Where can I start? I would recommend this office to anyone in search of a clinic that cares about pets and their owners. Dr. Emily is an incredible vet and we count ourselves lucky to have found her. This is a veterinarian who cares more about the well-being of her patients than she does about money or her own time. For example, we recently had the sad experience of having to put down our beloved kitty. When Dr. Emily called us to break the news, she told us that she would come in to do the procedure whenever we were ready, including on her day off (which is what it ended up being). She gave us time with our cat and did not rush us to get things "over with" so that she could go home for her day off. She provided us with many words of comfort during the procedure and was so kind and gentle with our cat. Our cat was always quite vicious at the vet, but she always spoke to her calmly and affectionately (where other vets have been very obvious that they didn't want to be holding our angry kitty). Even in times where it may have been easier (for her) to sedate our cat for procedures, Dr. Emily chose the route that would be more cost efficient for us. A couple weeks after putting our cat down, we received a lovely, hand written card from the entire staff of the clinic sending their condolences. Every single person wrote a personal message of comfort. This went above and beyond anything I could have expected. I could honestly go on and on, but the bottom line is, this clinic is amazing.

I drive across town to see Dr Wanda. This clinic is the only one I recommend in the city because they know a lot more about animal science and nutrition than is taught in vet school.

My husband and I drive from the other side of the city to bring our dog to see Dr. Wanda Vockeroth. She gives great advice and doesn’t try to make you do things that your pet doesn’t actually need. When she actually does recommend things, I know she really has my dogs best interest at heart. I love how she has a holistic approach, but not in a “fluffy” way. I literally wouldn’t even consider another vet unless I absolutely had to. The clinic has a nice set up and the front end staff are very friendly.

This place is a wonderful vet clinic that offers both Western veterinary medicine and holistic medicine and other approaches to animal care by some great veterinarians and specialists. Years ago, a vet at another clinic recommended that I look into acupuncture for my older girl because he thought it might help give her some additional pain relief. Long story short, it made a world of difference. We switched over to Little Creek for her acupuncture because of the service. (Our vet at the clinic is Dr. Wanda Vockeroth. She is VERY knowledgeable about holistic medicine as well as Western veterinary medicine.)

Southwood Vet and all their staff are all amazing! Over the years when health concerns have come up with my dog. They have always been extremely caring and compassionate. My dog has had a lot of problems with his eye due to an injury. Nothing but the best treatment for him. He is almost 9 and we have been going there since he was a puppy for his first set of shots.They really know what they are doing. Their prices are very competitive.I would highly recommend Southwood Vet to anyone who loves their pets.

This is an amazing vet clinic. They go above and beyond to care for your fur babies. Dr. Vanessa and Dr. Wanda are my favourite. Every time I had an emergency with my rescues, they were there to save lives. Dr. Wanda is a homeopathic vet and my little Russian Blue girl lived a long happy life with her kidney problems because of alternative approach to treatment . Dr. Vanessa is a reason my little autistic rescue is still alive today as she stepped in and made an educated guess to diagnose mycoplasma when a blood test and an x-ray were not much of a help. She gave her the right medication at the right time when it seemed that it would not end good.

They are lack of care about pet and you it's unbelievable. I had to reported them to Albrta medical board of veteneriants . Dr. Wonda was my dog doctor after charging us 800-1000$ per visit, when my dog had a serious Alergy reaction to vaccination she dined service to us . This reaction cause him to loose his mobility and walking ability. Her assistant Alison she is even more cruel . I have reported them to animals cruelty association as well .

I have a few vets in the city that I use depending on the situation but I live in Beddington and drive across the city to see the Vets at Little Creek. I have a 13 year Shepherd Mix that see's Dr. Corinne Chapman for Acupuncture and general health visits and the care and knowledge is beyond compare. Having a clinic and doctors that aren't afraid to try holistic approaches or to think a little outside the box has kept my gorgeous girl happy and pain free in her senior years!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and questionable record keeping. I used to go to the Southwood animal hospital for a number of years and stopped going there in 2013 because they did not treat me very well at all and when my cat had an issue, they showed little compassion. They also wrote things that were not correct in my pet's file that could potentially make a difference in whether or not I'm covered by my insurance company. For example, they indicated in the file that there were potential digestive issues and when the issue was resolved as a food allergy, my insurance company indicated that there was no notation of that in the file. When I called Southwood to say I wanted to review my file, they argued with me and reminded me sarcastically that I hadn't been to their clinic since 2013 (it might have occurred to them that I was unhappy there).Since 2013, I have chosen instead to take my cat to Fish creek animal hospital. They have been wonderful at every visit. They don't speak to me with disrespect and they treat my fur baby like one of the family. They even managed to shorten her dental surgery appointment from one month to 6 days....because they cared enough to put in the extra hours to help her. If you are looking for a good Vet...go to Fish Creek animal hospital and, no matter where you go, it is good to get copies of what is written in the file on a regular basis...just in case.

