My regular Vet is hopeless if you have an emergency. This Vet will get your animal in and provide excellent care. I just wish they weren’t so far from my home otherwise they would be my regular Vet.

April 23 , 2020 was the day we had to have our Beloved Bella put down. She was in a great deal of pain and for a month we tried 3 different vets to try to find out what was wrong and how to treat her problems. We spent literally thousands trying to get a diagnosis. Even went the Guardian Vet clinic and they misdiagnosed her. By the time we found out what was wrong she had been suffering way too much and we made the agonizing decision to have her put down. Oxford Vet Dr. Tamer was so kind to us and especially to Bella and he handled her so gently. Dr. Tamer and all the wonderful ladies on staff sent our family a condolence card personally signed by each with individual messages of sympathy for her passing. This was the first time we had been to Oxford Vet and will be bringing our animals to this clinic from now on.
Very impressed by their kindness in our time of sorrow.

We have been going to see Dr Tamer since OAH first opened, and have nothing but love and respect for everyone there. One of our dogs required surgery on 2 knees for luxating patellas, which was done by Dr Tamer. Everyone went above and beyond, during every step of the way, making us feel supported and comfortable by answering all our questions. We have been there multiple times over the years and now it feels like home to us and our puppies.We recently had to go in for an issue with our dog that has idiopathic facial nerve paralysis as well as a mass that was discovered. It was a scary moment and Dr Tamer spent way more time with us than our scheduled appt, answering the many questions we had. He also did his best to provide comfort when I became emotional. We have been to a number of vet clinics over the years and Oxford Animal Hospital, and more specifically Dr Tamer, is by far the best we've encountered!

Took my dog in for a check up and the vet held my dog by his neck in the air so the nurse can put his muzzle on. My dog couldn’t breathe and he ended up peeing himself. They did not stop even when I told them to. My dog is so shaken he’s been crying in his sleep. I am so beyond disturbed and disgusted by what they did. I will NEVER come back here again. I am considering on contacting animal services or even the police.

I have brought my kitten and my older cat there and every time I go I am always more than happy with the care my cat has received! The prices are great too! I would highly recommend to go here! Took Otis to the Vet today at Oxford Animal Hospital located 15154 127 St NW. I highly recommend anyone with a pet to bring them there. I've never seen a dog so happy to go to the Vet before!. Every question was answered directly (even if the answer wasn’t what we wanted to hear) every effort was made to get our very sick 8 week old puppy healthy again. And we are happy to say they did so well and our girl is happy and healthy!

Oxford Animal Hospital is the best vet in the city. I have seen both the vets there for my dog and they are both amazing. They are caring and compassionate and always take the time to address your concerns and reassure you. The front desk staff is also always super friendly and kind. This place is staffed with people who all go above and beyond to give me a good experience. They do follow up calls a few days after appointments to make sure your pet is doing good which is so nice. One example I have of when this vet went above and beyond for my family is this summer when I was travelling the Southern Gulf Islands in BC with my dog. I last minute decided I wanted to visit the US. I called the vet to explain my situation and the front desk did not hesitate to send me copies of all of my dogs records via email so we would be able to cross the border. They turned a great vacation into an even better one. They also have competitive prices and there is never a long wait to see a vet. Way to go Oxford Animal Hospital!!

My husband and I were extremely upset because our poor dog was in pain but the estimate was 1000. I felt like he couldn't tell that many teeth needed to be pulled with how short he examined her not to mention my husband had had her there a week prior and he told him she just needed a cleaning!! The vet charged us 60 for meds and the syringe wasn't filled to proper amount in one of the syringes... We took her to another vet the next day and he said she needs 1 or two teeth pulled max and most likely none€! The vet told me he was clearly trying to take our money! I will never go there again!!

What an amazing clinic! Dr. Tamer went out of his way to care for not only my precious furbaby but me as her doggie mom. My dog was there for 3 long days. He followed through with every commitment he made, charged fairly for his services and most importantly made my dog and I feel as if we were his only patients! His staff were fantastic too, offered me a tour of the clinic and let me visit as much as I wanted (3 times in one day). You could tell they wanted to be there and loved their jobs and the animals they treat. I highly highly recommend this clinic to anyone with a furry friend. I know I said this when I took Nike home, but I'll gladly say it again....THANK YOU Dr. Tamer and all your lovely staff at Oxford vet clinic!!

