Went in on a Sunday afternoon because my usual vet had closed. My dog had injured the end of his tail and I needed a bandage to stop the bleeding. The chemist didn’t have the correct type of bandage so I tried the vet. They don’t sell bandages which I understand however wouldn’t even give me one stating they were “out of stock” ie weren’t going to make any money off me. What sort of vet doesn’t have any bandages? Now I remember why I go to Adrian at ocean Keys vet - they always go above and beyond and put the animals welfare first not $$$$!

Terrible place no sympathy or empathy. Dog was baited with hook charged $300 to remove. My daughter had said yes and would
do anything for dog. But I explained that if I paid that amount we wouldn't have money for fuel to get to work apasloutly told I needed to pay. We have had our dog at this vet since a pup. My warning would be if its a emergency you can expect no empathy from this place. They will not treat without payment. Looking for a new vet who puts animals health first and be willing to treat and work out payments

Took my cat here as he wasn’t well. Vet nurse suggested he may have feline aids. Was charged $370 for blood tests and antibiotics and anti inflammatory, even tho she didn’t know what she was treating...
Took my cat here as he wasn’t well. Vet nurse suggested he may have feline aids. Was charged $370 for blood tests and antibiotics and anti inflammatory, even tho she didn’t know what she was treating him for, and told that doesn’t include the test for that disease. Literally gave them every cent I had, asked if they could please do the FIV test and come back and pay for it the next day. Was abruptly told no, “you can’t have a test done unless it’s paid for up front” It’s a ten minute test and they couldn’t do it without payment even after taking every cent I had. After speaking to a lot of people about this it seems we were ripped off and treated very poorly. Do not recommend this place to anyone. They care about money. Not the welfare of our pets. $370 and I still have no diagnosis for my sick pet and was given no medication to take home. Shame on them

Have been going here for over 10 years... they have been with us through it all. When my cat Mia had to be put down coz of her tumor location.. they were nothing but loving and supportive. Even send us a condolences card after her passing. Cant ask for a sweeter, kind and wonderful people. Nurses, staff and vets have been amazing!
In picture is Duma after check up, he was so comfy and chill he went to nap on the scales :)

My dog has been going to this vet since she was a puppy. She's now 9 years old and absolutely loves her visits to the vet. I highly recommend their services.

My beagle, Jessie, was very unwell after returning from boarding kennels and vets Lauren and Vanessa gave excellent immediate attention and follow-up care. They went out of their way to ensure Jessie got a thorough examination and relevant specialist testing done with no wastage of time. I was very touched that we got a follow-up phone call a few days later to ensure that Jessie was recovering satisfactorily. I wish to thank all staff at Vetwest Clarkson for being so wonderful and genuinely caring.Jessie is now back to her normal mischievous self!

My wife and I are very happy with these guys.
Our border collie (Harley) went there with in inch and a half grass seed stuck in the back of his eye.
They managed to get it out and were just so good w...
My wife and I are very happy with these guys.
Our border collie (Harley) went there with in inch and a half grass seed stuck in the back of his eye.
They managed to get it out and were just so good with him.
2 days later they called us to see how he was going, we told them it is pretty hard to get Harleys eye drops in as he does not want a bar of it. They said we could bring him in for the next couple of days and they would put them in for us free of charge.

We've been taking all of our pets there for over 16 years.
They've been so wonderful with all of our fur babies - and us.
Whether it's been on good days or sad days, they always treat you like you...
We've been taking all of our pets there for over 16 years.
They've been so wonderful with all of our fur babies - and us.
Whether it's been on good days or sad days, they always treat you like you are the most important family on the day. They always follow up with a call the following day if a procedure had been done.
We needed specialist help with one of our dogs and they promptly knew where to go.

First time we've ever had a kitten so it's all new to us. Called Vetwest Clarkson and am super impressed with their help and caring attitude. They explained the care plan we've taken for the kitten and on that plan the first consultation with the vet is free for every new issue. Took the kitten to them because we were worried about it and the vet so caring and helpful. They cut the kitten's nails. Didn't cost us a cent except for the medicine for the infection in her ear. The next day we were amazed as they called us to follow up on how the kitten was doing. Our GP doesn't even do that for us. Will recommend Vetwest Clarkson to anyone that cares about their pets.

$370 dollars for 27 minutes and no conclusion . told the dog is fine by what they can see , keep a close eye on him and see what happens......or we can try surgery and see what happens ......noo thanks!!! pure extortion. charged $175 for 20min overtime (without being aware of the surcharge) for 4 nurses and 2 vets.i counted 1 vet and 2 nurses (nurses that sat there doing nothing). what is one to do?! I WOULD NOT EVEN RECOMMEND TAKING ROADKILL TO THESE PEOPLE . CLEARLY THEY ARE THERE TO PLAY ON EMOTIONS OF CARING PET OWNERS FOR THEIR OWN PROFIT.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon because my usual vet had closed. My dog had injured the end of his tail and I needed a bandage to stop the bleeding. The chemist didn’t have the correct type of bandage so I tried the vet. They don’t sell bandages which I understand however wouldn’t even give me one stating they were “out of stock” ie weren’t going to make any money off me. What sort of vet doesn’t have any bandages? Now I remember why I go to Adrian at ocean Keys vet - they always go above and beyond and put the animals welfare first not $$$$!

My beagle, Jessie, was very unwell after returning from boarding kennels and vets Lauren and Vanessa gave excellent immediate attention and follow-up care. They went out of their way to ensure Jessie got a thorough examination and relevant specialist testing done with no wastage of time. I was very touched that we got a follow-up phone call a few days later to ensure that Jessie was recovering satisfactorily. They managed to get it out and were just so good with him.
2 days later they called us to see how he was going, we told them it is pretty hard to get Harleys eye drops in as he does not want a bar of it. They said we could bring him in for the next couple of days and they would put them in for us free of charge.
