I did not get a nice feeling from this place. I have recently moved and needed a new vet and this place was recommended. I have an animal who has been on long term medication and the vet at this place told me that what I was doing was useless and that my animal was clearly in pain. He wasn't friendly towards me or my animal. The whole place seemed like it was a shambles and no one knew what they were doing.

Had my Dog de-sexed here yesterday. Highly recommend this practice. Friendly, caring and genuine staff. Phoned me after the procedure to confirm everything went well and gave me excellent written advice to take home. They are even open on a Sunday which means I don't have to take time off work! Thank you very much for looking after my Dog during and after her surgery.

I called the emergency number to get help for my injured and distressed cat (who was due to go to this vet the next morning about this injury) and was told there wasn't anything that could be done that night because the vet who answered had somewhere to be in 30 minutes. If you have any urgent after hours needs don't bother calling them.

The staff at Moonee Central Vet Clinic are fantastic. I have a staffie who is normally extremely nervous around vets however we have finally found a place where she is not only comfortable but even enjoys going there. The vets and assistants are so sweet and gentle with her that any of her assessments or treatments are completed without any agitation. This is extremely important to a dog owner who doesn't want to see their pet suffer through the anxiety of a medical assessment. My dog now leaps off her bed when I tell her we are going to see her favourite vet. She is all waggy tails and smiles from the time she gets there to the time she leaves. I have recommended this clinic to family and friends because of this.

I have nothing but great feedback for this clinic, my 12 year old dog Halo has terminal Osteo Sarcoma in his jaw and is part of a clinical trial at this clinic . The wonderful Vets and staff have cared for his every need during his ongoing treatment. They are sensitive to my feelings at such a difficult time and very down to earth with their approach . The welfare of my dog is primary and they are skilled in their field . Most importantly they are good people. They schedule his apointments in at short notice my dog is doing great with signifcant improvement in his condition . I recommend them highly to my family and friends.

Can't fault the service from them all.

Dr John Carter and the team at Moonee Central Vet saved my dogs life 18 months ago. Ben was 12 and touch and go. He had a hepatocellular adenoma hemorrhaging in the right lobe of his liver. Dr John performed surgery and removed 85% of the rhs of his liver. We didn't even know if he'd make it through the surgery. He did. Dr John text me 11.pm at night to tell me he drank water and that he was praying for him. He is not a man of many words but he is the vet you want operating on your dog. Ben will be 14 in November and he's happy and healthy.
Dr John has always been understanding and generous and allowed us to pay our accounts off putting the welfare of our pets paramount.
We have 6 pets and we wouldn't trust anyone else with them and that I know from experience

Purchased a kitten from top pets highpoint shopping centre. On approval from this vet the kitten was in good health. The kitten was sneezing when we purchased him. When we took the kitten to the vet the next day the vet examined him and said everything was fine, its just the dust she said, nothing to worry about. The papers that were given to us had no sticker of vaccination, they said the kitten was vaccinated. A few days later the kitten was very sick, we took him back to the vet and they said he has the cat flu. He gave us antibiotics for treatment. When I asked for confirmation he was vaccinated, they could not produce anything. I went to top pets to get owe money back and they completely denied they sold us the kitten. I will be calling the rspca on both of them. Looks like they both work together on scamming customers for money. Disgusting lying bastards, I hope you rot in hell.....

I had a very bad experience with this place. My dog had de-sexing and hernia repair , and I was told that he would not need any pain killers after the operation. Once I saw him after the procedure, I noticed that stitches are so tight , being a doctor myself. We had to rush back to the clinic at night because my dog was screaming in pain. I wandered why we were not given any pain killers from the beginning. I had my dog checked by another vet, and said that the stitches were so tight, that is causing him more pain. I had hard time last 2 weeks until the stitches were out.

I did not get a nice feeling from this place. I have recently moved and needed a new vet and this place was recommended. I have an animal who has been on long term medication and the vet at this place told me that what I was doing was useless and that my animal was clearly in pain. Phoned me after the procedure to confirm everything went well and gave me excellent written advice to take home. They are even open on a Sunday which means I don't have to take time off work! Thank you very much for looking after my Dog during and after her surgery.

I called the emergency number to get help for my injured and distressed cat (who was due to go to this vet the next morning about this injury) and was told there wasn't anything that could be done that night because the vet who answered had somewhere to be in 30 minutes. If you have any urgent after hours needs don't bother calling them.

The staff at Moonee Central Vet Clinic are fantastic. I have a staffie who is normally extremely nervous around vets however we have finally found a place where she is not only comfortable but even enjoys going there. The vets and assistants are so sweet and gentle with her that any of her assessments or treatments are completed without any agitation. This is extremely important to a dog owner who doesn't want to see their pet suffer through the anxiety of a medical assessment. I have nothing but great feedback for this clinic, my 12 year old dog Halo has terminal Osteo Sarcoma in his jaw and is part of a clinical trial at this clinic . The wonderful Vets and staff have cared for his every need during his ongoing treatment. They are sensitive to my feelings at such a difficult time and very down to earth with their approach .
