After experiencing Rocket Baby's heat cycle a couple times, the whole house dreaded that time of the month. After looking around and reading reviews for a few places and speaking to a few of them, we decided to have her spay procedure done here. Not only was it cheaper than most other places, they were able to fit us in within a couple of days. They even called to confirm the day before. My roommate dropped her off in the morning, and I received a call regarding what I wanted to have included. I picked a booster for all of her vaccines, a deworming dose, a microchip and painkillers for the impending pain that I knew she was about to experience. The bill was around $300.They gave me a call after she had woken up to let me know there had been no complications (which was good to hear, because she's the baby of the house and I had been worried) and made sure all of my questions were answered. When she got home, the incision was clean and done well (at least to the untrained eye). I hadn't picked up a cone because I wasn't totally sure that she would lick her stitches (Pro-tip, always get the cone, then you're prepared and don't have to fashion one out of an old milk carton till the vets are open again because she didn't start licking till 9 PM, and you'll have one for when you're not around and can't make sure that they aren't licking. Not only that, but it's hilarious), but they let me know I could go in and pick one up whenever I needed one. They also sent my roommate back with everything I would need and helpful instructions on paper on how to care for her afterwards. On Monday, three days after her surgery, they gave me a call to check on Rocket and make sure she was doing okay. At all points of contact the staff were extremely polite and understanding and made me feel good about my choice. I only wish that they had given me painkillers to last more than 2 days, because on day three she was looking a little unhappy. But then again, maybe it was because she wasn't stoned on painkillers anymore. All in all, she's doing wonderful and I look forward to her full recovery and the regrowth of her stomach fur (have you ever felt a cat's bare stomach? It's weird). Read Less
