When our cat had an epileptic reaction at 5:50pm they were the only vet that said they would hold the doors until I arrived after calling 2 others. The vet who handled it was extremely knowledgeable and took good care of her. Couldnt recommend this clinic enough. Read Less

I travel 50 mins one way to use this vet service because I trust in them so much. They offer the most professional caring service I have come across yet and they do no 'up-sell' products or tests etc to drain your pocket more than is required. They are not pushy either and do not play the passive-fear-mongering that some vets I have used have come across to up-sell. I was quoted $1200 at another vet on South Street to remove cancer from my pooch and Halls Head Vet did it for $350 and a beautiful job they did too. I can not recommend them more highly. They remind me of the good ole 'old school' vets that cared more about your pets than whats in your pocket. I huge thanks to them. They make having a pet more affordable and enjoyable. Read Less

Our beautiful cat was recently bitten by a snake. The staff bent over backwards to try and save him, constantly keeping us up to date with his progress. Unfortunately he died from the damage the venom had caused. The staff were amazing in handling our shock and grief and provided a room where we could say goodbye. I have had some many dealing with this vet and everytime I have delt with them they are such beautiful caring people. I have had to take my little fur baby in when he was on deaths door and they have brought him back to good health and now he is tormenting my other 2 fur babies. But today I had to take my mother in law for her little fur baby who sadly passed away before we managed to get there. The vet Richard I think his name was, was so caring and looked after my mother in laws baby until she passed. He helped her be at peace through the whole time and when we got there he took my mother in law in to another room and broke the news to her and the whole time he was just a lovely caring person. He brought my mother in laws cat into her so she could say good by and had her wrapped in a blanket and treated her with so much respect. My mother in law was crushed and this beautiful man made her feel at ease. If it wasnt for this place so many animals would be in a world of pain. We have been taking our much loved pets to Halls Head Vet Clinic for over 10 years now. They have seen us through some really tough times. Sterilisations, Easter egg Poisoning, grass seed Infections, a cremation, a bee sting, a broken leg, cat fight wounds, over the phone advice on tick removal and now our 10 month old ridgeback was involved in a brutal dog fight with 3 naighbour dogs.
