointment with her, it was very close to Christmas, we had noticed our dogs eye looked quite angry, and she was dismissive of our concerns, 2 days later Christmas eve we had to rush him to the Animal Emergency, don’t even get me started on their lack of care, they are all about $$$$$ they did find he had an ulcer, which had the original vet, done the dye test, would have been found. To be fair, there was an underlying issue, which came to light later, and apparently is not easy to diagnose, he also had glaucoma and which was causing him excruciating pain, leading us to have his eye removed. Dr Manning, and all the staff there, had set the bar for us, unfortunately with the new owner, I have not had the same faith, and we will not be returning. Read Less
