If I could leave a ZERO star I would! I would not trust this vet with a dead animal let alone one that needs emergency medical help!. My sister had him out in Nov 2021 for a colic. He took his sweet time getting to her house. Once there he got out of the vehicle and said he needed to take a "piss" my sister offered the house washroom and he declined and said "No, this tree will do just fine" Keep in mind there were 3 of us girls there AND his 2 female assistants!. He walked out to the pasture where a friend was walking the colicking horse. He came up, gave him an IV injection after having troubles finding the vein and digging around. We asked what I was and he said it was better then Banamine and was new on the market for horses with colic. He did NOT check Temp, Pulse, Resp, Did NOT do a rectal exam, did NOT tube the horse. After a few mins He had a quick listen to his guts, and said "Oh yep here they come, he's gonna be good" and said he would be back in 3 hours to administer another IV Pain injection. He was late coming back. At this time there has been NO improvement in the horse! He was getting worse. Administered another injection, Listened to his gut sounds and said he did have gut sounds. Handed his stethoscope to my sister and told her to listen. She did not hear anything no matter where he put the stethoscope on the horse. There still was NO gut sounds, NO Improvement. My sister asked him to check the horses gums and said they were pale. He said Nah, as long as they aren't blue or purple he's fine. When they turn purple you need to get the gun out. He left and said he can come back in a few more hours to give yet again another pain shot. My sister then decided around midnite she needed a different vet to come out and assess her gelding. She called another equine vet who came out immediately, did a rectal exam and tubed the horse and performed a proper exam. Her findings were he had gas colic and small intestine twist. Not a great surgery candidate because of how long the gut had been twisted for. My sister hoped and prayed all god damn night her horse would miraculously pull out of this and be OK. She 100% would of done the surgery if he was a good candidate for it. The 2nd vet came back the following afternoon to euthanize my sisters heart horse. This all could of been prevented and a life saved and my sisters heart spared had Ilyia done a proper exam with a bit of urgency during his visit and not to non-chalet about the situation. Had we done a quick google of him we never ever would of had him come out for my sisters horse!. Google His name you will find out why. I brought one of my cats there fairly recently for sores on his chin. He gave my cat a needle and put him to sleep. As the cat was falling asleep he started vomiting. The vet told me to hang his head over the edge of the table and that he would be fine. Once the cat was asleep he turned the cat around repeatedly by grabbing the skin on his back and neck. He then told me the cat had tonsilitis and strep throat after he looked down his throat. He made me look too, like i would even know what i was looking at. He then told me the sores on his chin were from drinking out of a plastic ice cream pail. Im not even sure why he put him to sleep and looked down his throat when i brought him in for sores. He prescribed antibiotics and told us to bring him home. The cat was still asleep and i asked how long he would take to wake up. He said he should wake up within about 90 minutes at the most. My cat was out for 4 and a half hours longer after leaving! He urinated where he was laying at least 3 times. My son was so afraid the cat would never wake up. Truth be told, so was i. Wanted to have the records from my dog transferred to a vet who I know and trust. Called and told the receptionist who said yep, no problem. Then my vet called to say they won’t send them. I called back to have the vet answer. He IMMEDIATELY started yelling at me, telling me he won’t until the breeder I got her from calls. Makes no sense to me, so I called my vet back to find out what is going on. They advised I call the police. I now know why he was so defensive. This vets license has been suspended in the past for failure to keep proper records and causing animals harm and unjust pain. Brutal. So we finally get the INCOMPLETE records at my veterinarian clinic. He had misdiagnosed my dog, as well as failed to include any tests (if he even did any) to document her ailment.
