I cannot say enough great things about this place. Our lab mix tore his knee ligament and we were quoted $5-7 grand within Calgary. With a baby on the way, and me going on mat leave soon, we were scared with how much that would financially set us back. I called around to many different places until I received a recommendation from a friend about the Didsbury vet clinic. I called the clinic, and got to speak directly to Gord who would be performing the procedure. I was blown away with his experience and professionalism, I got my husband to call him and he was kind enough to give him the same spiel he gave me. A week later, our dog was booked in for surgery. He was so loved and welcomed when he arrived, and was so well taken care of overnight. His recovery was unbelievable, and we are so incredibly grateful we found a place that could do it at half the cost we were getting quoted, and gave our dog the top treatment he deserves! They are the Hogwarts of veterinary clinics . They work magic.They saved my Bullmastif from dying from an allergic reaction from a bee sting 4 years ago. They were able to save my horse from being put down which had a back leg swollen right up. Very friendly always able to help you in a emergency somebody always on call. Excellent care of my 2 cocker spaniels. The staff is friendly and helpful. My dogs relaxed after a few minutes and did not even react to getting their yearly vaccinations. Grateful. Dr. Andy saw our cat Joey outside clinic hours. He treated him and figured out what was going on. He was kind an compassionate. We live in Airdrie and we will travel to Didsbury for our cats going forward. There are lots of vet clinics but we have found ours. We also were not charged a huge fee for this emergency service. I absolutely love this vet clinic. I take my cat there and just today, I took in a feral cat that I have been looking after for the past 3 weeks and they were very understanding of his nervous nature and how scared he was. Poor guy is getting neutered, so either way he won't have a very good impression of the vets, but I adore the vets and staff here. The pricing is incredible, as well. They are worth the drive. Took my two youngest cats in for their yearly check up/shots today. We got there an hour early and that was not a problem. They took us in right away. Janice mentioned how I am her client that lives the furthest away and I told her I would drive anywhere I needed for her to be the primary care giver to my kitties. If you need a vetrinary clinic that cares and actually gives a damn this is the place. 06/2015 I still stand by my previous review. I just wanted to add I no longer live near here but I still come here. I live in Edmonton so it is at least 2 hour drive one way. I am sure my cats aren't that pleased with me that they are in the car this long but I would NOT trust their care to anyone but Dr Janice and her colleagues. My Maine Coon needed a dental cleaning in May which is SURGERY and I could not have imagined letting him be put under by anyone other than Janice. She found 2 tiny teeth that were being reabsorbed and removed them as she felt they were causing him discomfort. She said it feels like your wisdom teeth coming in. Anyway she didn't call me ahead of the extraction because she knew I would agree to do what ever was best for Gussy. I was not able to make the trip with him that day due to work commitments so it was my husband who took him. However Janice called and emailed me to check on Gus and explain everything she did. Was here today to pick up a prescription for our 18 yr old kitty Henry and will be back with our 2 youngest in 2 weeks for their yearly visit. I think the only thing keeping me in Calgary was Didsbury Veterinary Service and my own personal doctor. If I win the lottery I will pay Dr Janice to do house calls here in Edmonton. 01/2013 I would rather drive the 1 hour each way to have the kind and caring treatment from the staff here than go into Calgary that is closer. I feel these vets really care about my pets and have always been able to squeeze us in when one of them presents with a sudden aliment. I wish I could get more pets just to see them more often and to give a rescue as chance at the most wonderful care ever! Read Less

Amazing clinic. Dr. Gord was fantastic with our dog Wednesday. Even calling the next day to check on her. We've also dealt with Dr. Bruce with both our cats and our dog. He is great as well. Very happy with this vet clinic and will continue to send everyone I know their way! Read Less

Learned our lesson today... Last week we took our dog to a city vet to take a look at her tooth, which looked like it was infected...they wanted to remove the tooth. After a trip to Didsbury, we find that all she needed was a good cleaning. Thanks again! Read Less

Hands down, the best veterinary clinic I have been too! My beloved Yorkies had dental surgery there today and the service, genuine care and concern and the knowledge of the Veterinarian and Technicians far exceeded any clinic I have been to here in Calgary.
