Very Caring professional practice. You can tell when staff are passionate about their jobs and the little creatures that visit it. I have had to call for advice over the phone and they where very helpful and even called up to check up on our little dog the following day. With every dealing with this vet I was reassured and our dog was well taken care of. Not the cheapest Vet but the service/staff are worth the extra for peace of mind. Read Less

We changed to Bedford-Dianella Vet Centre after using another vet once. Our pup Harry needed treatment after being hit by a car. The assessment, treatment and aftercare were FANTASTIC. I requested a quote upfront and it was very reasonable. (prior we had been ripped off at a vet in Bayswater). I have been bringing my cats, dog, chooks etc here for over 17 years and although management has changed over that time, the excellent care has not. We are never railroaded into treatment and are always kept fully informed in good times and bad and really appreciate the compassion shown when we have to say goodbye (only twice thankfully). Went there for the first (and last) time to vaccinate my lab. The c5 was scheduled for that appointment during which I was told that another vaccination just two weeks later and yearly vaccinations when adult were MANDATORY. Discovered later on that my lab was given a c6 so no third vaccination is needed. It really looked like a royal Canine seminary instead of a (expensive) vet check. Vets here are nice but will not be bringing my guinea pigs back here. One of my piggies had a fall and broke his front teeth. After a few days his front teeth started growing back but I noticed he was not eating much and seemed to struggle to chew as if something was occluding his throat. Brought him here and vet said he seemed quite healthy and just that his bowels were sluggish. She reassured me it was nothing urgent or dire but within 24 hours he was shaking and terminal and we lost him the day after. Was disappointed she did not have tools to examine his molars and merely looked at his front teeth from an awkward angle. She also gave him a bowel stimulant which made him want to eat but was unable to with possible dental malocclusion. I expected more of a vet who is listed as experienced with small animals. Another one of my guinea pigs had the same later on and was successfully treated with surgery elsewhere. Read Less

Very happy with this Veterinary Clinic. Louise there is currently doing an awesome job looking after my Rexy who has a nasty case of Cystitis. Louise is keeping me updated on progress and has been explaining what is being done every step of the way which has allayed my worries. Feel very comfortable that my cat is getting the very best care possible. All the staff I have met there are helpful, caring and friendly and I feel that I am getting excellent advice for my pets wellbeing based on a holistic and balanced approach. I am very pleased with the way Pedro is looked after and Louise was very intuitive when Pedro was unwell recently and averted the potential possibility of me losing him. Bedford-Dianella Vet Centre combines caring and compassion with some some very sensible attitudes and ideals. The staff are true animal lovers and this really comes across in the way they interact and care for all the pets that come into the surgery.One of their philosophies is that prevention is better than cure and how true that is! I'd rather take a beloved pup for a once a year dental check up than have them suddenly need surgery.But if animals do need surgery, this vet can provide that too. They're actually a vet hospital and have an operating theatre, on-site laboratory and radiological and dental facilities.The waiting room is very spacious - a very good thing because you never know when your pet is going to have a very public personality clash with another dog, cat, goldfish or any other creature who's in there. And, let's face it, pets don't usually keep feelings of hostility to themselves. My dog certainly never did. If he loved you, you 100% knew. But, if he thought you might do something untoward; he'd let you know about that too, usually not in a quiet manner.But, back to the vets. They're great and they can be trusted to care for and look after domestic (they probably don't want any lions in here) pets of all varieties. Read Less
