Background…Our dog Blaze after several procedures in the past woke this morning unable to use his back legs, we knew the time had come. We called Forest Lawn Veterinary clinic…see below:
Atmosphere Bright, tranquil and soothing.
Protocol…Even in today's darkness, this facility did not lose its professionalism or respect, such remained at the helm. We were greeted and escorted by a tech named, Shawna, a lovely lady.
Receptionist…Brandy perhaps without realizing it invited me to the facility with her beautiful voice on the telephone. Her wit and her softness knowing how to handle a sad situation was prevalent, meeting her in person was a pleasure. The pleasantry portrayed within Brandy's voice told me, this is the place to say good-bye to my dog Blaze.
Dr. Denny… Well folks you couldn't ask for better, Dr. Denny explained everything in detail and didn't leave me guessing, soft, beautiful demeanor, an absolute delight, I'm truly Blessed.
Time was not the issue, guessing had no place, care and compassion certainly was that saving grace. Thank you staff members of Forest Lawn Veterinary Hospital.

We love Dr. Chynoweth, I have taken my dog there since I got him at 4 months old and he is 8 now, however I do recall a visit with another vet when ours was away, her name was Dr. Gallacher and she was horrible to us and very snarky about the fact that I did not crate my dog during the day when I am at work, she was not a pleasant lady at all. I regret that we may need to seek another clinic for our dog in light of your experience Kayla, very sorry to hear about your pup.

Dr. Gallacher is great. She's been the vet for all our dogs and she's always friendly with them and takes the time to explain things during the exams and answer all our questions. She's performed surgery on a couple of our dogs and we've always been happy with the care she and the other staff give them before, during, and after the procedure.

The worst vet experience last night with Doctor Robyn, went in with my dog last night after he was attacked by a big dog. She was making rude and snarky comments throughout the whole five minute checkup, which by the way was $125.88. What a joke this place is. We went in because we thought his jaw was messed up... she hardly looked at the jaw, she was making us feel bad because he’s not neutered and has an ora/certain scent that makes dogs want to attack him. Definitely would not recommend this place at all... stay away and take your pets somewhere else.

Forest Lawn vet has taken the time to make my dog enjoy her visit and they sincerely love and care about your animals. I had to take Emerson my 21year old cat in for a check up is wasn't looking so great that morning the lady on the phone booked Emerson in right away and was seen right away all the front stuff was really loving and friendly.The male doctor was so caring he treated Emerson so great he gave me a few different options that may make him feel better but they was nothing that could save his life. Very sad day but I was glad that This hospital was there for my Emerson.
He was very honestly and caring.
I would recommend this Veterinary to any one

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Forest Lawn Veterinary clinic. What I noticed first was the beautiful smile on the receptionists face. That was my invitation to feel welcomed on the premises, I'm a stickler for good customer service and the Forest Lawn Veterinary clinic met my expectations. I was very pleased with the love and care given by Dr. Chynowcth, his eyes tells the story of how he truly loves taking great care of our four legged family members. I may forget his name sometimes as you can see it's not an easy one to say but his face and the love that shone through, I'll never forget...Everyone, even the young gentleman that helped with Blaze's collar was a delight. Place your dog or cat in the hands of Forest Lawn Veterinary clinic, I know you'll be happy you did, I sure am.

Dr.Aleksandra Tanyi at Marlborough location is an amazing diagnostician! I took my cat to a recommend vet in my area and he wasn't able to diagnose the issue after X-rays and observation for the whole day. Five days later my cat was worse - so I drove across town to see my former vet Dr.Tanyi. She immediately diagnosed Ninja and treated her. Ninja is on the mend now

We had gone in for a checkup for our min pin (Hades) yesterday at the Trans Canada location. We had been going there for years for our other animals and this was our first visit with Dr. Zedde. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Zedde and his team, he is the best veterinarian that we have ever had. Hades is typically very nervous and aggressive at his visits to all vets. Not this time, Hades which normally bites (among other tactics) did nothing. He stood there while Dr. Zedde nurtured him during the physical examination. Dr. Zedde cared about him and made him feel comfortable. We could clearly see that Dr. Zedde loves what he does, its rare to find a doctor like him that takes the time to look at all options, listens to you and searches for answers. When it comes to a pet you want whats best and we defiantly have found the best veterinarian. The front staff were very kind as well, overall 5 star experience.

