My cat had dental work done here and they were great. They thoroughly explained everything, did detailed blood work and x-rays. They also explained everything to me (before and after) and took great care of my cat. They are more affordable than city vets too.

Front end girls are very nice and professional, the place is clean. The vet Tec that clipped my 2 dogs nails went above and beyond and cleaned up my old dogs sore which was very nice of her! The reason for the 3 stars was the price, it cost us almost 70.00 for 2 nail trims. In airdrie it has never cost us more then 30.00 for both dogs, I almost fell over when she told me the total. I will just continue to take them to airdrie for there nails to get done.

I have gone to this very many times before. Unfortunately the last time i went i had to put down my dog. The experience was traumatic enough without the vet questioning my intentions on a constant basis. It was truly the worst experience before and after the decision was made. Afterwards i purchased a paw print canvas so as to remember my pup. The staff told me that it would be a simple thing done in approximately one week. I had to call myself to find out the status on the end of the second week. I got told the tech was busy and would call back later. That was fine. 2 hours later the call came back that they had no idea when it was to be completed. Wow i thought. So now we are at the end of week 4 and still nothing. I was debating on what to write if anything at all. Now that the point of bad service has been reached this review has been written. Otherwise this clinic had been very reasonable on rates. Maybe it was just this particular vet on duty?

Super place! This is the only vet we will take our pets to. Very caring, compassionate and will not try to get you to spend unnecessary money.

We have taken our dogs to this clinic for 8 years and have had nothing but great service from everyone. We only had to switch because they are so busy that we couldn't get in as soon as we needed to. ...
We have taken our dogs to this clinic for 8 years and have had nothing but great service from everyone. We only had to switch because they are so busy that we couldn't get in as soon as we needed to. I can't imagine what that one person was talking about in her nasty review.

If i could give zero stars i would. This place is an absolute joke. The first time i walked in i was treated like a piece of garbage because my 3 year old son decided to change his kittens name (because that is their choice). We had 4 animals there that day, 2 cats and 2 dogs, one of which was being fixed. They never asked us if we wanted pre screen blood work on the kitten however when they told us they wanted to do dental work on our other cat (who is not old by any means so no reason he wouldn't be able to handle being put under), they asked to do pre screen blood work in which we said yes. This dental work was not even being done this day nor had it been booked to be done at all. 2 days after leaving this joke if a place our kitten who was not even 4 months old had to be rushed to an emergency vet where he died....why you ask? because Nagel & Co did not do pre screen blood work on him before putting him under and his kidneys could not withhold being put under and they shut down. When we phoned Nagel & Co so explain what had happened, the ONE veterinary assistant was extremely upset and sent us her clearly heartfelt apologies however, when talking to the veterinarian herself she was a self righteous ignorant human being. Would not let me husband speak two words would not say sorry for what had happened. Only had to keep reminded us that shes has never been wrong in her career at nagel & co and she did everything perfectly. My husband has been trying to get ahold of the office manager at Nagel & Co for days now to discuss the $1700 dollar bill we paid for (due to their ignorance and neglect) and has yet to hear a response. Slow clap for this pathetic clinic. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS PLACE!!!!! EVER!!!!!! Now that this has happened to us and I've been speaking to other people in our community, it turns out i am not the only one to think this place has poor practice protocol and the Veterinarian herself only cares about the pay cheque and not about the actual well being of the animals being brought into her.

WONDERFUL!!!! Everyone at Nagel Veterinary services are Fantastic. I bring both our dogs here. We had a couple of tough months with one girl but the love and attention they gave to Zoey to help her before, during and after surgery was amazing. They called daily to make sure that she was doing okay and that we were also handling everything okay. I would drive from Calgary to Crossfield for their check ups (luckily I move to Airdrie). This is the only vet that we will ever go to.

Our family has spent a lot of years searching for an incredible veterinary clinic to take care of our furry family members...and we have finally found it. The care, patience and compassion these folks have is second to none. Dr. Lopez along with all of the staff took such great care of all 3 our dogs and truly made us feel at ease. Our dogs were loved and completely comfortable while we were at our appointment. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you!!!

Since Ron (Trans Canada vet ) retired ! It was hard to find a decent vet ! Went to one place to get my dog fixed , and fat deposit removed ! Well that butcher shop hurt my Lab ! And charged me a arm and leg ! But Ron told me about these guys ! And I'm glad ! I haven't been hosed , nor ripped off ! And the staff and Dr.s are great ! We recommend them to everybody , we meet at dog parks ! And tell them where , and where not go ! Thanks

Outstanding Veterinarians at this clinic the passion they have for their careers and compassion towards pet owners is outstanding first we went here for the prices as the clinics in Calgary and Airdrie charge over double the cost to spay a kitten! I left my Kitten (Devon-Rex) here for the day without any concerns knowing that she was going to be well taken care of and given lots of love and attention during her recovery after surgery I want to thank everybody at the clinic specially Dr.Lopez and Brown for putting up with all my questions and concerns following the surgery

Absolutely amazing, I cannot ask for better service. Honest, caring, and the service is outstanding. They also don't charge unnecessarily, and will always give you a detailed reason for what each charge is and why it is necessary. They also explain in detail every cost, willingly give quotes and do not under quote. Cannot recommend enough!!

The first time i walked in i was treated like a piece of garbage because my 3 year old son decided to change his kittens name (because that is their choice). WONDERFUL!!!! Everyone at Nagel Veterinary services are Fantastic. I bring both our dogs here. We had a couple of tough months with one girl but the love and attention they gave to Zoey to help her before, during and after surgery was amazing. They called daily to make sure that she was doing okay and that we were also handling everything okay. I would drive from Calgary to Crossfield for their check ups (luckily I move to Airdrie).
