My GSD doesn’t like his nails being done at all. I had him neutered at this clinic last year. While he was sedated, they did his nails and did an awesome job. I decided to go back and get them done again and needed him to be sedated in order for them to do it. The staff and the vet were really nice. I took him in, they did his nails under sedation and I took him home. When I looked at his nails, they’d done a really poor job. That was all he was there for and he was asleep. It should have been easy to do a good job. I sent them an email explaining I wasn’t happy with the nail trim. Apparently that is out of bounds because a letter with no profanity, being complimentary to the staff and their previous service was deemed “verbal abuse” and I was told to find a new vet clinic. Disappointing doesn’t begin to cover my experience. And I’m happy to find another clinic.

This joke of a clinic harassed my friend nonstop to have her cat put down there. She chose to find somewhere else to have it done instead, and these assholes sent the cops to to her HOUSE when she didn't answer their calls. Bullying, harassment, and stepping WAY out of bounds. This place is deplorable.

So happy to have my senior dog attended to here. I started using them when I returned to Calgary in 2014. They have taken such great care of both my dogs. Recently my 10 y/o lab cross was bitten by another dog. They did fantastic work. Showed great compassion and absolute professionalism. I have seen a few different vets there but lately it has been Dr. Hayley Robbins. Dr. Hayley is so smart and very methodical. She is great with my dog, and understands all my concerns. She is excellent at answering my questions and coaching me on anything I may need to do at home. The office has also answered questions I have had in a timely fashion. They will be my vet for as long as I have dogs.

We take our 3 pets to Westhills, each of which has ongoing health issues. The Vet and technicians are always compassionate and professional. They do not hesitate to spend the time to explain options, and will recommend doing nothing when that's the best option. I respect they don't try to sell us drugs or procedures that are ineffective.
I recommend them.

I bought my miniature dachshund a medical pet shirt. I tried on a size that seemed too small and so I confirmed that I could return it if it did not work with the receptionist.
At home, I realized it was too small and so I decided to return it. The receptionist today said they could not return it as it had been worn, I would not have bought it if I had known this and felt the receptionist was really rude and short. I came back to the clinic to ask if I could at least change it to a different size or to explore other options. It was only then where they tried to come up with a solution. I take my dog to several vets and I have never come across a practice that is so unprofessional and inconsistent in their policies.

Brought our cat in fort boosters and the total came to 200 DOLLARS. PREPOSTEROUS. Do your due diligence and check for prices first. They also try to recommend utterly unnecessary blood tests and other services. This vet is the most dishonest and exploitative I have visited in 33 years of pet ownership. For shame.

Have consistently left this clinic feeling like it's about the money and not about the animal care. One vetrinarian made me feel like crap about my lack of funds and didn't offer any options to me other than spend an obscene amount of money or put your cat down. They once called to check on an animal and when I called them back and said who I was and who my animal was the woman on the phone replied with "did you dial the right number?"
I will not be returning to this clinic with any animal.

I have trusted Westhills Veterinary for over 15 years & with 2 dogs. My dog Basil received care for 13 years. When we received the cancer diagnosis , the vets were compassionate & went out of their way to ensure I understood the process, even though treatment who'd be given at a specialist vet clinic.
I registered my puppy Enzo here without hesitation.
I have always felt I have received great service, compassionate care & fair pricing at this clinic.

I regretted. Although it is very close to my home, I would rather find another vet.
The front desk staff are not professional enough. I am very disappointed. First of all, the staff got the client's name and phone wrong on file and on the invoice. It is very major typing mistake. Very carefulness. Secondly, I don't think they updated the correct information after I emailed them the right contact.
How come the owner hire such a non-professional staff ?

Excellent, compassionate vets! They really make an effort to educate you on your pet's health (they let me look at my kittens earmites through the microscope!), there is such a wealth of experience between all the doctors, and they are thorough and utterly compassionate. They have always provided me with follow up phone calls and extensive conversations going over test results. One of my cats had a minor issue that he didn't go in for and still the staff followed up with me of their own accord to check on his wellbeing. I value this sort of treatment very highly!

I've been going to the Westhills Vet clinic for 10 years now. At first I went because it was the closest vet to my home. But I've stayed because the service and care for my dog has been excellent.
In particular, Dr. Sinclair-Smith has been wonderful. She goes above and beyond and always helps me understand what is going on with my dog. I never feel pressured to choose a treatment option and am given multiple choices on how to proceed.
I'm very glad that I found this clinic.

Always my go-to for my kitty's needs & check ups. Very empathetic and caring staff. I have a very sick kitty but I always look forward to bringing her in because I know that she's in good hands. I've been coming here for 5 years and wouldn't dream of going elsewhere! I would recommend this vet to anybody.

My go-to clinic for all of my dog's needs. Westhills Vet has been fantastic since my dog was a pup - we've been coming here for almost 10 years. The vets have great bedside manners during check-ups, and the staff is fantastic with getting your pet in as soon as possible if there is a more urgent issue.

My GSD doesn’t like his nails being done at all. I had him neutered at this clinic last year. While he was sedated, they did his nails and did an awesome job. I decided to go back and get them done again and needed him to be sedated in order for them to do it. The staff and the vet were really nice. I took him in, they did his nails under sedation and I took him home. When I looked at his nails, they’d done a really poor job. That was all he was there for and he was asleep. It should have been easy to do a good job. I sent them an email explaining I wasn’t happy with the nail trim. Apparently that is out of bounds because a letter with no profanity, being complimentary to the staff and their previous service was deemed “verbal abuse” and I was told to find a new vet clinic. Disappointing doesn’t begin to cover my experience. And I’m happy to find another clinic.

So happy to have my senior dog attended to here. I started using them when I returned to Calgary in 2014. They have taken such great care of both my dogs. Recently my 10 y/o lab cross was bitten by another dog. They did fantastic work. Showed great compassion and absolute professionalism. I have seen a few different vets there but lately it has been Dr. Hayley Robbins. Dr. Hayley is so smart and very methodical. She is great with my dog, and understands all my concerns. She is excellent at answering my questions and coaching me on anything I may need to do at home. The office has also answered questions I have had in a timely fashion. They will be my vet for as long as I have dogs.

We take our 3 pets to Westhills, each of which has ongoing health issues. The Vet and technicians are always compassionate and professional. They do not hesitate to spend the time to explain options, and will recommend doing nothing when that's the best option. I respect they don't try to sell us drugs or procedures that are ineffective.

At home, I realized it was too small and so I decided to return it. Have consistently left this clinic feeling like it's about the money and not about the animal care. One vetrinarian made me feel like crap about my lack of funds and didn't offer any options to me other than spend an obscene amount of money or put your cat down. I have trusted Westhills Veterinary for over 15 years & with 2 dogs. My dog Basil received care for 13 years. When we received the cancer diagnosis , the vets were compassionate & went out of their way to ensure I understood the process, even though treatment who'd be given at a specialist vet clinic.

They really make an effort to educate you on your pet's health (they let me look at my kittens earmites through the microscope!), there is such a wealth of experience between all the doctors, and they are thorough and utterly compassionate. I've been going to the Westhills Vet clinic for 10 years now. At first I went because it was the closest vet to my home. But I've stayed because the service and care for my dog has been excellent.

My go-to clinic for all of my dog's needs. Westhills Vet has been fantastic since my dog was a pup - we've been coming here for almost 10 years. The vets have great bedside manners during check-ups, and the staff is fantastic with getting your pet in as soon as possible if there is a more urgent issue.
