Brought my cat here due to a paw infection.The examination consist of him petting the cat twice.The vet was NOT friendly so I took my cat somewhere else.I know have found a vet that cares about animals and does a thorough examination (Park west Vet) they are so good to my pets

Very nice vet who is not out to rob pet owners. He is honest and upfront and will try all the cheapest options first.
No hidden fees
And very reasonable visiting fee!

The place was not very busy and I was able to get my dog in right away. Staff was friendly. They were very straightforward with their price and gave us some options. I came home with a few medicines for my dog and it's been a few days and she is feeling better.

Finally found a GREAT vet ! If you're looking for an amazing vet as well as clinic this is the place to go. Kelly is organized and on or ahead of time, also extremely compassionate.
Dr. Bal is the best vet I have been to, he knows everything he is talking about, And willing to answer any question you have.
Worth the drive. 110% will be back when I need to.

Found a great place to take our pets. Our Pug has been sick. Trying to find a place was difficult this close to Christmas. When they answered the phone, they were very friendly on the phone. They were able to look at our dog the next day. When we were there they were informative the whole way through. The price was reasonable and made sure we understood everything. Thank you so much.

My girlfriend and I took our dog into this vet as he was having issues defecating and instead of the vet fixing the issue which we later leant the true cause when we consulted another vet he told us to simply bring our dog in every time he was blocked up after taking three sets of X-rays and putting our dog under thee times to empty his colon which he didn't medicate or anything simply told us to come back when he couldn't poop it turns out it was a herniated colon which the other vet was able to determine over the phone this vet will drag out an illness if it means they will profit more from their pain if you truly care for your pet stay away far far away

Hands down the best Veterinary clinic I have ever dealt with. Staff is kind, caring, supportive, knowledgeable and very professional. I have been using this Veterinary hospital for 11 years Dr. Bal is just a wonderful as the previous owner/veterinarian. I am moving to wetaskiwin in the next few days and will gladly make the one hour trip into the city to continue to receive the care provided by Dr.Bal and his staff 5 stars and 2 thumbs up !!!!

I have to express my heartfelt gratitude to the people at St. Francis. I have had the unfortunate experience of having to put two of my cats down, both times at St. Francis. Each time the doctor and the techs working we're so incredibly compassionate, kind and understanding. They let us do things on our terms, spend as much time with our fur babies and give us the closure we need to get through such a difficult process. Thank you so much, it means everything to have our last moments with our loved ones be so meaningful.

We are new (within 1 year) clients to St Francis being a new pet owner to a spunky small breed and a resident of this area. We love it here and have placed our faith and confidence in all of Billie's pet care (from puppy vaccinations, spay, travelling to other countries with a pet and general care) with all of the staff at St Francis who have all been wonderful, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable! We just LOVE this place! We bring our dog and cat here for all their needs. The doctor and staff are all very caring and knowledgeable. They spend time with you and you pet to understand and fix the problem. They actually want your animal to be well! They are also very honest and upfront about costs, and costs are reasonable for procedures. I don't feel like they ever push drugs/products on me that aren't necessary, and I just really enjoy coming here. Thanks to everyone at St. Francis and I recommend everyone to bring their pets here.

Friendly & Polite receptionist. Dr. Bal was thorough in explaining the costs & worked within my budget. He was friendly, patient, & great with my cat. Vet clinic was thoroughly clean and sanitized. No long wait time. Over all 100% happy with my vet visit today. Will be returning to this clinic.

Found a great place to take our pets. Our Pug has been sick. Trying to find a place was difficult this close to Christmas. When they answered the phone, they were very friendly on the phone.
