Absolutely horrified. Dropped my pup off at 9am as requested. She was sedated hours before surgery was commenced. Asked the vet reason for this… was she anxious etc? No this is just routine practice for them apparently. Surgery was substantially delayed. Not even a phone call to let us know what was happening. Very distressing.

Great vets, nurses and staff. I'm so glad I've finally found a vet that seems to genuinely care about the animals. Where most vets these days seem to be about finding conditions to upsell expensive foods or whatever, these guys put the critters first. Incredibly helpful and able to explain everything in understandable detail. I won't be going to any other vet from now on.

on my first visit i was treated so well.. The vet who tended to my ill cat never once pushed me to make a hasty decision. every thing was in the best interest of the animal and not their pockets...

My dog had a case of gastro I rang up the clinic for some advice and spoke to a lovely nurse that gave me some great information on how to look after him and suggested I bring him in to see the vet. I saw Dr. Tania who was fantastic, extremely gentle and caring for my animal he had to stay in overnight, they were prompt and thorough with updating me on how my baby was going and made sure I understood everything they were doing. I'm so pleased with the experience I had there I won't go anywhere else. It's lovely to see the vets and nurses care for my animal as if it were their own :)

They said to bring him in, in an hour, then they rang back and said to bring him in earlier as there was a Vet available.

First visited a few weeks ago when my dog was sick on a Sunday after getting into the rubbish bin the previous night. Michelle the vet was fantastic, very gentle with my somewhat anxious dog and putting both of us at ease. Hugo is now fully recovered & I've been back for vaccinations for him & my cat which was an equally easy experience & to buy worm products. Reasonable prices, nice staff, always busy so they must be doing something right.

I have never had a negative experience with Seaford Vet Hospital, I have been treated with warmth and respect from both staff and vets, even with a rambunctious young Staffy who suffers from 'I must show everyone my love and kisses' syndrome. His neutering was done very neatly with no postoperative complications, he was still bright and bubbly when he came home and within 48 hours you wouldn't have even known he had just undergone a procedure. I picked up a simple, natural gel for his occasional skin irritation on the advice of the vet and have seen immense improvements there as well. Can't rate them highly enough, and Lester and I will be patients for life :)

The Vet Surgeon recognized that the wound was in an awkward spot but still attempted to clamp it w/o any form of anaesthetics. The dog was screaming its head off while I had to to assist in holding her down.
-"That didn't go to well...", the Vet surgeon said after inflicting unnecessary pain with nothing to show for it.
Not impressed.
Now, I'd only go there to get Advocate and worming.

Vet said she was okay must have a virus!!
Three days later and $172 for visit and $45 for Antibiotics...

Talk about a misdiagnosis
Plus the staff there are very rude.

Some years ago I took my pet dog to be spayed there. On picking her up after the operation I could hear her scream as I got out of the car. I recognized her wailing. When I asked the elderly vet why she wasn't given a sedative for pain, the vet told me, " ... that would have been more expensive." I was shocked and sickened at that reply and had to insist that she be given some sort of medication (e.g., injection) before I left with her. Now I go to Patterson Lakes ... thank God for caring vets and staff there.

A lovely young receptionist served me this afternoon. Very friendly and attractive. I was extremely 'put off' by her talking to me, the whole time with her mouth open, chewing gum! Extremely unprofessional!

on my first visit i was treated so well.. The vet who tended to my ill cat never once pushed me to make a hasty decision. every thing was in the best interest of the animal and not their pockets...

My dog had a case of gastro I rang up the clinic for some advice and spoke to a lovely nurse that gave me some great information on how to look after him and suggested I bring him in to see the vet. I saw Dr. Tania who was fantastic, extremely gentle and caring for my animal he had to stay in overnight, they were prompt and thorough with updating me on how my baby was going and made sure I understood everything they were doing. I'm so pleased with the experience I had there I won't go anywhere else. It's lovely to see the vets and nurses care for my animal as if it were their own :)

They said to bring him in, in an hour, then they rang back and said to bring him in earlier as there was a Vet available.

First visited a few weeks ago when my dog was sick on a Sunday after getting into the rubbish bin the previous night. Michelle the vet was fantastic, very gentle with my somewhat anxious dog and putting both of us at ease. Hugo is now fully recovered & I've been back for vaccinations for him & my cat which was an equally easy experience & to buy worm products. Reasonable prices, nice staff, always busy so they must be doing something right.

I have never had a negative experience with Seaford Vet Hospital, I have been treated with warmth and respect from both staff and vets, even with a rambunctious young Staffy who suffers from 'I must show everyone my love and kisses' syndrome. His neutering was done very neatly with no postoperative complications, he was still bright and bubbly when he came home and within 48 hours you wouldn't have even known he had just undergone a procedure. I picked up a simple, natural gel for his occasional skin irritation on the advice of the vet and have seen immense improvements there as well. Can't rate them highly enough, and Lester and I will be patients for life :)

The Vet Surgeon recognized that the wound was in an awkward spot but still attempted to clamp it w/o any form of anaesthetics. The dog was screaming its head off ...

The Vet Surgeon recognized that the wound was in an awkward spot but still attempted to clamp it w/o any form of anaesthetics. The dog was screaming its head off while I had to to assist in holding her down.
-"That didn't go to well...", the Vet surgeon said after inflicting unnecessary pain with nothing to show for it.
Not impressed.
Now, I'd only go there to get Advocate and worming.

Incompetent - Took my parents dog there last week as she was collapsing and urinating and in pain.
Vet said she was okay must have a virus!!
Three days later and $172 for visit and $45 for Antibiotics...

Three days later and $172 for visit and $45 for Antibiotics she was "DEAD"
Talk about a misdiagnosis
Plus the staff there are very rude.

Some years ago I took my pet dog to be spayed there. On picking her up after the operation I could hear her scream as I got out of the car. I recognized her wailing. When I asked the elderly vet why she wasn't given a sedative for pain, the vet told me, " ... that would have been more expensive." I was shocked and sickened at that reply and had to insist that she be given some sort of medication (e.g., injection) before I left with her. Now I go to Patterson Lakes ... thank God for caring vets and staff there.
