This is specialist surgery and advice with respect and kindness. They treated me and my beloved Red (greyhound) with understanding, compassion, and care, from the moment I first brought Red to them nearly a year ago. I understood what they were talking about when they explained the complexity of Red's broken leg and the options before me; and during his surgery and overnight stays, Red couldn't have been in better care. This week we are heartbroken because despite our best efforts Red ended up with bone cancer, but my second and final opinion was sought from South Paws, who I knew would tell me the truth, knowing I had Red's best interests and peace at heart. When Red was euthanized, it happened at South Paws, and I'm at peace that it did, because he had a dignified death just as they had given him a dignified life. Thank you for the beautiful flowers, for the advice about grief (the two Angelas were wonderful), for the suggestions about the cremation. We'll never forget our lovely big boy and all the joy he gave us, and I doubt we'll ever get over his death, but South Paws have made the journey bearable, and I feel lucky to have had them caring for our beloved family member.Read Less
