Aspen Animal Hospital opened its doors in February, 2010 and has since become a rapidly growing small animal practice in southwest Calgary.
This progressive veterinary practice is equipped with the latest in veterinary technology including digital radiography, ultrasonic dentistry and a fully modernized surgical suite.
Providing the upmost quality of care to our companion, avian and exotic animal community, Dr. Mike Sweet, Dr. Berdeen Ross and Dr. Sarah Strobiki head this new and upcoming practice.
With the support of a wonderful staff, Aspen Animal Hospital strives to provide its clientele with exceptional customer service as well as to provide superior, compassionate veterinary care to its patients.
Aspen Animal Hospital is happy to be accepting new patients of all shapes and sizes. Dogs, cats, pocket pets and birds are all welcome!

Avoid this clinic at all costs. Money grab at its finest. Vets who don’t know your dogs breed. Absolutely disgusting and atrocious clinic. Giving too many vaccines at once for my very small dog plus teeth extractions right away for a 12 week old AND suggesting neutering at 13 weeks. Absolutely flabbergasted that the vet I visited at this clinic is licensed !

I have been most impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the environment which is bright and immaculate and the overall service. Appointments are on time. The vets have been excellent, well informed, caring and compassionate. I feel very confident with the care my pets receive, and have been impressed with the overall costs. Focus is on the pet, not the financials. And there are no surprises. Information and related costs for procedures are clearly outlined and explained.

We have been taking our dog to aspen animal hospital for his annual physical since they opened in 2010. The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. Service is prompt and we’ve never felt that we were overcharged $ They are well stocked with all the healthy top rated pet foods

As a first time pet owner I was very happy and satisfied with the way Aspen Animal Hospital treated my pet rabbit. Additionally, they explained procedures clearly and provided all the information i needed. I had my pet rabbit spayed and after bringing her home they made sure to check up to make sure everything was going well. For any pet needs i know i can rely on Aspen Animal Hospital to help out. After receiving a quote from another clinic, we took our dog here for surgery. Their quote was reasonable and it cost 1/5 of the quoted priced from another Calgary animal hospital. We are very impressed with the care our dog has received here. The staff are knowledge and have great client care with follow up phone calls. Their opinions and advice were given without pressuring for one item or another. Greatly recommend them.

My pup is so loved and taken care of when I take him there and the staff are so nice and incredibly attentive. I honestly can't imagine taking my pup anywhere else! Even with the clinic busy and booked up, the vets still found time to look after my little Maltese who was terribly sick (this was the second clinic we took her to). A day after we took her to the 24hr pet hospital downtown, she got 3x worse, vomiting and defecating blood. A day after we took her to Aspen Animal Hospital, you'd never know she was sick at all - they got her right as rain, and the medication and the diet they recommended is proving to work really well! I am so glad I live close to this vet hospital. I am so thankful for the vets and all the staff who work here: the vets really know what they're doing, and the vet assistants are kind and were able to reassure me despite how sick my Danika was. So thankful.

My pup Chuck is a super needy anxious and just down right bad dog. We love him and because we love him so much we have been taking him to Aspen since he was 6 weeks old. I live on the other side of the city and wouldn't go anywhere else. They have known Chuck now for 4 and half years, and they know how bad he is, and deal with him with such kindness. All the Dr's and staff are friendly and professional. I can't speak of them highly enough.

If you love and care about your pet, go somewhere else where the staff are at least polite. Inexperienced and rude. Dr Sara probably the nicest one there.

Giving too many vaccines at once for my very small dog plus teeth extractions right away for a 12 week old AND suggesting neutering at 13 weeks. I have been most impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the environment which is bright and immaculate and the overall service. Appointments are on time. The vets have been excellent, well informed, caring and compassionate. I feel very confident with the care my pets receive, and have been impressed with the overall costs. Even with the clinic busy and booked up, the vets still found time to look after my little Maltese who was terribly sick (this was the second clinic we took her to). A day after we took her to the 24hr pet hospital downtown, she got 3x worse, vomiting and defecating blood. A day after we took her to Aspen Animal Hospital, you'd never know she was sick at all - they got her right as rain, and the medication and the diet they recommended is proving to work really well! My pup Chuck is a super needy anxious and just down right bad dog. We love him and because we love him so much we have been taking him to Aspen since he was 6 weeks old.