I love going here, the staff are great! Any questions I have are always answered. I mean I can be a pain when it comes to knowing every detail. My Pom bear has been going here for three years and Cujo my four month old Shepard just started. When they walk in the door they are always greeted and aren't scared of the vets office.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The offices are always clean. Everyone knows what they are doing. And I find they go above and beyond to make sure all your concerned are answered.

I've had some awful experiences with vet's rushing through appointments and worse yet, making us wait 25 minutes in a small exam room for our scheduled appointment. It's made my dog hate vet's. Forest Lawn vet has taken the time to make my dog enjoy her visit and they sincerely love and care about your animals. The absolute best clinic I've ever been to and would highly recommend to everyone!

I recently moved to Calgary from another province and had my dog Beau's medical history transferred here. Dr. Chynoweth took his time with reviewing Beau's complex file and discussed all the possible options we had moving forward. We are working on one of those options currently and I plan to continue bringing my animals there. I absolutely recommend this veterinary hospital.

I had to take Emerson my 21year old cat in for a check up is wasn't looking so great that morning the lady on the phone booked Emerson in right away and was seen right away all the front stuff was really loving and friendly.The male doctor was so caring he treated Emerson so great he gave me a few different options that may make him feel better but they was nothing that could save his life. Very sad day but I was glad that This hospital was there for my Emerson.
He was very honestly and caring.
I would recommend this Veterinary to any one

I went in for a senior review with my dog, I was expecting them to insist I have another round of vaccinations, but the vet surprised me by asking once and dropping it immediately. I was not given a bunch of other things I did not need either. They are a very conscientious clinic, definitely going back :)

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Forest Lawn Veterinary clinic. What I noticed first was the beautiful smile on the receptionists face. That was my invitation to feel welcomed on the premises, I'm a stickler for good customer service and the Forest Lawn Veterinary clinic met my expectations. I was very pleased with the love and care given by Dr. Chynowcth, his eyes tells the story of how he truly loves taking great care of our four legged family members. I may forget his name sometimes as you can see it's not an easy one to say but his face and the love that shone through, I'll never forget...Everyone, even the young gentleman that helped with Blaze's collar was a delight. Place your dog or cat in the hands of Forest Lawn Veterinary clinic, I know you'll be happy you did, I sure am.

Dr.Aleksandra Tanyi at Marlborough location is an amazing diagnostician! I took my cat to a recommend vet in my area and he wasn't able to diagnose the issue after X-rays and observation for the whole day. Five days later my cat was worse - so I drove across town to see my former vet Dr.Tanyi. She immediately diagnosed Ninja and treated her. Ninja is on the mend now

We had gone in for a checkup for our min pin (Hades) yesterday at the Trans Canada location. We had been going there for years for our other animals and this was our first visit with Dr. Zedde. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Zedde and his team, he is the best veterinarian that we have ever had. Hades is typically very nervous and aggressive at his visits to all vets. Not this time, Hades which normally bites (among other tactics) did nothing. He stood there while Dr. Zedde nurtured him during the physical examination. Dr. Zedde cared about him and made him feel comfortable. We could clearly see that Dr. Zedde loves what he does, its rare to find a doctor like him that takes the time to look at all options, listens to you and searches for answers. When it comes to a pet you want whats best and we defiantly have found the best veterinarian. The front staff were very kind as well, overall 5 star experience.

I love going here, the staff are great! Any questions I have are always answered. I mean I can be a pain when it comes to knowing every detail. My Pom bear has been going here for three years and Cujo my four month old Shepard just started. When they walk in the door they are always greeted and aren't scared of the vets office.