My experience was very overwhelming my dog just went for a check up and found two lumps on her breast and needed teeth extracted along with finding she wasn't able to walk very good on back legs to know hip displaicia immediately they asked me to book her in for surgery I waited a couple of days then phoned booked her in they were so reassuring me everything would be fine I was scared my bully would die the female vet totally has experience with bulldogs to know the right size of tubing to use in her throats totally amazed me . Awesome vet! #1, my 1 dog had a seizure on the way there. Blood tests ASAP. Months later I take my 2nd dog there to get nails done (cause I left them too long :/ ) He greeted my 2 yr old daughter with a freezie! She loved It! Snipped my dog (Koda) nails fast and efficient and offered to give us a tour!. This place is so clean, and great people work here. From front desk to the end, it's great to see a vet that actually takes time to care about their patients and owners.

I'M SO HAPPY I STOPPED IN! Every single staff member clearly loves animals, treating myself and my puppy like we their only client even though we're clearly not. I felt welcomed and safe, as did my puppy. We were educated from beginning to end and provided more than we could ask for with his physical, requisite shots and personal discussion from the vet. This was followed up with my another staff member who specializes and provided a personal consultation about puppies training and diet. I didn't even have to ask but his nails were clipped - something I think most pet owners fear doing themselves.
I happened to pop in to the veterinarian because I go to Oxford Physical Wellness next door (also a 5 star experience). There's something about the folks in this Plaza. They are amazing!

I became familiar with this clinic after my old cat became very ill. After years of struggling with diabetes I knew it was time to put her to sleep. I called around bc I had moved far away from my previous vet clinic and was hoping to find something more convenient. When I called to explain the situation the girl who answered the phone was amazing. She assured me that I would have as much time as I wanted with my cat Stabby, a private room, and she took all the information over the phone so I didn't have to deal with that in the aftermath of having to put my long time friend to sleep. When I called other clinics they actually wanted to charge me to examine my cat that was to be euthanized. As if I didn't know as her owner for 15 plus years that it was her time. The price at Oxford was more than reasonable and the care, attention and sensitivity the staff and Dr Mahmoud showed was very comforting. They trusted me and I trusted them. Weeks later I received a very thoughtful card in the mail in memoriam of my cat. A few months after, I rescued another cat. He recently got into a fight and suffered a wound. I had been laid off a couple months prior and they were willing to work with me on payment arrangements which I am so very grateful for as times are tough. They treated me with the utmost respect and did what was best for my cat and will do a free follow up as well. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. As a life long multiple animal owner I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for a moment. Great clinic. Thanks!!

I have been a dog owner for over 60 years. I have never experienced the care, compassion and love that was shown for my Dash and myself as I did today. Dr. Wesam took charge of him immediately, he is being treated and he will be well again. We were there because my Daisy needed her teeth cleaned. Dash didn't have an appointment, but despite this, Dr. Wesam took the time out of a very busy day to check him over. I was so surprised when his test results came back with a very scary picture of onset pancreatitis and liver disease. Dr. Wesam spent over two hours with me and my pups - I have never been in a vet office for 2 hours - ever! But Dr. Wesam was thorough, gentle and very caring of my pups and my feelings. We weren't rushed out, I was given a tour of their diagnostic and operating functions - it was very well set up and clean. All the modern technology that you would need is right there - tests were done immediately and the results came very shortly after - all this did a lot to set my mind at ease. I didn't have to wait days for test results, and my Dash was set up for immediate treatment. After we left, I received a phone call a few hours later from Dr. Wesam, giving me an update on Dash's progress (he is doing great). I was very grateful as I had been very stressed about it. I cannot express the appreciation too much for Dr. Wesam's thoroughness and her compassion. Thank you so very, very much!

