I am most appreciative of the thoughtfulness and kindness of veterinary nurses Lindsay and Geraldine. Dr Chris Cooper receives many thanks for his patience and thoughtfulness. I feel he was thorough however he also did not attempt to over service, an issue I have experienced at a different practice.
Other staff at Bassendean Vets may deliver the same high standard of care but I have not actually dealt with them.

They really hurt my dog when they gave him an exam. He’s a small dog and I wouldn’t take him there again. Two different vets on two occasions so it wasn’t just a once off incident. Never had any issues at other vet clinics before or since.

Very impressed. Our dog needed surgery on her eye and this vet was very helpful. We have had some shocking experiences in the past so this was a nice change. All the costs were explained up front and were very reasonable. I also felt there was no unnecessary charges or extra medication that wasn't needed. This is now our vet for all our future needs.

my vet for 20 years and I just found out the hard way that it was never about the dogs but the $$$$$$$$$$! I have lost the old dying dog (17 yrs) thanks to them. Never ring the council (Baysie) where the dog was found but sent it to his death in Como. this vet had looked after this dog health, operated on it few time, etc... on this same dog for 17 years. Thanks you so much for that vet.....

We have had number of positive experiences with bassendean vet. Late in 2014 we had an emergency (dog ate something at the park, probably snail pellets) and the vet saw us straight away (many thank you's to the people who were waiting and were just concerned about our dog, not our 'jumping the queue'). We came back and paid the next day without a hassle. And the vet and staff were marvellous.
We now go there regularly (previous vet's changed hands and was much further away) and are impressed with their vets and staff.

I would like firstly to say a HUGE thank you to the team at Bassendean Veterinary Hospital. They are the most caring and loving people I have ever met. They have taken care of our beloved little dog 'Max' for the past 11 years. Sadly we had to take our precious boy to another vet early hours in the morning on 26th March 2013 after he suffered a stroke. We decided that with him being 17 years old, it was time for him to go. A horrible decision to have to make, I really would have prefered to take him to Bassendean Vets for this to happen, but unfortunatley it couldn't wait. The team at Bassendean Vet are the most professional and caring team, not only do they care about the animal they care about the owner and make sure that you understand what is happening to your pet. I would highly recommend anyone who loves their pet/s to take them to Bassendean Vets.

They are always happy to provide advice over the phone and have allowed me to have an account as and when required. They love and genuinely care for the animals that come in to their surgery. I am most appreciative of the thoughtfulness and kindness of veterinary nurses Lindsay and Geraldine. Dr Chris Cooper receives many thanks for his patience and thoughtfulness. I feel he was thorough however he also did not attempt to over service, an issue I have experienced at a different practice.

Very impressed. Our dog needed surgery on her eye and this vet was very helpful. We have had some shocking experiences in the past so this was a nice change. All the costs were explained up front and were very reasonable. I also felt there was no unnecessary charges or extra medication that wasn't needed. This is now our vet for all our future needs.

my vet for 20 years and I just found out the hard way that it was never about the dogs but the $$$$$$$$$$! I have lost the old dying dog (17 yrs) thanks to them. Never ring the council (Baysie) where the dog was found but sent it to his death in Como. this vet had looked after this dog health, operated on it few time, etc... on this same dog for 17 years. We have had number of positive experiences with bassendean vet. Late in 2014 we had an emergency (dog ate something at the park, probably snail pellets) and the vet saw us straight away (many thank you's to the people who were waiting and were just concerned about our dog, not our 'jumping the queue'). We came back and paid the next day without a hassle. And the vet and staff were marvellous.
We now go there regularly (previous vet's changed hands and was much further away) and are impressed with their vets and staff.
