I can not praise this animal hospital enough. Phenomenal staff, phenomenal vets, if I hadn't gone for a second opinion I would have been putting my fur baby to sleep before her time. Thank you Louise for setting everything up for me from my appointment to my financing and bless you Dr Rix for being so compassionate and taking the time to make myself and Maddie feel so much more relaxed at this time in our lives. I have been here a couple times now and I have to say the service is excellent.
Everyone is very friendly and you can tell they love pets here. Always happy to give our dog water or treats while he is there. We have seen 2 different vets there and both have been excellent. They don't mind getting down on the floor with our dog to check him out and don't get frustrated when he is excited to see them and tries to lick their face or get up close.
We had a different vet we went to before but due to them not responding to our calls when we called we had to find another one and selected Falconridge. Both times we called for an appointment we were seen very quickly, one of which was an emergency and we were seen the same day and the other was this past weekend for some tick meds and a vaccine shot.
Prices here are also very good compared to speaking with friends and comparing others in Calgary.
Can't say enough good things about our experience here so far and we will continue to be back.

We have several animals 2 of them require regular medications their lives literally depend on them! One of our previous vets didnt want to treat my dogs condition said he wasnt having alot of symptoms so by the time we got to falconridge he was quite sick but thanks to falconridge animals hospital he is now good! We dont live in the area but totally willing to drive to the area for the quality of care we get!

Great vets here, my small dog was very sick. I went here and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We saw dr Evan vandervalk and he was so thorough and gentle with our sick little girl. He laid out the price up front and presented me the options to us for different treatment plans. He never judged us for our lack of funds and helped us find an option that was affordable. Our little dog is 100% now and we can’t thank this clinic enough!

Falconridge Animal Hospital helped my parents dog, and helped my mom learn to trust veterinarians again. The staff was pleasant and welcoming, and the vet took the time to ensure my parents dog was comfortable, while still examining her. For the first time in a long time, my mom feels confident taking the dog to the vet on her own, and I trust that she is getting the best service each time she attends.

The doctors ordered allergy syrum without asking us at all and then sent collection agency after us to harass us. We were here for good 3 years and when we did not see results for our dog allergies we asked them to send our dog file to another doctor for opinion. As soon as we asked to see another doctors, the attitude went from being friendly to treating us like we cheated them or something. Still finding to get my dogs records transferred over as we paid thousands in multiple allergy tests.
STAY AWY from these guys and find an honest veterinarian who cares about your dog rather than cash in you pocket.

I used to take my dogs here and over the years have spent thousands of dollars here. We were customers here for 8 years. Then one day the great rapport that I thought I had with their staff took a very poor turn. The receptionist refused to allow one of my dogs' nails to be cut because his rabies shot was overdue. This was because they actually canceled my appointment a week before because the doctor was sick and they rescheduled me for the next week. We went in as they cut nails on Tuesdays and my dogs rabies shot was on Wednesday (the next day). My dog had broken one of his nails and was limping due to this. The receptionist (Lindsay) was as rude as you can get and was very disrespectful to say the least. I asked for the Doctor to look at my dog and was told they were all booked for the day. So, much for being called an animal hospital. Then the Vet Tech (Megan) came out from the back room and I not only got no help from her, she was more rude than the receptionist was. I was made to feel like I there asking for free food. The way that I was talked to in a condescending tone by the Vet Tech was extremely disrespectful and was done in front of another customer . I had given up on asking them to cut his nails and wanted my dog to be seen for what I believed was an injury to his paw because of the broken nail. After I left I went to another Vet clinic. They quickly proved me correct. My dog had to get a local anesthetic and then have a piece of his nail pulled out of the top of his paw and had to have antibiotics to treat him, as well as a bandage. I wrote a letter about my experience and mailed it to Dr. Rix (the owner) at the clinic and never received a reply from her. For this reason we would not return to this clinic if it was free.

We've been going to Falconridge animal hospital for over 12 years. We have a rescue that is afraid of new people and it took Dr Rix 4 years of patience to finally gain his trust. The office is great with very caring people. They truly care about your furbabies well being! When we moved out of the area, we continue to commute back to see Dr Rix.

Falconridge Animal Hospital is the best. My pets are extremely well taken care of by all the staff. Our dog had a recent unfortunate case of lice and Dr. Rix took special care of her; doing research to try and solve the problem. She found a medication that worked when all others failed, and our St. Bernard got to keep her beautiful coat and no more scratching. Our pets love going to the vet, and we actually have to drag our dog out b/c she wants to stay longer. I have no hesitation recommending Falconridge Animal Hospital to friends and family. Keep up the great work!

I have been here a couple times now and I have to say the service is excellent.
Everyone is very friendly and you can tell they love pets here. Always happy to give our dog water or treats while he is there. We have seen 2 different vets there and both have been excellent. They don't mind getting down on the floor with our dog to check him out and don't get frustrated when he is excited to see them and tries to lick their face or get up close.

I used to take my dogs here and over the years have spent thousands of dollars here. We were customers here for 8 years. Then one day the great rapport that I thought I had with their staff took a very poor turn. The receptionist refused to allow one of my dogs' nails because his rabies shot was overdue. This was because they actually canceled my appointment because the doctor was sick and they rescheduled me for the next week. We went in as they cut nails on Tuesdays and my dogs rabies shot was on Wednesday (the next day). My dog had broken his nail and was limping due to this. The receptionist (Lindsay) was as rude as you can get and was very disrespectful to say the least. I asked for the Doctor to look at my dog and was told they were all booked for the day. So, much for being called an animal hospital. Then the Vet Tech (Megan) came out from the back room and I not only got no help from her, she was as rude as the receptionist was. I was made to feel like I there asking for free food. The way that I was talked to in a condescending tone by the Vet Tech was extremely disrespectful. I had given up on asking them to cut his nails and wanted my dog to be seen for what I believed was an injury to his paw because of the broken nail. After I left I went to another Vet clinic. They proved me correct. My dog had to get a local anesthetic and then have a piece of his nail pulled out of the top of his paw and had to have antibiotics to treat him, as well as a bandage. I wrote a letter about my experience and mailed it to Dr. Rix (the owner) at the clinic and never received a reply from her. I would not return to this clinic if it was free.

I can say that they are one of the best vets around and I recommend everyone come here. You will not get better staff and vets than Falconridge Animal Hospital.

We've been going to Falconridge animal hospital for over 12 years. We have a rescue that is afraid of new people and it took Dr Rix 4 years of patience to finally gain his trust. The office is great with very caring people. They truly care about your furbabies well being! When we moved out of the area, we continue to commute back to see Dr Rix.

Falconridge Animal Hospital is the best. My pets are extremely well taken care of by all the staff. Our dog had a recent unfortunate case of lice and Dr. Rix took special care of her; doing research to try and solve the problem. She found a medication that worked when all others failed, and our St. Bernard got to keep her beautiful coat and no more scratching. Our pets love going to the vet, and we actually have to drag our dog out b/c she wants to stay longer. I have no hesitation recommending Falconridge Animal Hospital to friends and family. Keep up the great work!
