Everything about this practice is horrific. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. The doctor does not call back with results and makes you wait. My girlfriend had to call many times to get results from a test that was done. It seems that the doctor is never in when we call. It doesn’t get much better with the front-end staff either. They are horrible, very rude and not very welcoming. The knowledge that they have with food and products are underwhelming yet they try and sell to you. There is one girl there was red hair, very rude on the phone and when you go in. Really made us feel dumb. We are first time dog owners and we will never go back to this clinic. Read Less

Thursday I took my kitten in for a neuter through the meow foundation's SNAP program as I am low income and knowing this is usually a great service. I know I'm only paying $60 but i did not expect for you to treat him as such. The last thing your male vet said to me was "if the cone falls off tie it to his collar" With in 45 minutes the cone did not just fall off, it unraveled so i put it back together and taped the tabs down, and tied it to his original snap collar. The second time it came off that night was when we tied it to his snap collar, non snap collars were NOT specified and i would have appreciated it as i'm a first time kitten owner, its all the little details that were left out. Friday i received a call from the friendly front desk staff making sure he was okay which he was. saturday at about 2:30 my boyfriend calls me while I'm at work (he's watching kitty) and tells me my kitten had been trying to get to his incision and in the process opened it up with the edge of the plastic cone that clearly did not fit. We were NOT bringing him back to somewhere that negligent which is why we took him to northland veterinary at that point where he was treated with antibiotics, pain meds, a proper fitting cone, and people who are in it for the compassion. When I was able to get a hold of the vet today on a Tuesday afternoon when I called yesterday morning explaining the urgency, he laughed on the phone accusing me of "unfair accusations" yes this was after going back and forth but I am not one to yell or swear which I held true to and the 3 minute conversation ended with me hanging up on this arrogant man. In total what should have cost me $60 through a great cause and no financial problems cost me $348, in the grand scheme I don't care what I spent as long as I still have my fur baby but I'm absolutely disgusted with the way your doctor treated me. I would not recommend this clinic. My appointment at this clinic felt more like an extended sales pitch than a doctor's appointment. I brought my two cats in, one who is 4, and the other a 6 week old kitten. I chose this clinic after realizing that my kitten had ear mites. All the other clinics I called said they'd wait until 8 weeks to treat her- but this clinic said they could treat her now. However when I came in person they told me I had to come back when she was 8 weeks- and pay for another visit. My four year old cat is overweight and they told me that she needed to lose weight, which was not a surprise. What was a surprise was the Hill's brand Metabolic food was the only food that could help her according to them. I asked for other brand recommendations and they would only recommend Hill's Metabolic. This seemed very strange to me. There are tons of high quality brands out there, but conveniently the only one that will help my cat is the brand I can only buy from you? Then they gave me a "New Kitten Welcome Present." This turned out to be a bag full of advertisements for pet insurance, tags, microchips, ect which is pretty standard. What wasn't standard though was the tech going through each leaflet with me and trying to pressure me into buying Hill's products, pet insurance, and a microchip. I found this to be incredible unprofessional. Last but not least they tried to guilt me into having x-rays and blood work done on my 4 year old cat. I don't object to the recommendation. I do object to pushy sales tactics that make me feels like all I care about is money if I won't get these procedures. All in all I felt like I couldn't trust the advice I received from this clinic. It felt like they were more concerned with selling me services and products than providing high quality service and advice. I am incredibly upset and disappointed. I have used four vets in various cities and never been treated like this. Read Less
