I was reading the earlier bad reviews and I can only say this vet and his staff have been wonderful to us. They are very reasonably priced especially compared to other vets in the area. I have had my 16 yo dog Ruby operated on twice by Adam at this clinic in the last 5 months & l have been very happy with the treatment. Adam was not rude or arrogant the staff there have been wonderful & are very caring to all animals l understand that like anything in life things can go wrong with medicine & the reactions they may have to it. Absolutely amazing to us when our dog went missing. They were great to my mum who was an absolute wreck. They put up pictures for us and called the other local vets for us and kept in touch calling as soon as she was found. Our dog loves going to them and Adam and the nurses were fabulous with her and gave her lots of cuddles and combing her and grooming her nails as one got torn before she was handed in after the thunderstorms. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO ADAM FOR ALMOST A YEAR OR SO FOR MY 2 ANIMALS A DOG AND CAT. I have NEVER experienced a problem with any of them. My cat was recently run over by a car and we managed to save its life by taking it to DR.ADAM. I still cant thank him enough for everything he has done. MY CAT IS BETTER THAN EVER AND IS RUNNING AROUND THE HOUSE LIKE NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. I DEFINITELY THINK THAT ADAMS VET IS LIKE NO OTHER COMPARED TO THE VETS IN PLACE LIKE TOORAK. HE ALSO DOESN'T CHARGE CLIENTS AN EXPENSIVE FEE WHEREAS THE OTHER VETS DO. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS VET CLINIC ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Read Less

I can not think highly enough of both nurses who are so kind and do everything in thier power to make my family feel reassured and happy. Same goes for the vet. We have been going to Adam for many years. We have had reservations several times but persisted. However - no more! Our cat had an infection requiring a drip. Infection cleared. Infection of leg where drip was inserted (by his nurse at his rates) took another three weeks to come good!!!! Included many many hassles with “bucket” collar and trying to keep an active cat indoors. At about same time (unrelated to cat) one of our chooks became infected. Treatment included initial injection plus 5 more daily injections by us (which was not a problem), followed by a week of oral antibiotics. We buried her yesterday........ This was after we were told to be there at 2.30 with euthanasia being a known possibility. An hour and ten minutes later we got to see Adam. Oh yes - the nice sign about the candle..... nothing happened! Perhaps doesn’t apply to chooks? In a nutshell, NO we can not recommend Adam - enough! Read Less

This vet is not knowledgeable in bunnies AT ALL!!!!! We took our bunny there and the vet was so sure it was an ear infection and said he needed a shot. We were charged for the shot and consultation, which we were happy to pay for. A week later, the bunny was still not better so we had gone back to the vet and informed them. The vet wanted to charge us again AND to top it off, the vet said THEY ARE NOT SURE WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE BUNNY. They wanted to make us pay more and said to try more medication (a top up they called it - as if they were a vehicle), but we still have to pay all over again (even though they were SURE it was an ear infection and were SURE the first medication would work. Do not trust this vet over your pets life. Lost our beloved dog 5 days after visiting Adam and he ensured us that she was going to be okay. Wrong choice of medication was given and poor choice of food was instructed!! Very very big mistake coming here :( Read Less

We were regulars at the vet for many years until our dog had puppies. After passing 10 puppies my dog continued to have contractions with green discharge leaking out for hours which did not seem right. We called Adam and I explained what was happening. He said it was all completely normal and the green discharge was nothing to worry about and will stop in a few days once she passes everything out. My dog continued to have contractions into the night and was extremely tense. We decided to take her to the 24/7 Hallam vet in which the first person we spoke to said the discharge was abnormal and if left untreated, fatal. They took her for a x-ray and turned out three more puppies were inside. I had to leave her there over night and they helped her pass the remaining three which had died. iam a shamed to give this vet one star he don't deserve it. don't trust this vet adam alseify with your pets life. this is the worst vet clinic and vet i have ever been too. i took my dog there  just for a check up being first pregnancy then week later took her back for c-section as she wasn't showing signs of contradictions during labour mind you she is a 3 year old chihuahua. when i went back adam the vet we seen wasn't anywhere is sight when we picked her and her 4 puppies up which i thought was very odd being vet and major surgery with 4 tiny puppies within hours of collecting her for him she become very ill due to this she was unable to produce milk to feed puppies. we did everything we could up every 2 hours feeding them to make sure they all served but after 2 days we lost 1 puppy we called adam to put male puppy to sleep as he was not doing the best and he said no deal with it yourself. we also told he how bad the mother was doing and he didn't have any concern in the world about her health. if i didn't rush her to the aec when i did she would be dead. 5 day after we lost all puppies due to them not get there mothers milk. she was in and out over aec and different vet clinic for 2 months saving her life. she received grade 4 thermal burns on both side of her from being left on heat mat for to long during surgery under no circumstances should any animal be put through such neglecte from a vet and the malpractice he has showen in regards to this matter saying i did this to her myself makes me so ropable yet justice will provale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Matthew Orsini; I wonder why you trying to smear our clinic , clearly because we have refused to refund the medication we have prescribed to your pet. the medicine has been used ; and the guidelines for drugs which has been used It can Not be returned. You have threaten us that if we do not return the drug you will bad mouth the clinic. in your first visit to the clinic , your rabbit did not show clear symptoms ( might be at the incubation period of the disease) also your rabbit had no Caiici virus vaccination , there are diseases we are un-able to cure - and we did not gave you the medication (just in case) rather than to prevent secondary bacterial infection as your rabbit was down and low in immunity due to possible calici or Myxomatosis. And you were not prepared to spend $$$ on your rabbit. I am disgusted by your attitude and comment's despite the fact we have not charged you any revisit fees - we have treated hundreds of rabbits in the past . Poor knowledge of rabbits We saw vet Adam who gave our rabbit a brief and unknowledgeable 2-minute look-over (wasn€t interested in the symptoms that our other rabbit had before dying a few days earlier and we seemed to know more about rabbits and the virus than he did) and concluded that €the rabbit seems fine€ then charged us a full €exotic animal consultation€ fee. One week later when the rabbit showed symptoms, Adam agreed to see our rabbit again without charging a further consultation fee, instead charging us for a course of antibiotics €just to be sure€, sadly our pet died later that evening and we were left feeling disappointed in the service we received. This vet botched our cat's euthanasia - he didn't die but the Vet poked him in the eye to show he couldn't feel anything. He also asked us, while our young kids were in the room and before we'd even told him of our decision, what we wanted to do with 'the body'. He was cold and unfeeling. As we are moving into a retirement village apartment no animals allowed we had to surrender our very much loved COCO who was my wife's shadow we received a call after only 4 days to be told she was wondering the streets of Keilor so much for the protection of the animal shelter they sent he to,and on top of that they have posted on there site that she has come from an abusive owner where she was neglected and had a terrible start in life and deserves a second chance in life. NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH SHE HAS COME FROM A LOVING HOME AND AS FORMENTIONED SHE WAS MY WIFES SHADOW 24/7 We have cried everyday since we surrendered her .and how dare you have added to our grief by sending our dog with such lies about us we are deeply distressed by this and would certainly not recommend going to this Clinic.
