If you are looking for a vet that cares do not bother coming here. We had an emergency on Sunday and called them to try to get them to help but they told us to go elsewhere because they were full. When we drove past to EVH Emergency Vet Hospital in Wangara they were empty other than the vet on call. EVH Emergency Vet Hospital did all they could for my best friend but unfortunately due to the delay he passed away that day. If the vets actually cared at Vetwest my friend would still be with us. I would never recommend anyone go to these people if you love your pets. Take them to a vet that cares and will do everything they can to try and help. If you want a suggestion I highly suggest EVH Emergency Vet Hospital in Wangara. They are professional, caring and actually want to help animals in need.

Re Vet West Wanneroo. As a triple registered breeder of 20 years, I can say this is the worst vet ever. I followed a vet I had a good relationship with when she moved here but the admin staff are a nightmare. Forgotten appointments, bullshit results, junior receptionists think they are a vet themselves, misleading diagnoses, a dog left in excruciation pain 5 days. Messages not passed to vets.Misdiagnosed cancer, wrong drugs given out. Some forgotten. Wrong pathology results. Really rude staff. Multiple breach of privacy and ruined relationships with specialists. Every member of staff contradicts the other. Run a mile before using this Vet West or any Vet West. Floors and walls filthy. Old blood on the bottom of the doors. And an operated on dog in the backroon howling in desperate agony was 'just having a bit of a whinge'. Nightmare vets. And no thought of an apology when any of this brought to their attention. Oh and fleas! Seriously.

I HIGHLY recommend vet west Wanneroo, my British Bulldog Cali has been a regular there recently, and the staff went above and beyond to help with her tail issue, allergies and so much more (you can imagine how many issues Bulldogs face). They genuinely care and want the best for your pet. I'd like to thank the vet nurse in particular, Rachel - who even spoke to me out of hours about my dogs issues and told me what to do. Thank you so much vet west for your ongoing support and care.

Great! Took my cat in to be desexed. They were kind, efficient, and welcoming. Took him in at 8am had him out just after 1pm. And it was top quality care, for a minimal charge.

Took my dogs Shisha and Cupcake there yesterday and they received a caring treatment by the vet. Used to go to a different vet and just wanted to hear second opinion, this vet at vetwest seemed to have a lot more knowledge and experience than previous vet place we went to.

Was told one thing by a vet.. she went on maternity leave. Then 'forced' to have another consult.. told another thing by another vet who said she would leave n...
Would give no stars if it was an option!
Was told one thing by a vet.. she went on maternity leave. Then 'forced' to have another consult.. told another thing by another vet who said she would leave notes. Came in later to collect what had been organised with the new vet but receptionist wouldn't allow it without seeing another vet, even though the last consult was only 4 weeks prior. Said they couldn't help us unless we paid another consultation fee plus test fee. Extremely disappointed in vet west's lack of ability to follow through with what they say, the miscommunication within their practice and the way we (both me and my partner, on separate occassions) were dealt with.
Gave them a second chance and they just took it as an opportunity to try grab more money!

My dog is very happy and friendly dog.
My dog bit nervous without me or my partner cutting her nail. The lady said my dog needs to train or check...

We have been taking our pets here for years, the staff and Vets are lovely people and very skilled in handling animals. They obviously care greatly for our furry friends and it shows.

If you are looking for a vet that cares do not bother coming here. We had an emergency on Sunday and called them to try to get them to help but they told us to go elsewhere because they were full. I HIGHLY recommend vet west Wanneroo, my British Bulldog Cali has been a regular there recently, and the staff went above and beyond to help with her tail issue, allergies and so much more (you can imagine how many issues Bulldogs face).
