Thanks to Dr Phil who saved my sisters staffy Shah.. Shah had been off her food for a couple of days so we took her to him. He had to put her on a drip over night so she would make it through surgery the next day... her uterus had ruptured and her insides were riddled with gunk and infection... Dr Phil had to remove her uterus and clean her out .... he saved her life... she had to stay on the drip for another day but without Dr Phils quick thinking she wouldn't be here now!! I had heard good things about the clinic so when I recently moved & found myself in need of a vet for our foster dog Harry (who we brought in with suspected kennel cough) I decided to visit the Hammond Park clinic. Not only did he give great service and care to my foster dog Harry and our little Poppet (who we took in as well for annual booster) but he also took the time to send me a message a few days later to heck how our little pack was going! A huge thankyou to Dr Phil for always being the kind, compassionate vet that he is! We have 2 boxers that are always struggling with some kind of allergy or the recent event where one of them had a bib stuck in his intestines and required emergency surgery!! Each and every time, Dr Phil has provided round the clock care for not only our dogs, but for us aswell. Texting us to check up on symptoms and progress, willing to answer any question or concern at any time, any day! Not to mention dropping everything on a sunday arvo to meet us at the vet to administer further pain meds for our recovering man! Allowing us to come and visit Hugo after his operation to say goodnight was incredibly comforting to not only us, but our doggy aswell. Couldn't be happier with the service care that we have received from Phil and his team. You can really see the difference between a chain vet compared to Hammond Park clinic. We had previously been to another vet and our friendly, happy puppy was completely freaked out and I've never heard him make as much noise when he was getting a general check up. He's been to see Phil a few times now and has never once made any noise or cried. He is so gentle and caring and really takes the time to make them feel comfortable. Our puppy hasn't been very well and has had a few issues with his stomach and Phil has been really supportive and checks in to see how he's going and he's made me feel so much better knowing there is someone I can message when I am worried. Dr Phil is the most caring and compassionate vet I have ever met. He dropped everything to take care of and save the life of our very sick puppy and stayed very late into the night to make sure she had the best care.
