My puppy's clinic is awesome. Our vet is great in giving tips, advices and you never feel hurried up on the consultation appointment. Often they give free nail trims. I have always found the Vet's and staff to be very helpful and truly interested in giving your pet the best care. They are kind and patient with the anamals a go out of their way to help you understand very thing that is going on with your pet. I have brought my pets here for years and more then one pet. My Dana does so well when we take her there this is our 5th year. My Mom also took her Brittany Jake there R.I.P. Growing up on a farm I enjoyed the services of our multi talented large animal veterinarian. He was competent, reasonably priced and practical. I DON"T want to pay for aquariums and fireplaces in the waiting room where I'm waiting for my dog to get stitched up. Dr Kevin and his staff are wonderful. We got our new kitten neutered last week, and it was a wonderful experience. They gave me the low end quote and a high end quote so I knew exactly what to expect. They called when Samson's surgery was over to let me know he was doing well and called to follow up to make sure everything was okay the next day and a week after the surgery. He is very caring and compassionate to our dogs and us, he takes time to listen and explain things to you and never makes you feel rushed. Our greyhound and older cat both had to have some serious dental work done over the past few months, and we've been thrilled with the care they received at Glamorgan Animal Clinic. Both animals were treated with kindness and gentleness, which is very important to us. Our dog's blood work indicated some slightly elevated kidney stuff and Dr. MacAulay took the time to email back and forth with us several times, outlining the possible treatment options, their pros and cons and their costs. That was a huge help to us and we felt much better knowing that we were making informed decisions about her care. The clinic was already aware that greyhounds are more sensitive than usual to medication and anesthesia, and kept a close eye on her when she went under. Our dog and cat both recovered even faster than expected and we can tell they're feeling much better thanks to the GAC team. They have been fantastic about answering any questions or concerns over the phone or by email, and that's been really reassuring. We wouldn't hesitate to bring our beloved family members here again. Choosing a new vet when moving to a big city is a pretty daunting task. I lucked out by choosing Glamorgan Pet Clinic. This clinic is great! I appreciate the friendly and quick service. I drove all the way from SE Calgary and it was well worth it. I'll def be taking my dog back. Also got a recommendation from the vet to visit the Glamorgan Bakery. I would recommend this clinic to everyone ! I don't have a bad thing to say. My parents and I have been going here for 15 + yrs. Dr. Kevin Mccauly is one of the most caring vets I have ever met and actually really cares for your pet and listens to you as an owner. My dog Bailee has gone through a lot and Dr. Mccauly always made sure she was ok even giving phone calls to my home to check on her well being. We needed to get shots and the usual stuff for our puppy. We and our puppy are very happy with the care he has received by Dr. MacAulay. Dr. MacAulay takes his time to ensure our dog is thoroughly checked and our concerns addressed. We feel comfortable asking silly questions (consumption of waste, cutting his nails and housebreaking) to more serious issues such as concerns with our dog's hind legs. Someone who knows me would say I'm obsessed with animals. I'm the annoying person who takes pictures of them and send them to anyone on my contact list who cares. I can have a whole conversation on the adorable things animals do, and so on.My senstitivity to animals was cultivated at a young age, and to this day, I'm a bit paranoid with how 'I think(in my head)' they feel. So, when one day, Larry, the Jack Russel Terrier I had been sitting for two years had a lump in his fur, I panicked, like 'oh my god, it's cancer!' based on the diagnosis I googled.I decided to take Larry to his vet, and he goes to the Glamorgan Vet Clinic. I was able to get an appointment by the next day, and the staff at the clinic were very courteous of my not so calm self. Dr. MacAulay was SO kind, and so calming, that I felt better as soon as he entered the room. He was thorough in examining Larry, and was very gentle with him, which is important to me. He went over his history and answered all of my paranoid questions, and told me Larry likely has a cyst, and no, it wasn't cancer. he let me listen to his heart with his stethoscope and told me if I had any questions that I could call them anytime. He also told me that on certain months, they offer discount services to their clients, which was nice of him to let me know.I was so impressed with his knowledge and kind manner, that I dont care where I live, I'd drive to see him next time I get a pet of my own.If you love you some animals, like I love all the ones I have in my life, then you can trust this clinic 100%.