Everyone at the clinic is so friendly and welcoming! Everyone always has a smile on their face and Dr. Wassam was wonderful after my rabbit's spay surgery! She went through everything to do with her post-op care and then engaged my 8 year old's curiosity with a tour and explaining all the different rooms and equipment and what they do. It was great to bring Monroe in on a rabbit only day to reduce her stress. I can't wait to bring my dog in for his next checkup. April 23 , 2020 was the day we had to have our Beloved Bella put down. She was in a great deal of pain and for a month we tried 3 different vets to try to find out what was wrong and how to treat her problems. We spent literally thousands trying to get a diagnosis. Even went the Guardian Vet clinic and they misdiagnosed her. By the time we found out what was wrong she had been suffering way too much and we made the agonizing decision to have her put down. Oxford Vet Dr. Tamer was so kind to us and especially to Bella and he handled her so gently. Dr. Tamer and all the wonderful ladies on staff sent our family a condolence card personally signed by each with individual messages of sympathy for her passing. This was the first time we had been to Oxford Vet and will be bringing our animals to this clinic from now on.
Very impressed by their kindness in our time of sorrow.

We have been going to see Dr Tamer since OAH first opened, and have nothing but love and respect for everyone there. One of our dogs required surgery on 2 knees for luxating patellas, which was done by Dr Tamer. Everyone went above and beyond, during every step of the way, making us feel supported and comfortable by answering all our questions. We have been there multiple times over the years and now it feels like home to us and our puppies.We recently had to go in for an issue with our dog that has idiopathic facial nerve paralysis as well as a mass that was discovered. It was a scary moment and Dr Tamer spent way more time with us than our scheduled appt, answering the many questions we had. He also did his best to provide comfort when I became emotional. We have been to a number of vet clinics over the years and Oxford Animal Hospital, and more specifically Dr Tamer, is by far the best we've encountered!

They did not stop even when I told them to. My dog is so shaken he’s been crying in his sleep. I am so beyond disturbed and disgusted by what they did. I will NEVER come back here again. Every question was answered directly (even if the answer wasn’t what we wanted to hear) every effort was made to get our very sick 8 week old puppy healthy again. Oxford Animal Hospital is the best vet in the city. I have seen both the vets there for my dog and they are both amazing. They are caring and compassionate and always take the time to address your concerns and reassure you. The front desk staff is also always super friendly and kind. This place is staffed with people who all go above and beyond to give me a good experience. They do follow up calls a few days after appointments to make sure your pet is doing good which is so nice. One example I have of when this vet went above and beyond for my family is this summer when I was travelling the Southern Gulf Islands in BC with my dog. I last minute decided I wanted to visit the US. I called the vet to explain my situation and the front desk did not hesitate to send me copies of all of my dogs records via email so we would be able to cross the border. They turned a great vacation into an even better one. They also have competitive prices and there is never a long wait to see a vet. Way to go Oxford Animal Hospital!!

The vet took a quick look at my dogs teeth and told me they were loose and 70-80% of them needed to be removed! My husband and I were extremely upset because our poor dog was in pain but the estimate was 1000. I felt like he couldn't tell that many teeth needed to be pulled with how short he examined her not to mention my husband had had her there a week prior and he told him she just needed a cleaning!! The vet charged us 60 for meds and the syringe wasn't filled to proper amount in one of the syringes... We took her to another vet the next day and he said she needs 1 or two teeth pulled max and most likely none€! The vet told me he was clearly trying to take our money! I will never go there again!!

What an amazing clinic! Dr. Tamer went out of his way to care for not only my precious furbaby but me as her doggie mom. My dog was there for 3 long days. He followed through with every commitment he made, charged fairly for his services and most importantly made my dog and I feel as if we were his only patients! His staff were fantastic too, offered me a tour of the clinic and let me visit as much as I wanted (3 times in one day). You could tell they wanted to be there and loved their jobs and the animals they treat. I highly highly recommend this clinic to anyone with a furry friend. I know I said this when I took Nike home, but I'll gladly say it again....THANK YOU Dr. Tamer and all your lovely staff at Oxford vet clinic!!

