My dog passed away in July suddenly from her seizure disorder while I was at work. When I called to get information the receptionist was rude and the vet didn’t even bother to meet with me to discuss what happened (I had to rely on google!). I had been attending this clinic for 9 years and they couldn’t even bother to send a card of condolences. They care more about money than the animals they care for and the people who love them. I work in health care and the way I was treated when my dog suddenly died (and as a side note my 7 year old was home with the dog and literally watched her seize to death so a little sympathy would have been nice!) was deplorable. I have since removed my other dog from this clinic. Disgusting! Read Less

I recently went to this vet for the first time, after having a bad experience at the vet in Evanston. The office, is clean, bright, friendly! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable -- and Dr. Rowe was very good with my dog, she discussed all of my concerns and took her time with us. What an amazing team. Recently I took our little guy Joey in for dental surgery and I could not be happier with the experience we had. Dr. Rowe and Nina took the time to explain the procedure both pre and post OP as well as what was required during recovery. They kept me updated during the procedure and followed up the next day. I even received a letter of the procedure from Joey's point of view. The little extras are what make this hospital special. After the surgery they showed me all of the xrays and pictures of the work done. I also love that when going in for grooming there's a board that welcomes the appointments for the day. My experience with Nolan Hill was excellent, even before I stepped into the office. My partner and I recently adopted our first puppy and had a lot of questions regarding the first vet appointment, so we sent them a quick email. Within an hour, they responded with a detailed description on what to expect upon our first visit and for the near future. Dr. Rowe was incredibly informative and transparent. I’ve heard horror stories about vets trying to push products on patients, but she took her time explaining everything so that we could make an informed decision ourselves. Not to mention she was also impressively swift at handling our mouthy puppy! The staff out front was also very warm and friendly and showed our family plenty of love. We have had a very good experience with Dr. Rowe and Andrea, the groomer, who have both handled our nervous dog with the utmost care and patience. The clinic is very clean, and the services are very affordable. Dr. Rowe is extremely kind and friendly. Dr Rowe is amazing, she truly cares about each pet and sees them as family members, she always manages to give hope with our dogs difficult condition. She always goes above and beyond for us. Willing to talk, and gives informal consults. Even if we lived accross the city this would be our main vet. The front staff are knowledgeable, always remember us, if our food isn't in stock (we use a pretty rare type) they will have it brought in the following day. Such a fantastic clinic and the most warm welcoming staff!! I just started coming here with my new puppy and I am blown away by how amazing Dr. Rowe is! It's so refreshing to have such a knowledgeable and approachable vet that takes the time with your animal. You can really feel the true passion of everyone there and their love for the animals and their job! We took our cat Jet there after seeing another vet who did nothing other than take her blood work and no follow up. After talking to some friends we took her to Nolan Hill Vet Clinic. Dr. Rowe is AMAZING! She was very friendly, approachable and in layman terms "gave it to us straight" which I appreciated. She went above and beyond for Jet, even taking the time to answer all of our followup calls and emails about how to do injections. Dr. Rowe is amazing. She's intelligent and so kind. Our dog Gus has had three issues to date and she's been able to assist us quickly and easily. The last time Gus saw her he swallowed a thick wool sock. She was busy but was still able to squeeze him in last minute. Thankfully no surgery was needed and he's now free of the sock. If surgery was required we were told we may need to go to the emergency hospital but at least they were able to admit him for the day for a small fee. I would recommend this place to anyone in the city. Even if it's a bit far, it's worth the drive. Their staff is absolutely wonderful and caring. Dr Rowe and her staff are amazing! We first took one of our dogs there, and it was under very sad circumstances. Dr Rowe gave us all the information and support we would need to make an informed decision, and when the time came, she was also there for us and sympathetic as we had to put our dog to sleep. Since then, she has taken care of our two puppies and has always taken her time and shared her knowledge. I recommend this clinic to every pet owner I know. You will not find a more caring vet. This is an amazing clinic - different in so many ways - it doesnt feel "clinical - it has a very warm homey feel inside and the staff are genuine, kind and professional. Dr. Rowe is wonderful and Lori at the front desk is sweet and professional. This is the best vet clinic I have ever been to. This is one great clinic. For many years now, I have been using Vets to Go for home visits for my cats, but recently thought for routine shots I would take my little Bichon Shitzu into the clinic, as its close and she doesnt get nearly as stressed as the cats about leaving the house. I had seen the place from the outside, but had never ventured in , i was shocked when I walked in - it was gorgeous. It doesn't look like your typical vet clinic - it feels more like a high end spa inside with thoughtful furnishings and colours. I enquired about the clinic and Lori the lady at the desk took me on a brief tour ( how nice) and showed me around. I was impressed. The whole place was quite amazing. I booked my dog in. About a week later I brought " Twinkie" in. The day we arrived - I noticed a chalk board on the floor of the lobby welcoming all the furkids in that day - Twinkies included - written in brightly coloured chalk - how sweet. She was weighed right in the lobby simply by walking over to a weigh scale that was inset into the floor - then we headed into a little room for her exam. Dr. Rowe and Lori were so good with her. Today - I had to bring my cat in for an ultrasound - this was something that i had been dreading as my cats don't leave the house and I knew it was going to be stressful for her. They very kindly allowed me to be in the room for the whole procedure to assist in calming her, and the vet was there with the tech for the whole thing The team there is wonderful - so nice, so caring and the clinic is truly the best I have ever been to. Wow! What an amazing experience with all of the staff here. Dr. Rowe is fantastic. I had to take our pooch in for an emergency visit as he hurt himself and was not himself. She did a thorough exam and put him on a recovery plan. I'm so glad that we didn't wait any longer to become new clients at this practice. I had seen Dr. Rowe at a previous Vet clinic and when she transferred to Nolan hill (which is way closer to home) I was thrilled. She truly has a passion for animals and genuinely cares. My dog recently had to get surgery to have a couple cysts and lumps removed and they worked with me and my dogs needs so that he had to spend as little time as possible there. My dog gets very stressed when he's at the vet and they always try to make him as comfortable as possible and I really do appreciate that. I got to know Dr Rowe and her husband while working on the clinic. They were two of the best clients I've had in twenty years of construction. So of course when I adopted two rescue kittens about a month after they opened, I brought them there for a check up and introduction. And of course she was just as good a vet as she was a client. My first time meeting Dr. Rowe was two days before her clinic opened with my newly adopted, sick puppy. Dr. Rowe's phone lines were open and she was busy setting up her clinic for opening, but still happily welcomed Tillie and I to her clinic to ensure she was okay. Tillie has since been back for her shots and suspected kennel cough, both times Dr. Rowe's bedside manner was over the top, so much so that Tillie tries to lead herself to the vet when we are out on our walks. Dr Rowe mentioned she would call to check in on Tillie; I expected someone from her office to call, but Dr. Rowe again exceeded my expectations and called herself. Tille and I were on our walk shortly after our last visit and Dr. Rowe happened to see us, stopped us, on her personal time, to ensure Tillie was doing well.
