Update: received a call from the vet center to explain that their process differs slightly from others in the way that they tattoo for a microchip as well. I appreciate them calling and explaining, I do think the microchip tattoo is bit unnecessary though as a scanner on their neck answers that question pretty quickly =) it was nice though to have the vet check up and make sure my cat was okay and explain their process to me.Read Less

My experience with Moe Veterinary Centre was quite pleasant, the staff were mostly proffessional and they were good with my rabbit (Lumos), yet the atmosphere felt very gloomy and my rabbit didn't appreciate going to the vets. None-the-less we were happy with the result after a check over. The shots didn't do very good to my bun, but that is not their fault. A problem is pricing, to desex a male rabbit it is 260$, which is about the ammount we already pay for things like food, cage, hay and more. Wasn't really pleased with the ammount when you can get it for 50$ in another country or vet most likely. :? Overall; Staff; 7/10. Animal Care; 6/10. Pricing; 4/10. Rabbit Care; 9/10. A great vet clinic if you want to sent your rabbits and/or cats there. Pricing is a bit too high but other than that the doctor we worked with was proffessional and nice to us. Read Less

Unfortunately, my experience with this Vet Service has not been positive. I call it as it is as I have been there 3 times and now have changed to the Old Sale Road Vet Services which was the best decision I made. Moe Vet Services or should I say Dr Catalina Castillo services were poor, impersonal and unprofessional. For example, when I took both of my dogs in after getting kennel cough she come across as being unsure of how long to give them their antibiotics, when I took 1 of my dogs back for a dental clean I got the best of feedback from the nurse at hand over, but when Dr Catalina Castillo spoke to me she claimed my dog woke up and that she had issues cleaning her teeth. Futher still when I was giving Dr Castillo the heads up on my dogs anxiety with injections I did say she may gnaw but wont bite, i got blamed for her bitting the work experience student. I have never come across such an insecure women who could not forward plan with two dogs in a consultation, plan the management of the dogs with two other people in the room to the point all it needed was a few snacks to calm her down. On the another matter, she informed me that it was not a good idea to continually express the anal glands as it could infect them but she failed to ask me how many times I had done this. Dr Castillo didnot even bother to ask me any questions on my dog in relation to this matter just kept making assumptions. AS i said, i didnot get her on a bad day, just a bad Vet Doctor who in my experience was not good at her job nor did she take the time to listen to what I had to say about my dogs. So I have jumped ship and gone to the Old Sale Road Vet Services with Dr Andrew Lewis in Newborough. In short she didnot take the time nor did she really care and I found she come across as negative. I call it as it is a Bad Vet Doctor not a Vet doctor on a bad day. Perhaps Dr Castillo you should pay more attention to your clients and take a genuine interest in looking after animals as this experience time and time again proved you done the exact opposite. I welcome any feedback as well after my post. Cheers. Read Less
