Iam annoyed about the lasted reviews about the Yarrambat Vet Clinic. I live in Whittlesea & drive past my local vet clinic to take my dogs to the lovely caring people in Yarrambat. Not quite sure how anyone can be unhappy about this amazing Vet Clinic. Maybe the negative people should take a look at themselves or possibly go somewhere else instead of complaining. Read Less

Incompetent Veterinarian care, even worse customer service. (Hi Jackie, thanks for the note. I'll pass on further talks -- or "service" -- from your office or employees. I definitely don't want to make the same mistake as the poor bugger -- a year ago, according to the comments below -- whose dog your Vets ended up blinding and then treating poorly when it had a fatal disease. I have been visiting this vet for quite a while. I found Jason Wong to be very kind, friendly and professional. Very informative and a really lovely person. I would like to keep seeing him as he was wonderful. Certain ladies on reception will give you a greeting and a smile while others dont bother. Its a shame as a greeting with a smile and hello makes all the difference. A big thankyou to Jason. People would come back to such an amazing vet! Read Less

Jason wong was incredibly friendly and nurturing. I would definitely go back to him. The receptionist (brunette) sorry don't know her name was very unfriendly and not approachable at all. I smiled at her when I first walked in and received nothing in return other than a sour look face. There was a blonde receptionist who was very friendly and kind so next time I'll deal with her when I first walk in. First impressions make a lasting one. Read Less

The Vet Surgery Yarrambat have been taking care of my dogs for years. Everyone there is lovely, the vets are highly skilled and knowledgeable, and they clearly care about the animals. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Read Less

AVOID THIS VETERINARY HOSPITAL IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMALS. In only three years, I had far too many negative experiences. One of the vets at this place -- a vet that has worked there for some time -- MIS-diagnosed my dog twice, nearly killing him the second time. After another vet, at the same hospital, took care of him properly, and continued to do so for a while,I thought all was well. But even THAT vet turned out to be more self-involved and less concerned for animals that needed treating. Later, ONE of the Vets managed to have a syringe and needle explode whilst administering an inoculation! Worse, when my dog showed signs of genetic blood pressure, no one -- not even the one good vet -- ever checked his blood pressure until AFTER he had lost sight in one eye! Finally, when he was older, he developed a rare form of carcinoma but in the initial stages I was told -- by one of the OWNERS of this hospital -- only that levels were "high" when a blood test came back (far more competent, and even younger, vets in Bundoora immediately stated his readings were "off the charts"). Even worse, I finally went to Bundoora because when my beloved dog was in the middle of "treatment" for his suffering, THIS hospital couldn't make time to see him again when things suddenly got worse. (And if ALL of that doesn't turn you away, at least half of the receptionists/nurses are inordinately rude, and one often must wait 20 minutes or more, even with appointments -- Bundoora, even though it is a 24 emergency hospital, never kept us waiting. And ALL of their staff was competent and helpful. Which was a balm, given that my dog was in pain and suffering. IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMLAS, AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COSTS. Read Less
