Bought my pet here for a check up and vaccination then claimed my pet insurance through GapOnly and was told there was no outstanding amount to pay. Two weeks later I get a call saying I owe $55 to be paid immediately and if not then a debt collector would be chasing me for the money. What kind of business is this? I was told they went out of their way to “fit me in” as they were very busy and I’ve never been to them before. I’d booked online with plenty of available appointments and been to other Greencross Vets. The Practice Manager was very rude on the phone and not understanding at all that I needed time to contact my pet insurance to confirm this. I won’t be bringing my pets here in the future.

Greencross Nth Ringwood are just amazing! Constantly making us feel welcome from the moment Diesel and I step through the door. From the vet nurses/reception staff to the Vet's I cannot fault this clinic.
With Diesel contact skin issues they are constantly giving us new options and things to try and I think we've finally found something that works, yay!

I felt like they were trying to rip me off. They tried to scare us into doing extra testing on our dog and buying pet insurance through them. They didn't even give us an indication of how much everything would cost and charged us excessive prices for things that only took a minute or two. Never going back

I was not impressed by this vet. We went here to utilise our 'free' check-up which was issued from pet barn. Over the phone, they advised that the rabbit should have a vaccination which was fine and p...
I was not impressed by this vet. We went here to utilise our 'free' check-up which was issued from pet barn. Over the phone, they advised that the rabbit should have a vaccination which was fine and provided me with a cost of about $70 in total when the free check-up voucher was also used.
The rabbit was given a clean bill of health and the vaccination. When paying for the appointment they advised that they would not process the voucher if the rabbit had also had the vaccination and encouraged me to use the voucher another time which was disappointing.
The vet did not provide any information about side effects of the vaccination. So when the rabbit developed an allergic reaction to the vaccine, I didn't know what was wrong. He also developed teary eyes which I have found out is due to gum disease and teeth abnormalities that the vet had over looked.
I would recommend using an alternative vet.

Absolutely recommend the Green Cross Vets in Ringwood North! I have my kittens signed up with Healthy Pets Plus and my kittens have all received the best care! From vaccinations to desexing this Vet Clinic is awesome! I have had no issues and love the hospitality when you walk in as well

The experience we have had with this vet is one of utter disappointment. We brought our dog in with what we have now discovered is a bacterial issue which the vet provided antibiotics for. After two weeks we brought him back as it had not improved at all and he was prescribed more antibiotics and told he would require them for 6 weeks.
After receiving only two weeks of medication we kept running out and going back for more at which point we were told we had to bring him in so he could be vaccinated before they would provide more. This is even though he could not be vaccinated until he was healthy.
It became evident this vet is more about making money than the care of animals so i changed vets. After going to the new vet we were quickly informed that treatment provided was completely inadequate and what he has is quite contagious. This if which would have been great to know so we could have kept him clear of our other pets.
I highly recommend using the services of any other vet as what we have received was nothing short of incompetence.

Bought my pet here for a check up and vaccination then claimed my pet insurance through GapOnly and was told there was no outstanding amount to pay. Two weeks later I get a call saying I owe $55 to be paid immediately and if not then a debt collector would be chasing me for the money. What kind of business is this? I felt like they were trying to rip me off. They tried to scare us into doing extra testing on our dog and buying pet insurance through them. They didn't even give us an indication of how much everything would cost and charged us excessive prices for things that only took a minute or two. Never going back
