I took my dog into this vets for what I suspect to be an accidental poisoning after my dog had consumed a friend's diabetes medication, (This subsequently turned out to be the case). My dog was given saline solution with glucose as his blood sugars had fallen, when I asked the Vet for a possible likely outcome they told me he wasn't likely to survive, but they wished to have him remain for a few more days in emergency, this didn't seem like the best course of action due to been already told he was unlikely to survive, but this would still cost me thousands. I now knowing the likelihood was death and he needed his sugar levels to go up I would take him home and nurse and care for him I given an ultimatum by the vet to agree to keep my dog in for treatment for thousands of dollars which if I didn't agree to they threatened euthanasia of my dog. I insisted I be given my dog back and told them how disgusting I found it to be threatened in such a manner. They continued to push me to leave my dog, and it was clear to me this was purely a greedy financial ploy on their behalf and nothing to do with the welfare of my dog. Eventual after me insisting that I wanted my dog back they did, but only after they got me to sign a release basically making me out to be cruel. My dog was returned but still with me been told what a horrible thing I was doing and how cruel I was, going so far as to tell me in graphic details how The dog would die in agony within the hour. I signed this only as it was the only way they would give me my dog, however I added to what they had written stating why this was my course of action, and my dog would be surrendered by love and care. Getting The dog home I began giving him honey initially by rubbing it into his gums, within a few hours he started to respond eating and drinking. The dog made a full recovery and the next day upon telling the vet's this, I was told how disappointed they had been in me as I didn't appreciate what they had done, told them not the case I had been grateful for his initial treatment, but the threats and emotional blackmail to procure more money from me under the threat of killing my dog was not. Utterly disgraceful, that they were willing to kill My dog, because I wouldn't agree to the threats of the supposed care. No I don't recommend this vet's. Read Less
