Our focus as a veterinary hospital is on providing a consistently high standard of care to our patients, as well as providing outstanding customer service.
We operate out of a custom-built clinic packed with quality equipment. Our local team consist of the longest serving vet and nursing staff in the history of the town, and we are able to share our extensive local experience and knowledge with you and your pet. We love animals- and to prove it we treat wildlife, rehome stray pets, and offer a 24 hour on call service.
We place a strong emphasis on continuing education and practice development and have carefully researched protocols in place to make sure that you get the best treatment for your pet the first and every time. We are constantly updating and improving our treatments to reflect developments in the veterinary field

Not a great experience. Customer service and empathy was terrible- especially after bringing in my little dog after a traumatic dog bite! The receptionist was not very helpful and even tried to have m...
Not a great experience. Customer service and empathy was terrible- especially after bringing in my little dog after a traumatic dog bite! The receptionist was not very helpful and even tried to have me sign a contract without providing the terms and conditions to read! When i asked for them she was obviously quite put out.
My dog is ok which is the main thing but after 2 days in the vet and no opportunity to discuss treatment options, I was left feeling vulnerable and unable to say no expensive and potentially unnecessary surgery.
I hope this feedback is taken on board and the interactions you have with future clients are more positive than this one.

Very bad service. Did not care about my dog. The vet would take there time when my dog was dying in front of them. Very bad Never going there again.

The Staff at South Hedland Pets and Vets are fantastic! Caring, kind and understanding they go out of their way to ensure that your pet is as comfortable as possible. Ive experienced other vets in town who like to push/upsell their products to you and South never does this! Additionally they are committed to providing the best experience possible and ensure they are providing up to date info on not just health related issues but behaviour related issues as well, recommending books, products and techniques that are humane and dog friendly!

I'm so lucky to have these guys in town looking after my two dogs and cat for the past 3.5 years, the whole team is super friendly and super efficient (I can never get over how fast they know who I am and who my pets are when I call) both during 'office hours' and in the occasional stressful after-hours emergency. I can't fault them.

I'm so lucky to have these guys in town looking after my two dogs and cat for the past 3.5 years, the whole team is super friendly and super efficient (I can never get over how fast they know who I am and who my pets are when I call) both during 'office hours' and in the occasional stressful after-hours emergency.
