I would just like to express my gratitude for Adam, Victoria and the staff, I cannot thank you enough! They are absolutely amazing! My little pug is terrified of the vet, we usually have to sedate him just to get him in the door. We recently moved to the Mornington Peninsula, and we hadn't found a vet, what's more is when Archie fell and hurt his leg, we didn't have any way to calm him down for his vet visit, our neighbour recommended Mornington Vet and as we were desperate we just set off with Archie as is, worried he'd be too stressed to take in. When we got to the clinic, I waited outside with Archie so he wouldn't stress, Adam came out to us and introduced himself to me and most importantly Archie. He gave Archie a pat and scratch, then Archie LICKED him! Adam was even able to carry Archie in, and he didn't wriggle or cry at all. He stayed calm through the whole visit, even when Adam was touching his sore leg, Adam even got X-rays done while we waited for Archie in the reception room. I was so worried about my little boy and always dreaded taking him to the vet, but Adam was so patient and loving that I felt comfortable with him taking control and I just stood back, Archie was fine with this too! To all the staff at Mornington Vet clinic I would just like to say a huge thank you! It is always very stressful on the whole family when you have an injured pet and the kindness you showed towards me but especially my children was very heart warming. We were seen straight away and while I was with Vet Adam and our puppy Jake, the nurses were kind enough to take my two daughters on a little tour of the clinic showing them the new kittens that had just come in. It turned a stressful visit into something special that they still talk about and of course Jake has now made a full recovery. I can not thank you enough for the care and kindness you showed to our beloved pet and my children. Recommend this clinic to anyone looking for great friendly service with a personal touch! Lovely people at Mornington Vet Clinic. My dear 15 yr old whippet x suffered a stroke from which he would not recover in 2013 and no one could come to help us as it was a Sunday and long weekend. But dr. Adam & a nurse came to our house, where my friend was comfortable, after-hours to help him on his last day. It was the most horrible day of my life losing him, but it could have been so much worse if he had to be taken to a vet or suffer until the next day. Thank you.. NEVER AGAIN.. We went there for the first time to get a general health check on our dog on a Saturday morning. As we entered (after waiting a few minutes), the receptionist came out and let out a huge sigh, and just asked what the dogs name was - very rude.. she also just handed us a form to fill out that had all the wrong details already printed on it, I asked what I should do with the wrong details, and she gave me a horrible look and said 'just scratch it out and go over it..' My intention was to mention her disgusting customer service to the vet, but he was in such a rush to get us in and out, that I didnt feel very comfortable. He was a lot more polite, but barely even did anything to our dog and we were on our way.. $56 later.. torch in the eyes, ears, and checked his heartbeat.. I could have given the same care at home.. My suggestion to the team: if working on a Saturday is so difficult for you, and you cant be bothered giving basic customer service or proper care, then dont open! They will not get my business again, I only changed from Main Ridge for geographical reasons, but I will be making the extra drive from now on..Read Less
