After a long week of mourning our fur baby. I arrived home today to find my tears were not done. Never have I come across such caring and compassionate people. I met 2 the night I brought my Pupp to them. Even though he was gone. The care and love given to him and our family was above and beyond. And today this clinic went the extra mile and sent a beautiful card. A piece of Our fur babies favorite blanket and his foot print. So thank you. P.S Please dont thank me for the review. Took our family dog there after being referred to Dr Colin by another vet. We were prepared for the worst news but Dr Colin treated my dog with everything he could possibly do to make him comfortable as he healed from an injury. Couple days after my dog was not doing well so we took him back to Dr Colin and he advised us the best thing to do at this point without having to put him down. He took Aslan in and did the operation no questions asked. From going to one vet to another with all different outcomes of his injury, Dr Colin helped everyway possible. He stood by my mum and reassured her Aslan will be fine. The staff are also very lovely and helpful aswell. Will be using your clinic from now on. Thankyou Dr Colin for helping out Aslan with his eye. Read Less

I have been coming to this clinic for 12 years and had no such issues until now. The staff there are always so helpful and nice when i came in or rang up. My dog had some skin issues recently and was also receiving arthritis injections at the same time of treatment with Dr Neil, as skin issues can be tricky to treat we tried medications and antibiotics which did not help to then going on to external creams to see what helped. This was going on weekly as the arthritis injections needed done weekly so we were on top of it. For my dogs last injection i was unfortunately over seas and asked a family member to take my dog in for her last injection, she was seen by Dr Colin. Dr Colin instead of providing my dog with its last injection decided to undergo treatment on my dog when he was not asked to. He took my dog down the back of the clinic, shaved her, put her under Anesthesia, all with out any consent from my family member to be then told he didnt know what was wrong and a specialist would be needed. My family member was shocked at the fact he had not asked permission to treat the dog and the bill at the end of the appointment as i had only provided the money for the injection. The vet bill was extortionate and he had put her back on the medication that did not work as well as charging me for another consult and unnecessary work. Once i heard of what had happened i sent Dr Colin an email to ask for an explanation on what had happened and why he felt he had to intervene when she was already seeking veterinary care with Neil. As i live on a budget with Uni i asked if he could drop the consult fee and i would pay the rest off when i return, he replied to my email in a very abrupt and rude manner stating my financial issues were not off his concern and if he had not of intervene with my dog it would've been neglect, he also noted that i was lucky he did not charge me for a return email. I was constantly at the vets dealing with skin issues on my dog and was paying my accounts in full every time to then be treated in this way was deplorable and from one health worker to another i could not understand his work ethics. I will never return again and will be sure to not recommend the practice to others again. I also find it quite interesting while trying to get in contact with Dr Neil about the whole issue to find out he has since left the practice as well.Read Less

Came to the clinic in November in an emergency stressed situation, which resulted in me having to make the tough decision on putting my daughters two year old jack Russell down. Which was what vet told me was really the only option. I was distraught as we all are in this situation. Vet then went and got the drugs out the needle in the dog still distraught I am crying and can barely breath was asked to go and PAY for the dogs bill before he could administer it ! What the actual f**k! Then I stood at the counter waiting to pay while to vet nurses sat around chatting. To then I had to interrupt them to pay for my dog to be put down ? Where is the compassion? The professionalism? So discusted in this practice I myself have done vet nursing as well as working with greyhounds and race horses so I know it's in the business to understand that these bad things do happen and these de idioms do need to be made, but a little compassion and understanding would go a mile, perhaps even a card in the mail or a letter of condolences?
