My dog had cruciate ligament surgery last year. I went to the vet for something else and there was a new vet working there. The Vet told me that they used the incorrect procedure and there is another procedure which would have been better for hm and cost a lot less. I was not given any other option.
Then I found an injured native bird and took it there and I was told to go to the native animal hospital in Malaga which I couldn't at the time. I asked him (different vet this time) if he could do anything. He said he could euthanaise the bird and then told me it would cost me $30.
You should have a sign saying not to bring in injured native animals. I have taken injured animals to other vets and never had this problem.

Rita is one of the best vets I have come across. She did a fantastic job of calming me down when my dog had been kicked in the head by a horse. And my dog turned out to be fine!

I believe this place has changed hands recently so it's a shame that previous poor reviews are staying. Edgewater Vet has been assisting me so much with all my animals. I always feel welcomed there and even when I'm late it's "no problem at all" to them. Dr Sam took a lot of time to examine a found little stray and to explain my options to me in all the detail I needed. Angela, the new senior vet nurse is efficient and extremely friendly whatever else is going on. I recommend you check them out if you're nearby.

Very impressed with care and service and of course my dog both our first visit. My dog had gone missing then FOUND and was thoroughly vet checked at this vet she was comfortable with the staff as she is a very skittish type dog ... will certainly be going back and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.

Having my foster dogs and own dogs visiting the practice. I have experienced the best service, my animals have had excellent care and were treated with a great deal of respect. My animals have had routine check ups to surgery. The vets, nurses and practice owner are compassionate and i trust their recommendations 100%. High recommend this clinic.

Terrible consultation services that caused my dog to lose its life and left the people around me depressed. My dog was not eating right and my mate and I decided to pop by for a consultation. The veterinarian (elderly female) took a look at my dog and said that the he was "perfectly healthy" because he gained 2 kilograms, after weighing my dog. All she told me was different dogs are different and its just how this dog is. As long as he gained weight, which he did, he was fine. And charged us $60 for the consultation. A week later (today), my mate bought him to another vet and my dog Jimmy had actually be diagnosed with stomach cancer and is suffering from internal bleeding, which explains why he was not eating right. He had to be put down today as there was a lump inside him that would pop anytime. It was a ticking time bomb and putting him down was the best solution at that time. To let him go without any pain. I was not able to pet him for one last time as the process has already begun when I got into my car and rushed there. Put yourself in my shoes and you'll know how i feel.

Not sure where this vet has gone wrong in their hiring process but the vet I had there today was appauling. Previously I have had great experiences here (with Ali) but today (sat) the vet was very unprofessional, seemed disinterested, was awkward, and when medication was suggested by her she asked me "how many days of medication would you like?" My reply was "I don't know you are the expert you tell me". She also did the consult in the reception area with 4 staff members sitting behind reception staring it is. It was just super average experience. Really really dissatisfied with Edgewater vet and most certainly will not be taking my dog there again.

My dog had cruciate ligament surgery last year. I went to the vet for something else and there was a new vet working there. The Vet told me that they used the incorrect procedure and there is another procedure which would have been better for hm and cost a lot less. I was not given any other option.

I believe this place has changed hands recently so it's a shame that previous poor reviews are staying. Edgewater Vet has been assisting me so much with all my animals. I always feel welcomed there and even when I'm late it's "no problem at all" to them. Very impressed with care and service and of course my dog both our first visit. My dog had gone missing then FOUND and was thoroughly vet checked at this vet she was comfortable with the staff as she is a very skittish type dog ... will certainly be going back and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.

My animals have had routine check ups to surgery. The vets, nurses and practice owner are compassionate and i trust their recommendations 100%. High recommend this clinic.

Terrible consultation services that caused my dog to lose its life and left the people around me depressed. My dog was not eating right and my mate and I decided to pop by for a consultation. Not sure where this vet has gone wrong in their hiring process but the vet I had there today was appauling. Previously I have had great experiences here (with Ali) but today (sat) the vet was very unprofessional, seemed disinterested, was awkward, and when medication was suggested by her she asked me "how many days of medication would you like?"
