My 11 year old Staffy had serious swelling around the neck therefore had to be taken here as they were the only ones local open on a Sunday. After $600 and a hell of a lot of antibiotics, they had no answers. She was seen three times from the vets here and numerous times I pointed out to the vet her inflamed Lymph nodes and was told that this was normal and on one occasion was also told her neck feels normal. I then got a second opinion from another vet who took a biopsy and my little girl was diagnosed with Lymphoma (cancer).
I have never had a good experience with any Vetwest in Perth.
In my opinion they are only pharmaceutical reps who push unnecessary poisons and make us believe our furry friends need them. Take your vaccination for example, they will call you every year to remind you its time to have your pets injected with lethal poison. What they wont tell you is that it is doing more harm then good. Over in the eastern states at least vets advise you to have your pet vaccinated every three years and over in the US the RCPA and NATA scientific study's proves the vaccinations done at 10 weeks old provides 9 years of protection and probably lifelong immunity.
If you care for your pets, please do your research and always consider natural therapy's before excepting the drugs your vet will push on you so they can make a buck!
P.S the swelling around her neck occurred 24 hours after she was vaccinated! Read Less
