PET OWNERS BEWARE: (WILL BE PUTTING THIS ON SOCIAL MEDIA) Booked our dog in for a bath. 100 questions upon arrival about last worming and flea treatment, then had to prove myself by showing me flash cards of different brands. Felt very insulted like I was a liar. Then nearly 4 hours later after calling 3 times 'yes your dog is ready'. Arrived to find my dogs' happy spirit diminished and he was shaking. 'Oh he just has a bit of stress or just cold' They told me put him on the ground and they proceeded to give him 'treats' of which they did not ask permission as they are further required to do upon arrival. Unacceptable; I said its the last time. Never in 4 years did our dog have such an experience, also left in captivity until they were ready to douse him in water..lucky I kept calling. He was shaking in the car for the first time too. Poor thing still sitting now in front of a portable heater looking sad and absolutely filthy dirty.
1 star allows me to post this otherwise none. AGAIN BEWARE!

I cannot recommend this Veterinary clinic enough! They are caring, patient and no matter what they always make you and your fur baby feel special. They have very quickly become the family vet. They're good priced and their service & knowledge from Vets to staff members is second to none. Won't be going anywhere else !!

We had our cat Tiger who is 2 years old minded over Xmas New Years. I was told that they would give him a FREE health check. We do get Tiger seen by our vet every 6 months.

We had our cat Tiger who is 2 years old minded over Xmas New Years. I was told that they would give him a FREE health check. We do get Tiger seen by our vet every 6 months.
One hour after I dropped him off I get a call to say he has gingivitis and they would clean his teeth and give him an anaesthetic. Tiger is already stressed so I refused. Then Tara mentioned if they did not clean his teeth we may need to extract some. This emotional blackmail got me over the line.
We checked again and their Vet stated he did not need any extractions.
My advice to you is watch the UPSELL it seemed quite deliberate and focused on revenue. I would NOT take Tiger back again.

I recently had the great pleasure of completing my work experience here and I couldn’t have asked for a better clinic and team to work with. I learnt so much from everyone especially the main vets. I highly recommend all pet owners to bring their pets here as the staff take the utmost care to treat your furry friends. After calling my local vet when my dog was hit in the neck accidentally by a cricket bat and was in so much pain and to be told could I come in tomorrow. Calling Templestow vets now very distressed they also had no appointments available but made room for him to be seen and told me to come straight down. From the moment I got there I found caring, professional staff who treated my little dog and when I called a wk later to get some more pain medication as he was still in pain, I had the vet herself call me worried and to take him back in. He is now doing so well and I will never take my dogs to anyone else but this awesome healing place. Thank you

After so many disappointing vets and bad experiences, myself and my family will never go any where else! Best staff and vets!! Dr Apple did the best job with my little Chihuahua's Taco's operation and the clinic was kind enough to board him every day while I went to work through his recovery. And even though it was very sad to have my whippet Ellie put down last week, all the staff made a horrible thing much easier by being so kind and lovely. Even my auntie brings her dog to you now! AND you guys are VERY reasonably priced! LOVE Templestowe Vet <3

We have been going to this clinic for about 3 and a half years, all the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, professional and welcoming. They have always given great advice and helped accomodate our pets when we have needed to make a last minute appointment. Recently, one of my dogs has unfortunately had to undergo surgery for a knee injury. The staff were amazing; taking the time to explain everything to us, reassuring both us and our dog and keeping us up to date throughout the whole process. They took amazing care of her and the post-surgery care has been top notch. We really cannot speak highly enough of this clinic, you can tell that everyone who works there truly love their job and the animals that they work with. My husband and I have since moved from the local area but we continue to take our pets to this vet due to the exceptional care they recieve here.
We very much recommend the Templestowe Veterinary Clinic!

Great customer service! My dog went in for his routine dental procedure earlier this week and I couldn't be any more happier with how well all the staff treated my fur baby! From the minute I called to enquire how much they charged to clean my dogs teeth, to the minute I took him home they were kind, informative and understanding. Definitely good value for their service. Apart from just a clean, I was initially offered a free consult to check his teeth so they could provide with me an accurate price, free advice on home care afterwards, lots of free samples and even a second check up to see how his teeth were going today! Will definitely be back!

As well as owning two dogs and two cats I run a small business in pet care so need reliable 24 hour service to give me the peace of mind I need to care for all the routine and unexpected needs of numerous animals, in particular my client's pets should the need arise. Julian and his team are awesome and have never let me down plus they are so friendly and caring.