Even in times where it may have been easier (for her) to sedate our cat for procedures, Dr. Emily chose the route that would be more cost efficient for us. A couple weeks after putting our cat down, we received a lovely, hand written card from the entire staff of the clinic sending their condolences. Every single person wrote a personal message of comfort. This went above and beyond anything I could have expected. I could honestly go on and on, but the bottom line is, this clinic is amazing.

Dr Carl is awesome. She was so great to my mom and her dog a few years ago with all the health issues Holly had, and now I have a puppy of my own and knew I wanted her as his vet. Thank you!

I drive across town to see Dr Wanda. This clinic is the only one I recommend in the city because they know a lot more about animal science and nutrition than is taught in vet school.

My husband and I drive from the other side of the city to bring our dog to see Dr. Wanda Vockeroth. She gives great advice and doesn’t try to make you do things that your pet doesn’t actually need. When she actually does recommend things, I know she really has my dogs best interest at heart. I love how she has a holistic approach, but not in a “fluffy” way. I literally wouldn’t even consider another vet unless I absolutely had to. The clinic has a nice set up and the front end staff are very friendly.

This place is a wonderful vet clinic that offers both Western veterinary medicine and holistic medicine and other approaches to animal care by some great veterinarians and specialists. Years ago, a vet at another clinic recommended that I look into acupuncture for my older girl because he thought it might help give her some additional pain relief. Long story short, it made a world of difference. We switched over to Little Creek for her acupuncture because of the service. (Our vet at the clinic is Dr. Wanda Vockeroth. She is VERY knowledgeable about holistic medicine as well as Western veterinary medicine.)

Southwood Vet and all their staff are all amazing! Over the years when health concerns have come up with my dog. They have always been extremely caring and compassionate. My dog has had a lot of problems with his eye due to an injury. Nothing but the best treatment for him. He is almost 9 and we have been going there since he was a puppy for his first set of shots.They really know what they are doing. This is an amazing vet clinic. They go above and beyond to care for your fur babies. Dr. Vanessa and Dr. Wanda are my favourite. Every time I had an emergency with my rescues, they were there to save lives. Dr. Wanda is a homeopathic vet and my little Russian Blue girl lived a long happy life with her kidney problems because of alternative approach to treatment . Dr. Vanessa is a reason my little autistic rescue is still alive today as she stepped in and made an educated guess to diagnose mycoplasma when a blood test and an x-ray were not much of a help. She gave her the right medication at the right time when it seemed that it would not end good.

Highly recommend Little Creek Vets. Everyone is always friendly and helpful and their first concern is for the well being of our pets. They are lack of care about pet and you it's unbelievable. I had to reported them to Albrta medical board of veteneriants . Dr. Wonda was my dog doctor after charging us 800-1000$ per visit, when my dog had a serious Alergy reaction to vaccination she dined service to us . This reaction cause him to loose his mobility and walking ability. Her assistant Alison she is even more cruel . I have reported them to animals cruelty association as well .

I have a few vets in the city that I use depending on the situation but I live in Beddington and drive across the city to see the Vets at Little Creek. I have a 13 year Shepherd Mix that see's Dr. Corinne Chapman for Acupuncture and general health visits and the care and knowledge is beyond compare. Having a clinic and doctors that aren't afraid to try holistic approaches or to think a little outside the box has kept my gorgeous girl happy and pain free in her senior years!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and questionable record keeping. I used to go to the Southwood animal hospital for a number of years and stopped going there in 2013 because they did not treat me very well at all and when my cat had an issue, they showed little compassion. They also wrote things that were not correct in my pet's file that could potentially make a difference in whether or not I'm covered by my insurance company. For example, they indicated in the file that there were potential digestive issues and when the issue was resolved as a food allergy, my insurance company indicated that there was no notation of that in the file. When I called Southwood to say I wanted to review my file, they argued with me and reminded me sarcastically that I hadn't been to their clinic since 2013 (it might have occurred to them that I was unhappy there).Since 2013, I have chosen instead to take my cat to Fish creek animal hospital. They have been wonderful at every visit. They don't speak to me with disrespect and they treat my fur baby like one of the family. They even managed to shorten her dental surgery appointment from one month to 6 days....because they cared enough to put in the extra hours to help her. If you are looking for a good Vet...go to Fish Creek animal hospital and, no matter where you go, it is good to get copies of what is written in the file on a regular basis...just in case.
