My dogs have an annoying skin allergy, and I’ve tried many remedies to get it to go away. I could not be happier with the vets at Baldivis Vet Hospital. They found a solution, (it’s a grass issue, And we live on a farm, so will be around on and off ), they changed the food I was giving the girls and administered medication. We drove all the way down from Broome to see Dr Stephen and were not disappointed he walked us through the procedure and made us feel at ease, we knew he was is the very best of hands and were updated as to when he went in and came out of surgery and was called the next morning with updates of his night, just had our follow up and would highly recommend these guys their love and care for my dog was second to none. Would strongly recommend not taking your pet to this practice. I’ve had a few bad experiences and two awful experiences here. My dog was left sedated in the care of someone unqualified as the vet doing his procedure was needed mid way through. The wound disinfectant they were using ended up running into, and completely burning off the top layer of my dogs eye. Both the vet and vet nurse failed to notice the chemical burns and I was unaware until I took him home and saw his eye peeling. Never got an apology from the vet or vet nurse, and the practice manager couldn’t have cared less. They also failed to diagnose a very obvious problem with my dog. Told the vet all his symptoms that pointed clearly to Cushings Disease, but the vet just suggested we have him desexed (at 14 years old whilst having no related problems). 8 months later went back and saw a different vet about the same symptoms, she pulled up the exact same blood test results from the visit 8months prior and straight away told me that it looked like Cushing Disease. The first vet completely overlooked this and he went 8 months untreated due to her not caring to read his results. Read Less

What a lovely group of staff, clean facilities and professional service. I’ve gone in twice for emergencies and while it was a bit more expensive than what might have been expected it WAS after hours! Going on with a sad pup tail between its legs and coming out seeing that she felt so much better was worth every cent! Staff was friendly and felt that they were more thorough than other places I have been to, looking into things that we mentioned we have noticed, we had 2 dogs examined with some tests done both had injections and cost about 200, still cheaper than some places we have been to. Very happy with the care and tests that were done to make sure our dogs were healthy, nice big waiting room, clean exame rooms. Short wait time for our appointment. Money hungry and unprofessional, my dog was in pain and the cost for me just to walk in the door was $200,then the xray $600 and then the quote for surgery was $6000 plus, at which there was small chance of success so i choose to put him down, The vets requested that i pay up front before i could put him down at which i did, next day got 3 quotes from 3 different vets ranging from $2500 to $4000 for surgery. If your after a vet that cares about the animals and not just money go elsewhere! Read Less

New years eve 2017 my little dog was badly attacked by another big dog. We took him to baldivis pet hospital where he was immediately taken in & cared for. Surgery was performed & I was advised by phone all went well and how dangerously close we came to lose him. He stayed overnight. What a beautiful team of people that helped our dogs Misziie and Cassie, they were poisoned on Boxing Day in 2016 and were very sick. Unfortunately Misziie didn't make it as her body couldn't take the poison and she has to be put to sleep. After much love and tenderness Cassie made a full recovery and we are so happy to have her home now. Wont be coming back. First ever visit and i was disgusted! Had my kitten flead and wormed, they were suppose to apply it in the middle of her shoulds howeverapplied it to the side of her neck instead where she was able to lick it. Called to see if this was a concern after realising and was told that all i could do was monitor her and make sure theres no signs of twitches/seizures etc.. Like it was jothing to worry about? They then warned me that if she was brought back in then there would be additional fees..AFTER PAYING $106 for a vaccination?? Read Less

I've been using Baldivis Vet Hospital for over 10 years. My dog, Walter and my horses, Ruby and Dance are treated extremely well by the kind nurses and vets. Walter is a rescue dog and is very nervous with strangers, however the very nice vets at Baldivis Vet seem to get on with him. He has is nails, vaccinations and teeth cleaned on a regular basis. The nurses great him when he comes in and they are very kind. The horse vet, Dr Les and Dr Rob come out to see Ruby and Dance at my farm in Oakford and they are on time and very helpful. Ruby has coliced a couple of times and they got her up and going again. Dr Rob has bred Dance for a couple of years now and we have had a couple of lovely foals. I feel very confident recommending Baldivis Vet Hospital, there care and facilities make taking my fur babies to the vet an enjoyable experience. Read Less

Amazing service. They went over and above to save both my animals. Gave me options on how much or little I wanted then to do as far as tests and treatments. I don't trust anyone else with my pet's now. I know when my pet's have stayed overnight they get pats and cuddles and heat bags under their blankets in winter. The Baldivis Vet Hospital has been around for ages.  In the 5 years we've been in Baldivis we've always been going to our usual vet in Booragoon.Our experience is a positive one.  Staff are extremely friendly and love to talk to the animals and since it's a dedicated pet hospital it's available 24/7.It was great to have dedicated animal rooms while waiting (I'm sure our cat Melody appreciated it too).  Professional service and your pets are in very capable hands.Highly recommended.