Money grabbers the like I've never seen before. They will charge you as much as possible as often as possible. I went in for a post op appointment with my puppy to have a quick look at her eye and they charge a full consultation fee. The customer service is good but they over explain and repeat things too much in order to justify charging you so much money. I will not be going back ever again!

A wonderful Vet Clinic! From day one of my Kitten Viva's first appointment into 'Templestowe Vet Clinic' we've always been treated to great service, nurses and veterinary doctors. I really and honestly feel assured that Viva is in great hands receiving the best care. On the 3rd February 2015, I took Viva for her Spading Operation, which I was worried about and concerned on how to care for her post operation as she is my first proper Pet. My stress was lowered once I was taken through the procedure information, plus have the stomach to watch a YouTube video about it, I was more comfortable for my Kitten to have the surgery with this fantastic team at the clinic who I would love to thank for always loving to treat Viva and provide assistance to myself whenever I notice something or have queries about Viva's cat habits and issues!

Can't recommend the Templestowe Vet Clinic highly enough. Julian and his team displayed the utmost professionalism, sensitivity and care while our cat was suffering from a terminal illness. Julian always clearly explained (with diagrams!) several options for potential medical procedures and the effects of any medication given to our cat. When we finally decided to put our cat to sleep, the care for her and consideration shown to us on the day was second to none. Thank you.

I am a client at the Templestowe Veterinary Clinic and have been before the clinic changed hands and wanted to say how impressed I am overall. The clinic looks great and the Vet and staff are very helpfull. I recently had my cat in there who was quite ill and now he is home doing tremendously well. I am very greatfull for all of their time and efforts for getting my cat back to good health. Can't thank you all enough and highly recommend you to all of my friends and anyone else possible

PET OWNERS BEWARE: (WILL BE PUTTING THIS ON SOCIAL MEDIA) Booked our dog in for a bath. 100 questions upon arrival about last worming and flea treatment, then had to prove myself by showing me flash cards of different brands. I highly recommend all pet owners to bring their pets here as the staff take the utmost care to treat your furry friends. After calling my local vet when my dog was hit in the neck accidentally by a cricket bat and was in so much pain and to be told could I come in tomorrow. Calling Templestow vets now very distressed they also had no appointments available but made room for him to be seen and told me to come straight down. From the moment I got there I found caring, professional staff who treated my little dog and when I called a wk later to get some more pain medication as he was still in pain, I had the vet herself call me worried and to take him back in. He is now doing so well and I will never take my dogs to anyone else but this awesome healing place. Thank you

After so many disappointing vets and bad experiences, myself and my family will never go any where else! Best staff and vets!! Dr Apple did the best job with my little Chihuahua's Taco's operation and the clinic was kind enough to board him every day while I went to work through his recovery. And even though it was very sad to have my whippet Ellie put down last week, all the staff made a horrible thing much easier by being so kind and lovely. Even my auntie brings her dog to you now! We have been going to this clinic for about 3 and a half years, all the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, professional and welcoming. They have always given great advice and helped accomodate our pets when we have needed to make a last minute appointment. Recently, one of my dogs has unfortunately had to undergo surgery for a knee injury. The staff were amazing; taking the time to explain everything to us, reassuring both us and our dog and keeping us up to date throughout the whole process. They took amazing care of her and the post-surgery care has been top notch. We really cannot speak highly enough of this clinic, you can tell that everyone who works there truly love their job and the animals that they work with. My husband and I have since moved from the local area but we continue to take our pets to this vet due to the exceptional care they recieve here.

Great customer service! My dog went in for his routine dental procedure earlier this week and I couldn't be any more happier with how well all the staff treated my fur baby! A wonderful Vet Clinic! From day one of my Kitten Viva's first appointment into 'Templestowe Vet Clinic' we've always been treated to great service, nurses and veterinary doctors. I really and honestly feel assured that Viva is in great hands receiving the best care. Can't recommend the Templestowe Vet Clinic highly enough. Julian and his team displayed the utmost professionalism, sensitivity and care while our cat was suffering from a terminal illness. I am a client at the Templestowe Veterinary Clinic and have been before the clinic changed hands and wanted to say how impressed I am overall. The clinic looks great and the Vet and staff are very helpfull. I recently had my cat in there who was quite ill and now he is home doing tremendously well. I am very greatfull for all of their time and efforts for getting my cat back to good health. Can't thank you all enough and highly recommend you to all of my friends and anyone else possible
