I was apprehensive so called the clinic to get information about my cat’s concerns and was provided with details about what to expect on my visit. They squeezed me in to ensure my cat was seen— which he definitely needed to be. The staff were all super welcoming but I can’t say enough about Dr. Liz. She was thorough, caring and a wealth of knowledge. She spent over and hour with us explaining his symptoms and treatment options. She had collected our cat’s information from a previous vet- reviewed those reports for us- and did not recommend any unnecessary testing. I remember when it used to be called Willow Park feline clinic back in 2004 when Dr. Linda Phipps was the vet back then. I started taking my Mom's cat Tippy and our new furbaby BlackJack there because the sound of dogs stressed them out at another clinic and I as a pet parent only wanted to make sure they were safe and had better quality of care. Tippy and Bailey (my sister's kitty) are long gone now and I have many wonderful pictures of them. Today BlackJack is a healthy 12 yr old and has been a part of this fine establishment for 12 yrs thanks to Dr. Liz & staff whom I've known for more than a decade, they are family indeed in my books.Read Less

I have a cat that was very ill, Dr Liz and her team were able to assist us in a long term treatment plan that got her better and she is back to her old self. My other cat is older and has a hard time with anesthetic, Dr. Liz had to remove 2 tumors from his chest and managed to find a drug combination to make him comfortable, although he was awake, he felt no pain, I know because I held him through the procedure to keep us both calm. In my opinion Dr. Liz Ruelle is the best vet in the city! She also happens to be the only vet in the province that is a feline specialist, being a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Feline Medicine. We are so fortunate to have her on our doorstep. Both vets and all of the staff will do everything they can to help, including things like baskets to hide in during their visit, and calling to check up on how a cat is doing after a surgery that the Wild Rose Cat Clinic didn't even perform. They've really gone above and beyond our expectations many times when one of our cats has been sick. I can not write a glowing enough review, but I can give them five stars for being exceptional. I took my 8 months old cat here to have him neutered and have his hernia surgery done. I was so impressed with Dr.Liz, her knowledge and passion for cats. It's clearly not just the business, it's the facility where every staff member cares and tries to make "the vet experience" very smooth and stress free for you and your pet. The woman who runs this clinic is one of the most fabulous veterinarians I have ever had the extreme pleasure of dealing with !! There is NOBODY else I would or will ever trust more with my cats than Dr. Ruelle!! She took my Saisha in at a time when nobody else had a clue what was wrong and everyone else had given up, Liz bought her 3 additional years with us ~!She goes above and beyond when pets are in her care and quite frankly when they are gravely ill she is their best chance !!!
