I took my cat to see Dr Hootan Shah as an emergency when he suddenly stopped eating. Not only was he kind enough to squeeze us in despite being fully booked but he was extremely thorough and caring. He even spent time patiently walking me through blood results and answering any questions I had. I left the appointment amazed at Dr Hootan Shah's passion and energy. My cat started to improve significantly within a day and has since recovered well. I will definitely visit Mitcham Pet Hospital again. Thank you!

Just wanted to let you know that Jac, my little dog is doing very well since she had her teeth cleaned by you recently. She doesn't like vets as she has a regular problem around her bottom area that has to be dealt with every annual checkup (she asked me not to go into specifics as she gets embarrassed by it. It is a necessary thing, but not pleasant). When I was telephoned to pick her up, I asked how she was, especially as she was shaking so much when I left her. I was told she was doing well, especially as one of the nurses, Sam, spent quite some time holding her until she calmed down and stopped trembling. Hopefully she has stored this cuddle away as a good vet experience for the next visit. Thank you so much for taking the time to not only give her teeth a good cleaning but also for reasurring her before and after the surgery.

simba was a completely happy and lively cat before he was taken to this vet. He was booked in to have his injections and to be shaved as his fur was all knotted and we like him to look handsome. During the surgery, he did not receive enough anesthetic therefore woke up halfway through the procedure. After a fight with the staff, the vet gave him far too much anesthetic, and simba has not been able to walk, eat, see anything, go to the toilet or have any sort of reaction. They still however sent him home and charged us the normal rate for the procedure. After he fell off the bench and got increasingly worse several hours after the procedure, we took him back to the vet. After 2 nights they still do not know what they have done to my cat. They told me that he has to come home as there will not be staff on a Sunday. When we picked him up he was worse than when he went in there and yet we were asked to pay for simba's stay. They care more about money then they do about the animals they take in. The treatment was appalling you could say it was abuse. A cat cannot go from a happy, playful animal to one that can't even take a step without falling over. It's disgusting and I will never be attending this clinic.

I took my cat to see Dr Hootan Shah as an emergency when he suddenly stopped eating. Not only was he kind enough to squeeze us in despite being fully booked but he was extremely thorough and caring. He even spent time patiently walking me through blood results and answering any questions I had. I left the appointment amazed at Dr Hootan Shah's passion and energy. My cat started to improve significantly within a day and has since recovered well. I will definitely visit Mitcham Pet Hospital again. Thank you!

Just wanted to let you know that Jac, my little dog is doing very well since she had her teeth cleaned by you recently. She doesn't like vets as she has a regular problem around her bottom area that has to be dealt with every annual checkup (she asked me not to go into specifics as she gets embarrassed by it. It is a necessary thing, but not pleasant). When I was telephoned to pick her up, I asked how she was, especially as she was shaking so much when I left her. I was told she was doing well, especially as one of the nurses, Sam, spent quite some time holding her until she calmed down and stopped trembling. Hopefully she has stored this cuddle away as a good vet experience for the next visit. Thank you so much for taking the time to not only give her teeth a good cleaning but also for reasurring her before and after the surgery.

simba was a completely happy and lively cat before he was taken to this vet. He was booked in to have his injections and to be shaved as his fur was all knotted and we like him to look handsome. During the surgery, he did not receive enough anesthetic therefore woke up halfway through the procedure. After a fight with the staff, the vet gave him far too much anesthetic, and simba has not been able to walk, eat, see anything, go to the toilet or have any sort of reaction. They still however sent him home and charged us the normal rate for the procedure. After he fell off the bench and got increasingly worse several hours after the procedure, we took him back to the vet. After 2 nights they still do not know what they have done to my cat. They told me that he has to come home as there will not be staff on a Sunday. When we picked him up he was worse than when he went in there and yet we were asked to pay for simba's stay. They care more about money then they do about the animals they take in. The treatment was appalling you could say it was abuse. A cat cannot go from a happy, playful animal to one that can't even take a step without falling over. It's disgusting and I will never be attending this clinic.

Worst vet I have ever been to! The staff were rude and unfriendly. When asking the vet questions she rolled her eyes at me. Very unhelpful and I will not be returning here again! Rowville have nice vets staff are friendly and caring! Hope this prompts others to write about their experiences here!
