They charge after a certain time (15 minutes) double price for consult without warning. My dog has had skin issues and it took around 6 visits for them to refer me to specialist clinic (MVSC in glen waverley) which wouldve saved me more time and money. I now exclusively visit specialist clinic and the professionalism I have experienced is a lot higher than Sandown (especially with regards to quality customer service at admin and also with regarss to keeping a record of my dogs past visits..Sandown vet are so bad at bringing back past visits as their admin is sloppy regarding finding emails).

I found the vet very knowledgeable and switched on as to what my dog's issue was, without hundreds of dollars on tests, as all the 3 other vets wanted to do that I had taken her to. This place knows...
I found the vet very knowledgeable and switched on as to what my dog's issue was, without hundreds of dollars on tests, as all the 3 other vets wanted to do that I had taken her to. This place knows their stuff highly recommend taking your dog here. Brilliant staff and service.😊☺

Best vet in Melbourne. Thorough, considerate, reasonably priced and all staff are honest, respectful and reputable. Was recommended to go here from a friend who knows them through the greyhound racing industry but they are fantastic with pets too! Highly recommended.

My two boys, greyhound brothers, Buddy and Leo are given the very best service for all their health needs with lots of TLC. They are now both 10 years old and we have been taking the boys to Sandown Vet Clinic from the first day we adopted them. Would not think of taking my two precious boys to any other vet. Sandown Vet Clinic for my boys.

Alistair was able to help with our little whippet baby. We'd been to other vets who had no idea what was wrong with her and just kept telling us "Thats not normal". He helped us to understand what was wrong and gave us ways to help control her issue. Very affordable too!

I'm so glad that I have found Sandown vet clinic. The reception staff are polite and professional and have gone above and beyond, when needed. Dr Alistair Smith is very knowledgeable and kind and does a thorough job each visit. As a Delta therapy dog volunteer, Dr Smith has been supportive and helpful. I give this vet clinic 100% satisfaction rating and I am so grateful to have them care for my pet family. Thank SVC, you rock

They charge after a certain time (15 minutes) double price for consult without warning. My dog has had skin issues and it took around 6 visits for them to refer me to specialist clinic (MVSC in glen waverley) which wouldve saved me more time and money.
