Dr. Elock and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Dr. Elock has been amazing working with the dental treatments my 13 year old Schnauzer has required. During his routine checkups she sits on the floor with my dog (he is scared of tables and slippery surfaces)! I can't say enough amazing things about her and the staff - they are all always so helpful and I actually look forward to visiting the clinic and conversations with the vet and front staff!

I moved over to West Springs vet with my Chocolate Lab, Thor and I have never been so happy with the service from the moment I walk in the front door to the attention Thor gets every time he's there. Dr.Kaylan Elock is absolutely fantastic and very informative and leaves no stone unturned. We have since added another lab to our Family and Titan has been well taken care of as well. Thank you Dr. Elock fro everything you do and your staff at West Springs. And did I mention that treats are plentiful here!

My 13 yr old frenchie became very ill xmas 2017 and it was time for me to make the hardest choices for his life and mine. Dr Elock, Lori and and ALL the staff at Westsprings made that time actually bearable for me. They took the time and care to create an atmosphere in the room with blankets and pillows and a soft light so we wouldn't feel we were in a sterile room and they let me take as long as I wanted to say goodbye to my sweet sweet boy! My dog Wilbur had been sick for many years, surviving cancer - hopping around on 3 legs and many other issues. I have seen many vets over the years but out of all of them - Dr Elock at West Springs truly is the best!

I recently brought my puppy Walter for allergy troubles with a referral from Lori Schaff, and the vet was amazing. Dr.Kaylan Elock was so friendly and personal! She was on the floor with my Walter checking him from head to toe. She made me feel so at ease and comfortable with the plan going forward. I have now changed Vet clinics based on my experiences here with Dr.Elock! The receptionists have been absolutely amazing they are so friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this clinic not only for the vets but for the receptionists and exceptional service.

Let me share some more information to the review from Ms Szymanski. He dog stayed with porcupine quills for 2 days before she sought
vet service( OUCH)!!!
After we removed the quills, Ms Szymanski was nicely asked to leave her beloved dog for at least one hour in our licensed facility for monitoring of anesthesia recovery by a licensed veterinarian and a licensed veterinary nurse.She disagreed and took her heavily sedated and unable to walk dog out of the clinic and the poor dog had to suffer lying down on the cold pavement on the rainy parking lot because he could not jump in her car.
We reported that cruelty to SPCA.
Oh, and by the way, the receptionist was interrupted many times while providing the estmate over the phone, so she was not allowed to be accurate.This is where the " hidden fees "came from.

This veterinarian is .. well.. very rude. I am sorry to say that, but his condescending matter of speaking, his blunt remarks made me feel like I am in a backwoods of a Russian village. Do yourself a favour, DON'T GO THERE.

Overpriced medication. The prices are double what other vets in the area are charging. Dr. Oprikov was quite rude and condescending when I spoke to him about the price differences.

My dogs ear was hurting so we took to this vet. The problem was that the hair in her ear was building up because she is a non shedding dog. We ended up paying 200$ for them to just clean out her ear. ...
My dogs ear was hurting so we took to this vet. The problem was that the hair in her ear was building up because she is a non shedding dog. We ended up paying 200$ for them to just clean out her ear. This vet is REALLY expensive, do me a favor and DONT go there.

Dr Oprikov was recommended to me by a neighbor..I live in NW, but I was searching for a sincere carrying doctor, dont we all? I left a message at 9 pm Wednesday, I was very concerned about my love ones health..got a respond soon after same night ,amazingly..and although they were fully booked Dr Oprikov took me next morning..gave my little one full attention ..didnt compromise neither with time nor care..figured out exactly what was wrong with her fixed it and gave me all the necessary information to avoid endless visits to the vet..I call this pure love and care for animals ..unlike most other doctors ..I highly recommend dr Oprikov..he is worth the distance ..if you are looking for a qualified doctor who truly cares ..he may be one of the best ones out there!

Dr.O and his team are so genuinely concerned with the health and wellbeing of my Labrador pup. I returned to living in the SW after living in the NW for 4 years and Dr.O took me back as a customer and much to the delight of Dexter (the pup). Dexter has continuous issues with his ears and has suffered a severe infection of late for which Dr.O and his team provided knowledgable options for cure. Dr.O goes out of his way to get all the facts and history on medications etc to ensure he is going right by the pup and by the owner. His fees are reasonable considering the outstanding service and expertise you receive. I would recommend this vet and his team to anyone looking in this area, you will not find better.

I recently brought my puppy Walter for allergy troubles with a referral from Lori Schaff, and the vet was amazing. Dr.Kaylan Elock was so friendly and personal! She was on the floor with my Walter checking him from head to toe. She made me feel so at ease and comfortable with the plan going forward.
