Won't accept payment plans, unless through vet pay and even then you have to pay a deposit... And that's no matter how serious your pets injury is (cruciate ligament, dog going into shock). They are excellent if you have cash, friendly and very helpful. But very disappointing, after 8 yrs and three fur babies, to be treated this way. Nearly lost my fur baby and had to get help elsewhere as they would not help. Policy should be care first... sadly money came first. Gutted as my pets have come here since we got them. If i could give them a negative rating, i would! This practice is dishonest, greedy and their staff have appalling communication and customer service skills. Their practice manager Kristen was meant to call me more than 3 weeks ago to resolve an issue, but i still haven't heard back from her. I've called the practice and left messages numerous times, and even went there personally to speak to her, to no avail. How busy can one get that they can't even return a customer's call for 3 weeks??!!! My dog had a mole on her bottoms which i was concerned about. The vet reckoned that it looked nasty and recommended that we get some sample cells extracted to get them tested asap, which cost $140. I was told that i can expect 2 things; 1) the mole is benign and it's just a sun mark and we can leave it alone, or 2) the mole is malignant and we may have to remove it. As i was concerned it was the latter, i decided it's best we got it checked out. A few days later i got a call from the nurse stating that the results was inconclusive as not enough cells were removed to get the sample tested, and i will have to bring my dog in to extract more cells at my own cost!!! Alternatively i could just leave it alone and monitor it to see if it grows. Firstly, i wasn't informed of the possibility that the results could turn up inconclusive. Secondly, why hadn't the vet advised me to monitor the mole to see if it grows, if that was an option in the first place?? If it's not that serious and i could have waited and monitored the mole, why even bother with the procedure which not only caused a lot of pain and distress to my dog, but left me $140 out of pocket. And why should i pay another $140 just because the vet muffed up and didn't remove enough samples??? Where is the ownership here?? I understand that nobody is perfect and people make mistakes, however when it involves a big sum of money, it's important that the vet and the practice disclose all information, and not hold back just so they can extort money from customers who just want the best for their pets. And if the vet genuinely made a mistake, then the practice should own up and not just dodge my calls!!! Also beware when the vet tells you a follow up check up is complementary. What they conveniently forget to tell you is that they charge a premium for the follow up on a Saturday. Even when you call to make an appointment, they choose to leave this important information out, so they can hit you with a hefty fee at the end of the "complementary check up". I completely understand that some places charge weekend fees, but you have to inform your customers, not just surprise them with a big bill! AVOID THIS PRACTICE AT ALL COST! They are not concerned about your pet's well being, they are only concerned about milking money off you! Read Less

We had to make the tough decision to say goodbye to my beautiful 16 year old Pomeranian Jessie 2 weeks ago and the staff were very caring about the situation as my family and I were interstate. After 14 years of taking our beloved Beagle Dash to Warton Rd, today it was time to say goodbye...we couldn't of asked for more support especially over the last 18months & particularly today as we all cried and cried and cried as Dash was peacefully put to sleep and crossed over the rainbow bridge. Special thanks to Kay for being Dash's main vet in the last few years and guiding us through this last months...she has been our (my) rock throughout....seeing me cry (a lot) but always being supportive. Took a young female raven in today that had been hit by a car.. The staff were so good at taking her in and didn't care she was the kind of bird people consider pests... I cannot applaud them enough for taking her in... Whether she makes it or not I know she's in good hands. I was a bit of a manic mess because I hate seeing animals injured but the girl at reception was so professional that I felt at ease. Will definitely be taking any future pets or other injured wildlife here. Read Less

I have been taking my dogs, mice and rats here for years. The receptionists, nurses and vets are fantastic! You will not find a more caring place to take your pets. Highly recommend them to everyone. The quality of care is brilliant. They don't just treat your pets they look after them like their own. Read Less

A very loving and compassionate place, they looked after my dog from a puppy until he passed away a few weeks ago at 13.5 yrs old, they offer great support in the passing of your beloved pet/family member, it was fantastic not having to have the extra stress and worry about what to do with our fur baby, when the time is right we will be back with another loved pet, thank you. Appreciate the help with my beautiful Indi this morning & Max earlier in the week & for being able to make sense of what was going on, while I was falling apart. Nothing means more to me than my Woofers & thanks for seeing Indi straight away <3 <3 <3 Her spirits were up a little tonight after she had some water & there's nothing wrong with her appetite, she had a few cubes of kidney & Heart with her tablets tonight!
