Hilltop Vet have been looking after my babies for approximately 5 years, I can't recommend them enough, there is nothing that is too much trouble, from simple vaccinations to a major operation and you never have to wait long as they don't over book. Vet not informative before entry of their inhumane policy on pricing... especially in an emergency. Pet locked in a metal door room in a cage immediately & policy is FULL PAYMENT OR NO PET RETURNED! Literally held like property, no option for payment plan; never go for emergency visit unless you are extremely confident of how much you'll be charged & that you can pay immediately. Read Less

My dog seems to be healthy after being treated HOWEVER the conversation on the consult, later on phone & next day to pick her up was constantly MONEY MONEY MONEY. Vet holds dog hostage until you pay in full, do not tell you the initial cost so you can't remove your pet for a 2nd opinion because you've not been given prices before hand. No explanation or care about the medical treatment, what she was treated with overnight, did she drink water, need painkillers, nothing. Once guarenteed payment done Fay pushed me out immediately with a box of pills telling me to read the label & use google. The receptionist, who incidentally is lovely was more caring. Bottom line I wanted medical information, treatments etc & I asked if this was at least written down in my dog's patient file: NO MEDICAL NOTES EVEN TO READ AND FIND OUT. JUST AN INVOICE. Hilltop Vets looked after our dear dog Harry with so much love, attention and care when he was ill and had to go on to the special place that doggies go to when they leave our world. Cruiser our dog has been a patient of Hilltop vet for the past 10 years. He has always been well looked after by Fay and her team. There have been times we were not able to bring Cruiser to surgery and Fay has always been happy to come and see him at home. What a lovely and caring team at Hilltop Veterinary Hospital! It was nothing for the vet to treat my cat outside in my car since my Diva could have been contagious.
