Greg Benoit and his staff have looked after our animals since he has been a vet. His father Rex was our vet before that. They have always provided excellent care for all our animals. And when Sam (pictured) suddenly became ill they provided wonderful care. Unfortunately not even the best vet can cure advanced cancer and Sam passed away. The caring we received when we reported Sam’s passing was incredible. They understood that Sam was part of our family. Sure, I might be able to find cheaper vets....but some things money can’t buy. Dr Greg Benoit (Bonnyville Vet Clinic and also Grande Center Vet Clinic in Cold Lake) is by far the absolute best Veterinarian in all of this area. His staff also are top notch surpassing any other Vets/Clinics in this area fro knowledge and dedication. I read some of the Reviews here and have this to say. I have 45+ yrs hands on experience with horses, dogs and other livestock. Coming up to 29 yrs raising small breed dogs. With as many dogs as I have I am at the Vets continually. From full Dentals to Spay/Neuter to accidental injuries to C Sections, from wee puppies needing help to caring for elderly dogs, everything you can think of having to do with proper care of dogs. And since Dr. Benoit has all the updated modern equipment needed for diagnosis and treatment, you pet is in better hands with him and his staff than any other clinic. Do mistakes happen? Do things sometimes go wrong? Do animals sometimes not make it? Yes!!! But they happen far, far less than at other clinics in this area. And that is why I switched to them. I got tired of the mega mistakes and the "Shit Happens" attitude when mistakes did happen. And yes, with the last dog and the mistake that cost her life, I was told "Shit Happens". Those exact words. At Bonnyville Vet Clinic I am betting if something does go wrong, it is 1 out of 10,000 patient visits unlike the competition where it was 1 out of a 100 when it came to my animals. As for the cost? I would rather pay higher fees any day and not be worried sick that some mistake was going to happen every time I took an animal there like another local Clinic I used before switching to Bonnyville Vet Clinic and Grand Center Vet Clinic.
