They have looked after our cats for many years with great care and expertise. When our cat possum was ailing with cancer one of the vets visited us nightly on her way home to care for her. Cannot recommend them high enough. 200 stars! Our most recent interaction was treated with genuine compassion and care. Thank you Vetwest Bibra Lake. Read Less

The vets can be quite good at helping me to manage my dog, with generalised anxiety issues, to ensure she remains comfortable and has a positive experience.

10/10! Honestly, after just two encounters with this vet - I cannot recommend them enough. I took our 9 week old puppy in for her worming tablet and the vet nurse, Ashley, was so friendly and helpful - even clipped her nails for free. We then had a mishap over the weekend where our pup got sand in her eye. I rang the vet and they suggested saline eye drops which worked almost instantly and saved us a trip to the vet! I know this vet will be where we always go, regardless of where we may reside in the future! Read Less

I went here for the first time on new years eve with my very ill elderly cat, when the location had 30 minutes left of being open. We sadly were faced with the option of euthanasia or an extensive procedure at another site due to them being closed the following day for the public holiday. The staff were welcoming, friendly and did not pressure us at all for a decision or rushed us to get us out. Something which we greatly appreciated given the nature of the situation. Sadly we had put her down but again the vet working that day was professional and compassionate and gave us more than enough time to say our goodbyes and waited for us to be ready to complete the procedure. We ended up leaving quite a bit after the location had closed and the staff did not mention anything about it and wished us as well as they could given what had just happened.I would happily take any of my other pets to this location and plan to use them in the future as I was thoroughly impressed with this experience given the upsetting nature of it and how well treated I felt at the end. Like hospitals, it is never fun to review a place that is generally dealing with the pain and sickness of one much loved, but it has to be done, and often the unsung heroes need recognition. My four-legged and much loved furry thing had to go here recently for a seeping wound on his left paw that just kept getting worse and worse. As humans we can always say, "Hey, I'm in pain, can you get me a Bandaid" but animals are devoid of such luxuries leaving us to guess their threshold of agony by staring into their eyes and gauging their drooping ears and lids. But that is why vets are brilliant.I intended to go to the Vetwest in Cockburn, but being a total donk, I didn't think about booking an appointment in advance. When I rocked up there, they told me that were going into surgery, but with a click of the keyboard they booked me into their Bibra Lake branch instead. From the outside it is unassuming (the Cockburn Vetwest looks like a Spanish resort from the outside), and if and if anyone knows Port Kembla Drive, it is an industrial estate "on the up". I had seen this clinic before, so it was good that I was forced to go in. I'm not sure how you give a vet a 4 or 5 star review; what is the difference? And I can't imagine giving one less.....unless you walk out with a dead animal. But I can tell you that I walked in with a Β very sad and unhappy fluffy thing that is now wagging his tail and barking at me.And that is worth every bit of the $169.93 that I paid. Read Less
