One of my dogs is a 100lb rescue who doesn't trust strangers, Dr. Tara & the staff were great with him, they booked extra time to ease him into his appointment and by the end had him calm & had gained his trust enough to treat him. These guys are awesome. I try to be a good pet owner, but my four legged friend loves to eat anything he can fit in his mouth. Luckily this clinic has been easy to deal with and very understanding. As for prices, they can get a bit expensive, but have always offered cheaper alternatives whether at their office or somewhere else. Read Less

Being new in Cochrane and with a new kitten, I luckily had numerous choices in veterinary care. From the reviews and a few others good references, I decided on CAC. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and very caring. My cat is an Exotic Shorthair and needs a little extra TLC. Dr. Becky Whittle is fantastic with my little guy, as is the other staff. He had a few shots and was a little ill afterwards. Dr. Whittle phoned to check in on him, making sure he was doing well and making positive progress. Amazing!  Our experiences have been amazing!  Ryan and Tara have come out to our farm numerous times to help with our large animals.  Their customer service and complete understanding of our animals was amazing. Not all calls are good calls, Tara had to come put down our daughters beloved horse from a  freak accident.  It broke our hearts, Tara was there for us and gave him the best care!  Words can not express how great Cochrane Animal Clinic is!  We got an amazing card from the staff, which shows such care and understanding!  Our dog Sadie is pregnant and we will defiantly be bringing her there for care, and the puppies as well.  Thank you for all you do!  Front end staff is just as good. We had the BEST experience! Dr Ryan came out to see my mare after a full day of being on calls! He was amazing! He treated my mare and myself with exceptional kindness and customer service. I am happy to say my mare is on the mend. We have a rural vet we use, and I am very nervous about having someone else on the farm, however I will not hesitate to contact Cochrane Animal Clinic again! My grandma was very nervous about having a dental for her senior cat "Sheba" I urged her to seek out a clinic that made her feel comfortable. After seeing a newspaper add she booked her first visit/consult during your client appreciation day and was very happy with the outcome of the visit. Dr. Tara put her at ease and she was extra excited about winning one of the gift baskets. I brought my very sick kitty here. At first I was happy with the check up and the prices are good BUT my cat was waiting for a test results to come back to pin point the appropriate treatment while she hadn't been drinking or eating for days. I was told "tomorrow or early the next day" I ended up having to call them about 6 times at the end of the next day and hackle them to get my results back because "oh they should have been back by now" while I was at home freaking out because I felt like my 5 year old cat was going to kick the bucket! Tests came back negative... Okay so what now? They told me they didn't know... Are you kidding me right now?! My cat hadn't eaten/drank anything in over a week and you have NO idea?! She tells me to come in the next day so we could talk about our options. So I showed up the next morning (after calling in sick from work!) to find out the doctor wasn't even working that day! Why would you book me an appointment and then NOT BE THERE! I ended up going to a different vet and her treatment was given so late I had to hospitalize her. $2600 I will never see again. Ugh.... The two stars is ONLY because there prices were fair. Read Less

Dr Nathan and Jessica are the best!!! Our little chocolate lab has been seeing them since she was tiny (10 mos). There definitely has been a few incidents and both Nathan and Jessica were there to help. They are simply fantastic with her and us! Read Less

Absolutely Amazing. I truly can't explain how happy and grateful I am to have found this clinic. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable care that leaves you feeling like you made the best decision for your pet. We took our bulldog in after a long disappointing weekend at one of the emergency vets in Calgary to get a second opinion and proper treatment for her as she had a run in with a porcupine. I called monday evening as we were left pulling a tremendous amount of quills ourselves at home after she had spent three days at another clinic. We got in right away the next morning and were given a proper fasting schedule so as to not put our girl in any unnecessary risk. She went in with Dr. Ripley first thing the next morning who went above and beyond to not only make sure that she found every quill possible but also fix incisions and sutures that had been improperly done and were becoming infected. When we went to pick our girl up she was bright and happy (no longer lethargic and limping). We were also very happily surprised to see that they had done all this at a very reasonable price. All of the front office staff and other vets were amazing as well, we have found our long term vet clinic. Read Less

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to all the staff, but especially Dr. Ripley for the diligent,  hard work that was put in to ensure my dog got the best care possible.  After we had a long difficult weekend dealing with another clinic who left our dog in very rough shape, I called the Cochrane animal clinic. We were able to get an appointment the next morning, I left feeling confident that our beautiful girl would be in good hands. She went for surgery the next day after proper fasting, where they were able to not only fix what our initial problem was but also go the extra mile to fix the mistakes that were made over the weekend. Our dog is now getting back to her usual happy loving self and the price was more than reasonable which we were happy to pay. Read Less