My experience was very overwhelming my dog just went for a check up and found two lumps on her breast and needed teeth extracted along with finding she wasn't able to walk very good on back legs to know hip displaicia immediately they asked me to book her in for surgery I waited a couple of days then phoned booked her in they were so reassuring me everything would be fine I was scared my bully would die the female vet totally has experience with bulldogs to know the right size of tubing to use in her throats totally amazed me . Months later I take my 2nd dog there to get nails done (cause I left them too long :/ ) He greeted my 2 yr old daughter with a freezie! She loved It! Snipped my dog (Koda) nails fast and efficient and offered to give us a tour!. This place is so clean, and great people work here. From front desk to the end, it's great to see a vet that actually takes time to care about their patients and owners.

I'M SO HAPPY I STOPPED IN! Every single staff member clearly loves animals, treating myself and my puppy like we their only client even though we're clearly not. I felt welcomed and safe, as did my puppy. We were educated from beginning to end and provided more than we could ask for with his physical, requisite shots and personal discussion from the vet. This was followed up with my another staff member who specializes and provided a personal consultation about puppies training and diet. I didn't even have to ask but his nails were clipped - something I think most pet owners fear doing themselves.
I happened to pop in to the veterinarian because I go to Oxford Physical Wellness next door (also a 5 star experience). There's something about the folks in this Plaza. They are amazing!

I became familiar with this clinic after my old cat became very ill. After years of struggling with diabetes I knew it was time to put her to sleep. I called around bc I had moved far away from my previous vet clinic and was hoping to find something more convenient. When I called to explain the situation the girl who answered the phone was amazing. She assured me that I would have as much time as I wanted with my cat Stabby, a private room, and she took all the information over the phone so I didn't have to deal with that in the aftermath of having to put my long time friend to sleep. When I called other clinics they actually wanted to charge me to examine my cat that was to be euthanized. As if I didn't know as her owner for 15 plus years that it was her time. The price at Oxford was more than reasonable and the care, attention and sensitivity the staff and Dr Mahmoud showed was very comforting. They trusted me and I trusted them. Weeks later I received a very thoughtful card in the mail in memoriam of my cat. A few months after, I rescued another cat. He recently got into a fight and suffered a wound. I had been laid off a couple months prior and they were willing to work with me on payment arrangements which I am so very grateful for as times are tough. They treated me with the utmost respect and did what was best for my cat and will do a free follow up as well. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. As a life long multiple animal owner I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for a moment. Great clinic. Thanks!!

I have been a dog owner for over 60 years. I have never experienced the care, compassion and love that was shown for my Dash and myself as I did today. Dr. Wesam took charge of him immediately, he is being treated and he will be well again. We were there because my Daisy needed her teeth cleaned. Dash didn't have an appointment, but despite this, Dr. Wesam took the time out of a very busy day to check him over. I was so surprised when his test results came back with a very scary picture of onset pancreatitis and liver disease. Dr. Wesam spent over two hours with me and my pups - I have never been in a vet office for 2 hours - ever! But Dr. Wesam was thorough, gentle and very caring of my pups and my feelings. We weren't rushed out, I was given a tour of their diagnostic and operating functions - it was very well set up and clean. All the modern technology that you would need is right there - tests were done immediately and the results came very shortly after - all this did a lot to set my mind at ease. I didn't have to wait days for test results, and my Dash was set up for immediate treatment. After we left, I received a phone call a few hours later from Dr. Wesam, giving me an update on Dash's progress (he is doing great). I was very grateful as I had been very stressed about it. I cannot express the appreciation too much for Dr. Wesam's thoroughness and her compassion. Thank you so very, very much!

Going above and beyond, like sending picture updates through out the day, to ease you while your pet is in surgery! Great job! Even with the move across the city, I will continue coming to this office!

Everyone at the clinic is so friendly and welcoming! Everyone always has a smile on their face and Dr. Wassam was wonderful after my rabbit's spay surgery! She went through everything to do with her post-op care and then engaged my 8 year old's curiosity with a tour and explaining all the different rooms and equipment and what they do. It was great to bring Monroe in on a rabbit only day to reduce her stress. I can't wait to bring my dog in for his next checkup. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking at bringing their pets in.

Here is my personal review. As a former employee I know that Dr. Wesam is an awesome vet. I've trusted her with the lives of my animals many times and she has never disappointed me. She was there many times early in the morning to help me with my epileptic puppy. The negative review written was just one person's experience. I suggest you meet Wesam for yourself and come to your own conclusion as to what you think.
