Cypress is a beautiful, gentle 8-year-old female long haired shepherd. She has had hip dysplasia that has continued to get worse over for the past 4 years. It has started to cause her considerable pain and discomfort over the last 1-2 years. We were trying to post-pone hip replacement as we thought it was the right thing to do. By delaying the repair of her hips this caused her to require increased pain and anti-inflammatory medications. Unfortunately, these have now negatively affected her kidneys. We didn’t really know what our options were, and Cypress was going downhill quickly. Dr. Naguib offered us an alternative to hip replacement. The procedure is called a Femoral Head Osteotomy (FHO). We were very cautiously optimistic about this option, and proceeded to further our research. Cypress has 2 bad hips, not just 1. We were concerned if this would be a positive solution for Cypress or were we being cruel. We did a lot of research about this procedure through different medical veterinarian web based clinical trials etc. Also, Dr. Naguib was incredible about answering our MANY questions and concerns. He spent many hours with us consoling us and ensuring us that this would be a very good option for Cypress. With a lot of mixed emotions, we booked the appointment and she had the procedure. We couldn’t be happier! Dr. Naguib and the staff were incredible throughout this entire process! They have continued to provide answers to our questions, loving phone calls, support and expertise for the speedy recovery for Cypress. Daily Cypress is regaining her youth and excitement to play! She acts like a puppy again, even with just having the one side repaired. We will definitely be proceeding with the other side once the required 3-4 month heeling for the first leg is complete. This is by far the best clinic we have ever been to. Dr. Naguib has taken such great care of our dogs. Both of our dogs had to get surgeries done and he was amazing to work with. I cannot even put into words how kind and helpful and amazing and above and beyond all of the staff (especially Dr. Naguib) have been with my two cats. They have exceeded every expectation and treated my girls like family. Dr. Naguib is always honest and forthright and conscious of my financial constraints and has done so much to help me. I have been fortunate enough to only need to see the vet for shots for my bulldogs. That being said I was quite impressed with the level of professionalism demonstrated by the staff. When I met the vet I was quickly put at ease by his demeanor, as were my dogs. He gave a thorough check up and shots all while keeping my one dog calm, even with his 'sister' trying to play. This is the best vet clinic in town!!! I had to take my little dog in for an emergency visit, which they were very accommodating about! Dr. Naguib knew right away what was wrong and gave me a estimate for surgery, which I found to be very fair and reasonable. The surgery went really well and they ended up doing more work then they intended. They ended up honouring the estimate originally given even though I know extra work went into this surgery. I am forever grateful to these guys and have already been referring them to everyone I know. Not only do they care a lot about the pets that come in, they also really care about the owners. I came to this clinic a few weeks ago as an emergency visit. I was so grateful they were able to squeeze me in. The staff here are amazingly helpful and the clinic very clean. The vet Hany who saw my dog is spectacular. He is very knowledgeable and was so good with my little guy. You can tell the staff here truly care about the well being of the animals in their care and allowed me and my dog to leave feeling much happier and at ease. I am pretty happy with my experience here, even if a receptionist put me in so much discomfort filling out the form when i told them that my dog was/is extremely hyper active when she is outside contacting/seeing people and other dogs. I know my dog, and I get usually irritated easily if i have to sit with her longer than i can handle. My awaiting time was almost 20 minutes which I was okey with. I have been to many vets around the city for over a decade. This doctor is 100% the best, friendliest and most reasonably priced one around. Everywhere else tries to nickel and dime but he legitimately goes out of his way to recommend the cheapest options for what is necessary and his genuine love for animals is SO evident. Absolutely incredible vet clinic! I booked my rabbit in for a spay here and was blown away by the compassionate and intelligent staff! They were so wonderful to me and my bunny, and helped me every step of the way to provide the best care for her. They even showed me her incision and explained, in detail, everything that is normal along the healing process and what may represent a cause for concern. I am extremely stingy with that fifth star, but this vet clinic is amazing!! My 12 year old cat, Casey Jones, has gained a bit of weight over the last year. Her normal vet is in Red Deer (I'm that picky), but since this wasn't something super serious, I thought it would be a good chance to try again to meet someone new. Dr Naguib had good reviews and is extremely local. Perfect! From my initial phone call, I felt great about the staff. The location is very nice, very clean, and extremely calm. Casey was weighed, and we chilled in a room to wait for the Dr. *Warning: probably a little gushy*Dr Naguib is the nicest, sweetest, calmest vet my cat has ever met. His mannerisms are so gentle and loving. His voice was soothing. He gave Casey many treats and compliments. She was putty in his hands. I have never seen her so well behaved at the vet. He didn't try to "upsell" me as others have in the past. He gave her a clean bill of health, threw in a sample of new food for her to try, and sent us on our way. Five stars for their continued demonstration of quality of care and overall pleasantness! When my little one needed to be seen by a vet I took a friends recommendation for Rutherford vet. The scheduling process was easy enough. I was able to submit online and received a call shortly after to confirm a time. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful getting the paperwork completed. Dr. Hany Naguib is so amazing, he brings a gentle calmness and patient demeanour which is really helpful and reassuring for me while my fussy kitten gave some real attitude during the exam. Unfortunately for my cat and I, she needed to be given antibiotics and Dr. Naguib patiently showed me how and in seeing how difficult it was to give to her even offered that I could bring her in each day and they could do it for me if it came to that. I appreciated that expensive testing was not pushed on me and I was explained my options along with his recommendations. After two check up calls from them and one check up visit later I felt that my kitten and I were really well taken care of. My bill was very affordable, I know I'd pay any amount for my pet in need, but it was much better than expected and the check up visit was free of charge. Healthy kitten and happy me! Care, kindness and compassion is a quality you will receive at this new veterinary clinic. The staff and clinic environment is warm and welcoming. I have known Dr. Hany Naguib for a while as just an all around kind person. This was my first experience with Hany as a client. My senior dog Willow has not been well for a while. We even had one trip to VetEmerg which really did not yield any idea on what could be ailing her only speculation. Her health continued to be of concern for us, so we went to see Dr. Hany who was only happy to fit us in last minute. From the moment we arrived it was clear to me that he cared about Willow. His initial exam was probably the best one I have any ever seen a veterinarian complete on any of my pets. Careful, systematic and thorough. With his step by step approach Hany was able to determine what was ailing my pet and recommend a treatment plan.
