RIP-OFF ALERT!! Took my cat there for spaying. 3 months later she went back into heat, so I took her back. Vet said "I did nothing wrong" and suggested that I, well, "service" the cat with a glass rod, and charged me $62! I contacted Alberta Veterinary Assn and was told that if any tissue is left behind during the procedure the cat can continue going into heat, that it's not uncommon, and that "any good vet will correct the situation for free". MacEwan Veterinary Clinic refused. In fact when I went back (once with and once without the cat) with results from research etc, all vet did was repeat that he'd done nothing wrong, and charged another $60+ for each "consult". I went to a different vet nearby who said he's "always cleaning up MacEwan's messes", and did so; but for a (reasonable) fee. When all was said and finally done, it cost twice what it should have to be a responsible pet owner and have my cat spayed. Not to mention, it was hard on my poor cat.If you care about your pets and your budget, do not waste either by going to MacEwan Veterinary Clinic. Read Less
