Never had a worse experience in my life. Because of thier lack of care and knowledge they prescribed our dog the wrong things which made him really sick and inturn killed him. Apart from that they are 3 times more expensive then any other local vet, which if wouldnt be a problem if they actually did there job right. Also very unprofessional as well since i had to continually chase up the vets and never got any calls back when i tried to make a complaint. Read Less

Recently had my first litter of puppies, sadly, one was still born, the other was very very poorly and very small. They aren't my normal vets and were very welcoming and understanding. They were lovely and took my pups body and ensured I was ok, 12 hours later I was returning to them with my very poorly pup. Chris, the vet there, was very good and he fought for her the best he could. Despite leaving after hours, they still answered my call for help when my very poorly girl began having seizures in the car on the way home. A quick u-turn and they accepted me straight back giving her the attention and care she desperately needed. I was sent home with her with clear instructions and all the equipment I needed. I sadly had to rush her to the emergency vets in the early hours. Despite everyone's best efforts the little angel died. Read Less

My cat developed a limp about 5+ years ago. I took it to MVH. They said it had a fracture and needed splinting, with regular re-dressings. Prices were high but I'd never been to a vet clinic in Perth so I didn't have anything to compare to at the time. After several repeat visits, no improvement, if anything cat was less happy. Then after the second-to-last visit cat got steadily worse and was clearly in serious pain, so I took the cat back on a Sunday. The vet on duty was new (to me anyway). She unwrapped the leg. It was all pussy and disgusting. Vet said that this was because the previous splint/binding had been too tight. As I left I expected paperwork but thought it would be reasonable not to be charged (or at least not full fee). No such luck. The receptionist told me same fee as usual plus Sunday surcharge. The way she said it, I got the impression she was bracing for an argument (I regret to say I didn't argue. I just wanted my cat back.) After that I went to a different vet who said that while there had been a minor injury to the leg it would heal itself and didn't need a splint or any other treatment. Substantially lower fees. I had to wait for a while though because the new vet was obviously popular, with the waiting room full of clients. Sure enough, the cat got better. Read Less

Have just got back from taking my loved border collie Tango here. She had been diagnosed with cancer of the glands at another vet and all they said was that there was not much they can do! She is my baby and I was devastated. One of my friends suggested I give the vets at Midland vet a try because she heard they do cancer treatment. After seeing the vet there and him taking so much time to explain to me exactly what Tango had, we decided to treat with some chemotherapy. Tango was really down and hardly eating and her glands were really big. Well after her 1st treatment, she was bounding around again - I just could not believe it! And her glands are totally back to normal! I know that we will likely just put the cancer into remission, but I am so glad to have my baby back - and to think that someone else said there was nothing they could do. She has had her 3rd treatment now and is doing so well I just had to write this. Thank you Midland vet for doing something - all of you are great! Read Less

Acupuncture for dogs. That's right. You heard correctly. This is one of the many services offered by the kind, caring and compassionate animal-loving vets at the clinic. And I can testify that this treatment worked wonders on my beloved boy when he suffered from arthritis in his more senior days. After a solid session with the magic needles he would bound around boisterously like the playful pup he once was. I can also testify to the fact that we took him and our other cherished dog, Bonnie, and cat, Holly, there for many years. We were always supremely happy with the services provided and the caring and genuine vets who spoke with kindness and compassion to both our pets and ourselves. When an animal is sick and suffering it can be very distressing and soft and comforting words of wisdom are a precious commodity you could never put a price on. The veterinary clinic also has a branch in Bullsbrook and they are currently staffed by five professional veterinarians. Some of the clinic's services include; day surgery, over night surgery, microchipping, chemotherapy, weight loss programs, pathology, dentistry, radiology and ultra-sound imaging - just to name a few.One of the best things about this vet is the sheer size of their waiting room. Dogs and cats don't always get along. Dogs and dogs don't either. Throw a rabbit or rodent into the mix and just watch and see what happens....Space between pets, and sometimes people, is a good thing. And let's face it, anything that can decrease the stress of an often dreaded vet visit is worth its weight in gold.Midland Veterinary Hospital does seem to be all about helping the animals - the people kind and all other kinds. Check out their website at midlandvet.com.au for all sorts of useful info on cats, dogs, horses, pocket pets, birds and wildlife.

Read Less
