My choice for vet services. The staff here is great, the vet always takes time to expalin things when you ask questions and cares about your pet. I love that he talks to them as he is handling them ...
My choice for vet services. The staff here is great, the vet always takes time to expalin things when you ask questions and cares about your pet. I love that he talks to them as he is handling them and gives them rubs after a needle to distract them from any discomfort.

Have been taking both my cat and dog to see Dr. Percy Howlett since we got both animals and have never had a bad experience. Dr. Howlett cares for the animals and is very patient and kind. I feel lik...
Have been taking both my cat and dog to see Dr. Percy Howlett since we got both animals and have never had a bad experience. Dr. Howlett cares for the animals and is very patient and kind. I feel like their pricing is pretty standard and have not had an experience in 10+ years of using this vet where I thought the price I paid was too high or questionable. We experienced a medical emergency with our dog a couple of years ago and they were quick to get him in for treatment. As we had to leave our dog there for treatment, the staff provided us with frequent updates in regards to what was going on. I moved to the south side of Edmonton yet continue to make the trip to the north side seeing as both I and my animals are comfortable with the doctor and treatment they receive here. Would absolutely recommend.

We have been with Bell Rive vet since 2007 when we rescued our dog. She has never been sick, except for and occasional ear infection, anal glad issue and one scratched cornea. In December, we took her in because she seemed to have developed a cough. The diagnosis after blood work was allergies. Prednisone prescribed with a humidifier going 24/7. The cough quieted but she was losing weight... fast. I had her weighed weekly and she continued to lose weight. Turning to the front-end staff for help they just shrugged their shoulders and said the Dr. would call. I got the call that evening, with the lecture on allergies, I should change her dog food, give her Pepcid AC. Dis-satisfied and very concerned, I searched for a second opinion. One chest x-ray later, diagnosis Lung cancer. My pet is now just a beautiful memory and we have a new vet! My response to their brush off....Sandra Ellis That is interesting as I continually asked your front end staff what I should do, I brought her in on a weekly basis because of weight loss? I knew something was wrong. I trusted you and all got was a allergy diagnosis....every time. I never said the coughing went away I said it calmed. I really doesn't matter now, she is gone. .By the way my pet name was Flomar not Canine!

Today we put down our beloved pet of 16 years. Dr.Percy and his staff were comforting and explained everything to us at this difficult time. I highly recommend him and his staff. Thankyou.

Overcharged for basic services. Had to go to another vet when they missed things too. Now their reply to me even states they don't have me as a customer even though I get regular Xmas cards from them ...
Overcharged for basic services. Had to go to another vet when they missed things too. Now their reply to me even states they don't have me as a customer even though I get regular Xmas cards from them and my dogs are vaccinated. Somebody isn't doing a good job of records there
