DO NOT USE THIS VET
If I could leave no stars believe me I would have Trying to get my sick dogs medication from Main Ridge Vet was a nightmare. Rude & unprofessional it was though they didn’t have any concern for my dog and basically didn’t need my business . Have changed to a more professional vet clinic now & the problem is resolved. Will be making a written complaint to the Vet Board & then Ombudsman. Will not rest until my dissatisfaction is heard & the guilty parties investigated & penalised. 0 Stars

This is by far the best clinic in Victoria, ALL the staff are very friendly, compassionate, and genuinely care about your animals health and wellbeing.
I have been coming too this practice for years... ever since my dogs reaction to Kristen on our very first visit :) he sat there and listened to every word she had too say... This was shocking to me as my dog usually hated all vets, he wouldnt let them near him... so for him to have this response too her was out of this world. I will not go anywhere else, I travel from Frankston for their service.

Such a wonderful team, Collin has been the MOST kind, through, patient and passionate vet (so many adjectives). He was the first vet to correctly diagnose an issue our dog has had ever since we adopted her last year. We're so glad we found him and hope that he will be Tweenie's vet for life. After years of being loyal customers of this vet we will not be returning. We were ripped off and when we tried to sort the issues out privately with the managing director Kristin Wolfe we were met with rudeness and no intention to even look into the over charges. While Ben is a great vet we will be using one of the other great equine vets on the peninsula. We suggest you do also.

Some of the vets here are good. Some are not. One has told me twice now for different reasons both times to have one of my horses put down. Once he has a growth on his hoof that another vet cut off and he was 100% ok and the other was he had string halt and he is now (due to another vet) 100% healthy. However that isn’t even the main issue with this clinic, the fact they over charge people and hope they never notice. I was lucky enough to show my friend the bill who questioned the charges. I bought it up with the clinic and all I got was laughing and a “we will change that”... no sorry, no nothing. If I hadn’t shown my friend they would have pocketed another $200 without a second though. Makes you wonder how many others aren’t as lucky to know. Lastest is I asked for someone to come look at a sheep, it was all too hard, now have another vet who was more than happy to. After years of being a loyal customer and tens of thousands of dollars spent here I won’t be back. If you wish to use them I suggest asking for Ben or Tim and most importantly check your bills.

Moved to Australia about a year ago and was hoping to find a vet I could work with, and do believe that I have found that with the Main Ridge staff. Have visited under 2 different vets, and both seemed like very honest, knowledgeable, easy going and down to earth individuals. Front desk and vet assistants also were very personable. Cost was reasonable as well.
